Abstract
Description
本発明は、予期せぬことに、ガラス転移温度にほとんどまたは全く影響を及ぼさない、ジシアンジアミドを含む潜熱硬化型エポキシの強靭化剤および促進剤の両方として作用する尿素末端ポリマー、およびそれらの使用の応用に関する。
Claims (25)
- ヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン末端ポリブタジエンをイソシアネートおよびアミン末端停止剤と反応させることにより生成される、尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマー。
- ヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーをイソシアネートおよびアミン末端停止剤と反応させることにより生成される、尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマー。
- 前記イソシアネートが、2,4−トルエンジイソシアネートであり、前記アミン末端停止剤がジメチルアミンである、請求項1に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマー。
- 前記イソシアネートが、2,4−トルエンジイソシアネートであり、アミン末端停止剤がジメチルアミンである、請求項2に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマー。
- 最終反応生成物が、未反応のイソシアネート基を含む、請求項1に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマー。
- 最終反応生成物中に、未反応のイソシアネート基を実質的に含まない、請求項1に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマー。
- 最終反応生成物が、未反応のイソシアネート基を含む、請求項2に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマー。
- 最終反応生成物中に、未反応イソシアネート基を実質的に含まない、請求項2に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマー。
- 尿素末端基ポリブタジエンポリマーを調製する方法であって、
a.末端にヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン官能基を有するポリブタジエンポリマーを提供すること、
b.最初の工程として、前記ヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン末端ポリブタジエンポリマーをイソシアネートと反応させること、
c.第2の工程として、アミン末端停止剤を前記反応混合物に添加して、イソシアネート基と反応させて尿素基を生成すること、および
d.最終の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーを単離し、回収すること、
を含む方法。 - 尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーを調製する方法であって、
a.末端にヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン官能基を有するポリブタジエンアクリルコポリマーを提供すること、
b.最初の工程として、前記ヒドロキシル、カルボキシルまたはアミン末端ポリブタジエンポリマーをイソシアネートと反応させること、
c.第2の工程として、アミン末端停止剤を前記反応の混合物に添加して、イソシアネート基と反応させて尿素基を生成すること、および
d.最終的な尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーを単離し回収すること、
を含む方法。 - 前記最初の工程において、前記イソシアネートが、前記ポリマーまたは前記コポリマーの官能基と比較して化学量論的に過剰に存在する、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記最初の工程において、前記イソシアネート基と、前記ポリマーまたは前記コポリマーの官能基との比が約10:1〜約4:1の範囲にある、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の工程において、前記イソシアネート基が、前記アミン末端停止剤と比較して、化学量論的に同じかまたはより少ない当量で存在する、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 前記イソシアネートが、2,4−トルエンジイソシアネートであり、前記アミン末端停止剤がジメチルアミンである、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- a.エポキシ樹脂、
b.硬化剤、および
c.請求項1、3、5または6のいずれかに記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーを含む、促進および強靭化剤化合物、
を含むエポキシ配合物。 - a.エポキシ樹脂
b.硬化剤および
c.請求項2、4、7のいずれかに記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーを含む、促進および強靭化剤化合物。
を含むエポキシ配合物。 - 前記硬化剤が、ジシアンジアミドである、請求項15または16に記載のエポキシ配合物。
- 請求項1、3、5または6のいずれかに記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーから本質的になる、ジシアンジアミドで硬化されるエポキシ配合物に使用するための促進および強靭化剤。
- 請求項2、4、7または8のいずれかに記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーから本質的になる、ジシアンジアミドで硬化されるエポキシ配合物に使用するための促進および強靭化剤。
- エポキシ配合物で得られる粘度は、非尿素末端強靭化剤および促進剤で得られる粘度よりも低い、エポキシ配合物における促進剤および強靭化剤の両方としての、請求項1に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーまたは請求項2に記載の尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリルコポリマーの使用。
- 前記尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーまたは前記尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーが、硬化エポキシマトリックスにおいて、既知の非尿素末端強靭化剤と比較した場合と同等または改善された靭性を得るが、前記硬化エポキシマトリックスのガラス転移温度は、ほとんど変わらないかまたは全く変わらない、請求項15、16または17に記載のエポキシ配合物。
- 請求項1、3、5または6に記載の前記尿素末端ポリブタジエンポリマーまたは請求項2、4、7または8に記載の前記尿素末端ポリブタジエンアクリロニトリルコポリマーを硬化の前にエポキシ配合物に添加することを含む、ガラス転移温度を変えずにエポキシ配合物を強靭化する方法。
- 前記アミン末端停止剤が、前記反応の最初の工程から残存する未反応のイソシアネート基よりも化学量論的に少ないまたは多い当量で前記第2の工程で添加される、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 従来の促進剤を使用しない、請求項15、16、または17に記載のエポキシ配合物。
- 別の促進剤および強靭化剤を使用しない、請求項15、16または17に記載のエポキシ配合物。
