Claims (20)
- 板状の本体を有する導光板と、
前記導光板の平面側に向けて配置された複数の発光ユニットと、
を備え、
前記導光板は、前記本体のほぼ平坦な第1表面に量子ドット(QD)層を備えることを特徴とする直接型のバックライト。 - 前記QD層は複数のQDブロックを備え、表面における前記複数のQDブロックの各々の正投影は、前記第1表面における前記複数の発光ユニットのうちの少なくとも一つの正投影と重なっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。
- 前記導光板は、前記第1表面に複数のキャビティを備え、前記複数のキャビティの各々は前記複数のQDブロックのうちの一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のバックライト。
- 前記導光板は、前記複数のQDブロックに対し1対1の関係を持つように、前記本体のほぼ平坦な第2表面に複数のリフレクタをさらに備え、
前記第1表面における前記複数のリフレクタの各々の正投影は前記第1表面における対応する前記QDブロックの正投影を覆って、前記複数のリフレクタの各々の反射面は対応する前記QDブロックに面することを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載のバックライト。 - 前記複数の発光ユニットから離れて配置され、前記導光板の一方側に位置する光学フィルム層と、
前記導光板から離れて配置され、前記光学フィルム層の一方側に位置するカップリング構造と、
前記光学フィルム層と前記導光板の間に位置する透明接着剤層と、
をさらに備え、
透明接着剤の屈折率t0は、前記導光板の屈折率t1より大きく、前記光学フィルム層の第2屈折率t2より小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。 - 前記導光板は、前記第1表面と前記第2表面のいずれかに配置された前記カップリング構造をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項4又は5に記載のバックライト。
- 前記カップリング構造は、格子点構造、格子構造、マイクロレンズ構造又はマイクロプリズム構造であることを特徴とする請求項5又は6に記載のバックライト。
- 基板をさらに備え、
前記複数の発光ユニットは前記基板の表面に固定され、前記複数の発光ユニットの各々は前記導光板の前記第1表面に取り付けられた発光面を備えることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。 - 前記基板は透明基板であり、前記基板の第2表面には反射層が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のバックライト。
- 前記発光ユニットはマイクロ発光チップであり、前記複数の発光ユニットは前記本体の前記第1表面に接続されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。
- 前記第1表面の前記発光ユニット以外の部分は反射層に覆われていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバックライト。
- 前記発光ユニットは青色発光ダイオード(LED)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。
- 複数のQDブロックは、基材と配位子材料と散乱粒子とを備えたQD材料から作られ、
前記基材はポリエーテルイミド(PEI)と過硫酸アンモニウム(APS)を含み、前記配位子材料はエポキシ樹脂を含み、前記散乱粒子は二酸化ケイ素粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバックライト。 - 板状の本体と、
前記本体の第1表面に位置する複数のキャビティと、
前記本体に位置する複数の量子ドット(QD)ブロックと、
を備え、
前記複数のキャビティの各々は前記複数のQDブロックのうちの一つを含むことを特徴とする導光板。 - 導光板本体の発光面に配置された複数のリフレクタをさらに備え、
前記複数のQDブロックと前記複数のリフレクタは、1対1の関係を有し、
前記導光板の前記第1表面における前記複数のリフレクタの各々の正投影は前記導光板の前記第1表面における対応する前記QDブロックの正投影を覆って、前記複数のリフレクタの各々の反射面は対応する前記QDブロックに面することを特徴とする請求項14に記載の導光板。 - 前記導光板本体の複数の表面のうちの一つに配置された格子構造をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の導光板。
- 前記複数のQDブロックは、基材と配位子材料と散乱粒子とを備えたQD材料から作られ、
前記基材はポリエーテルイミド(PEI)と過硫酸アンモニウム(APS)を含み、前記配位子材料はエポキシ樹脂を含み、前記散乱粒子は二酸化ケイ素粒子を含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の導光板。 - 前記複数のQDブロックに位置するパッケージ接着剤層をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の導光板。
- 板状の本体を形成するステップと、
導光板の平面側に向ける複数の発光ユニットを形成するステップと、
を含み、
前記導光板は、前記本体のほぼ平坦な第1表面に量子ドット(QD)層を備えることを特徴とする導光板の製造方法。 - 請求項1〜13の何れか一項に記載のバックライトを備えることを特徴とする表示装置。
