Claims (20)
- 医学的状態の治療のための閉塞装置であって、
その近位端と遠位端との間に少なくとも1つの通路を有する細長い導管と、
前記導管の遠位部に分離可能に接続された閉塞部であり、前記閉塞部は、放射状に拡張可能な保持構造と、前記保持構造の遠位に位置する膨張可能なバルーンと、を含み、前記バルーンは、前記導管の少なくとも1つの通路と連絡している、前記閉塞部と、を含む
ことを特徴とする閉塞装置。 - 前記バルーンが、その遠位端に位置する複数の開口部を有する、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記バルーンが、組織接着剤を受け取るように構成されており、前記組織接着剤は、前記導管の前記近位端から流れ、前記少なくとも1つの通路を通過し、前記バルーン内に流入し、かつ前記複数の開口部から流出する、請求項2に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記放射状に拡張可能な保持構造が、拡張された凹形、開いた円筒形、または平らな円盤形を形成するようにヒートセットされた編組メッシュから構成される、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記導管と前記閉塞部を連結する分離アセンブリをさらに備え、前記分離アセンブリは、前記導管の回転が前記閉塞部から前記導管を分離するように、雌ネジ部と係合する雄ネジ部を含む、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記閉塞部が、前記少なくとも1つの通路と前記バルーンの内部との間の弁をさらに含み、前記閉塞部が前記導管から分離されると、前記弁が閉鎖される、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記バルーンの外表面が組織接着剤で被覆されている、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記バルーンが概ね円錐形に膨張する、請求項1に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記バルーンが、前記円錐形の遠位端に複数の開口部を有する、請求項8に記載の閉塞装置。
- 医学的状態の治療のための閉塞システムであって、
その近位端と遠位端との間に通路を有する導管と、
前記導管の遠位部に接続され、かつ選択的に分離可能である閉塞部であり、前記閉塞部は、放射状に圧縮された形状および放射状に拡張された形状を有する保持構造と、前記保持構造の遠位に位置するバルーンと、を含み、前記バルーンは、前記導管の通路と連絡している、前記閉塞部と、
前記導管および前記閉塞部上に配置されたシースと、を含む
ことを特徴とする閉塞システム。 - 前記バルーンが、その遠位端に位置する複数の開口部を有する、請求項10に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記導管の前記近位端から流れ、前記通路を通過し、前記バルーン内に流入し、かつ前記複数の開口部から流出する組織接着剤をさらに含む、請求項11に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記放射状に拡張可能な保持構造が、拡張された凹形、開いた円筒形、または平らな円盤形を形成するようにヒートセットされた編組メッシュから構成される、請求項10に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記導管と前記閉塞部を連結する分離アセンブリをさらに含み、前記分離アセンブリは、前記導管の回転が前記閉塞部から前記導管を分離するように、雌ネジ部と係合する雄ネジ部を含む、請求項13に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記閉塞部が、前記少なくとも1つの通路と前記バルーンの内部との間の弁をさらに含み、前記閉塞部が前記導管から分離されると、前記弁が閉鎖される、請求項14に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記バルーンの外表面が組織接着剤で被覆されている、請求項10に記載の閉塞システム。
- 前記バルーンが概ね円錐形に膨張する、請求項10に記載の閉塞システム。
- 心臓の左心耳を治療するための方法であって、
導管の遠位端における閉塞部が少なくとも部分的に左心耳内に位置するまで、患者内に導管を進めることと、
前記左心耳の開口部を覆うように保持構造を拡張することと、
前記左心耳内かつ前記保持構造の遠位に位置するバルーンを膨張させることと、
前記バルーンを前記左心耳の内部に組織接着剤で接着させることと、
前記保持構造と前記バルーンを前記導管から分離させること、
を含むことを特徴とする治療方法。 - 前記バルーンを前記膨張させることは、前記組織接着剤を前記導管の通路内および前記バルーン内に注入することをさらに含み、前記バルーンを前記接着することは、前記組織接着剤が前記バルーン内の開口部を通り流出することを可能にすることをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 前記バルーンを前記接着することが、組織接着剤で被覆された前記バルーンの外表面が前記左心耳の前記内部に対して接触することをさらに含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
