Abstract
Description
図1を参照すると、ポリマーフィルム100は、コア102及び少なくとも1つの外層104を含む。本明細書で用いられる場合、「フィルム」は、不織平面連続シート要素を含む構造である。前記外層104は、前記コア102の上側103、下側105、又は両側103、105に配置されていてもよい。前記コア102は、熱可塑性ポリマーから構築される。熱可塑性ポリマーは、二軸配向していてもよい。本明細書で用いられる場合、「二軸配向」フィルムは、2つの異なる方向に延伸されたフィルムであり、限定されない例として、以下でより詳細に述べるように、横方向及び長手方向に延伸されたフィルムを含む。二軸配向熱可塑性ポリマーの例としては、二軸配向したポリプロピレンホモポリマー(BOPP)、ポリアミド(BOPA)、ポリエステル(BOPET)、ポリビニルアルコール(BOPVA)、ポリ乳酸(BOPLA)、及びポリエチレン(BOPE)が挙げられる。1つの実施形態では、前記コア102は、BOPPから構築される。
スーツケース外殻などのカバン外殻120が、本明細書で開示されるラミネート体110から構築され得る。図6A及び6Bを参照すると、カバン外殻120は、フタ外殻122(図6A)又はベース外殻134(図6B)の形態であってもよい。前記フタ外殻122は、後ろ側部124、フタ上側部126、フタ下側部128、フタ右側部130、フタ左側部132、及び1又は複数のコーナー部分146を含む。前記ベース外殻134は、前側部136、ベース上側部138、ベース下側部140、ベース右側部142、ベース左側部144、及び1又は複数のコーナー部分146を含む。各コーナー部分146は、前記外殻120がカバン物品として用いられる場合に車輪を受けるためのくぼみ部であってもよい。
Claims (22)
- 複数の共押出しされたフィルム(100)のラミネート体(110)から形成された外殻を含むカバン外殻(120)であって、
前記複数の共押出しされたフィルム(100)は、二軸配向熱可塑性ポリマーのコア(102)と、少なくとも1層の熱可塑性ポリマーの外層(104)と、を含み、
前記外層(104)は、フィルム(100)の厚さの0.5%〜25%の厚さを有する、
カバン外殻(120)。 - 前記フィルム(100)が、10μm±5%〜100μm±5%の厚さを有する、請求項1に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記コア(102)が、10μm±5%〜100μm±5%の厚さを有する、請求項1又は請求項2に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記外層(104)が、0.6μm±5%〜2.5μm±5%の厚さを有する、又は、前記フィルム(100)の厚さの2%〜7%である、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記複数のフィルム(100)のうち、少なくとも2つの隣接するフィルム(100)からすべてのフィルム(100)が、同じ方向に配向している、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記二軸配向熱可塑性ポリマーが、二軸配向ポリプロピレンである、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記外層(104)が、ポリプロピレンとポリエチレンとのコポリマーを含む、又は、ポリプロピレンとポリエチレンとポリブテンとのターポリマーを含む、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記コア(102)の融点が、前記外層(104)の融点よりも高い、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記コア(102)の融点が、前記外層(104)の融点よりも少なくとも10℃高い、請求項8に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記フィルム(100)が、延伸されており、横方向及び長手方向のうちの一方の方向において、横方向及び長手方向のうちの他方の方向におけるよりも大きい度合いで延伸されている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記フィルム(100)が、長手方向において60〜190MPaの引張強度を有する、又は、横方向において150〜300MPaの引張強度を有する、請求項10に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記フィルム(100)が、横方向において3.5〜5GPaの剛性を有する、又は、長手方向において1.5〜3GPaの剛性を有する、請求項10又は請求項11に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記ラミネート体が、10〜50のフィルム、又は、22若しくは23のフィルムを含む、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記ラミネート体の厚さが、0.25mm〜2.5mm、又は、0.5mm〜1mm未満である、請求項1〜13のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記ラミネート体(110)が、前記コア(102)の前記熱可塑性ポリマーとは異なる熱可塑性ポリマーから構築された少なくとも1つの補助材料(118)を含む、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記補助材料(118)が、フィルム(100)である、請求項15に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記補助材料(118)が、ラミネート体(110)の内部に、又は、ラミネート体(110)に隣接してラミネート体(110)の外部に配置されている、請求項15又は16に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記ラミネート体(110)の上側(114)に配置されている布裏張り層又はトップ層をさらに含む、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記カバン外殻が、メッシュテキスタイルシートを含む布裏張り層を含む、又は、二軸配向ポリエステルを含むトップ層を含む、請求項18に記載のカバン外殻。
- 前記ラミネート体(110)が、加圧下で前記複数のフィルム(100)を一緒に加熱し圧縮することによって形成される、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載のカバン外殻。
- 二軸配向熱可塑性ポリマーのコア(102)と、
前記コア(102)の上側(103)及び下側(105)のうちの少なくとも一方にあり、前記コア(102)の前記熱可塑性ポリマーとは異なる熱可塑性ポリマーから構築された外層(104)と、
を含むフィルム(100)を提供することと、
約130℃以下の温度、及び、約10バール未満の圧力又は約40kN/m未満の圧力で複数のフィルム(100)を一緒にラミネートしてラミネート体(110)を形成することと、
前記ラミネート体(110)を成形してカバン外殻(120)を形成することと、
を含む、カバン外殻(120)を作製する方法。 - カバン外殻(120)を作製するための装置(240)であって、
雄型(254)と、前記雄型(254)に対して相補的な形状の雌型(258)と、前記装置(240)に導入されたラミネート体(110)を把持するためのグリップラック(264)と、を含むプレス(244)と、
型(254、258)を加熱するための、又は前記ラミネート体(110)を加熱するための、又は型(254、258)及び前記ラミネート体(110)の両方を加熱するためのヒーターアレイ(246)と、
