前記第1の層に結合されたベント膜であって、気体は通過させるが流体は通過させないように構成された、該ベント膜と、
前記第1の層の反対側で前記ベント膜に結合された第2の層であって、該第2の層を貫通して形成された第1のチャネルを有する、該第2の層と、
前記ベント膜の反対側で前記第2の層に結合された不透過性膜と、を含み、
前記第1のチャネルは、気体が分散して含まれている流体を受け取るように構成され、
前記流体に対して圧力を加えることにより、前記流体を、前記第1のチャネルを通じて移動させるとともにベント膜に接触させ、それにより、前記気体を、前記ベント膜を通過させて排出させるように構成されたことを特徴とする気体抽出装置。 - 請求項1に記載の気体抽出装置であって、
前記第1のチャネルは、第1の端部と、前記第1の端部から離間して位置する第2の端部とを有し、
前記ベント膜は、前記第1のチャネルの前記第1の端部と流体連通された流体入口開口部を有し、
前記不透過性膜は、前記第1のチャネルの前記第2の端部と流体連通された流体出口開口部を有することを特徴とする気体抽出装置。 - 請求項2に記載の気体抽出装置であって、
前記第2の層の反対側で前記不透過性膜に結合された第3の層をさらに含み、
前記第3の層は、該第3の層を貫通して形成された第2のチャネルを有し、

前記第2のチャネルの前記第3の端部は、前記不透過性膜の前記流体出口開口部と流体連通され、

前記第2の層に形成された前記第1のチャネルは、
中心軸を中心として周方向に延びる円弧状部分と、

前記第1の層は、前記第2の層に形成された前記第1のチャネルに少なくとも部分的に対応するように構成されたスロットを有し、

前記気体抽出装置は、
前記下側取付面に結合された第1の接着層であって、前記カニューレと軸方向に整列され、前記カニューレを通じて前記流体を受け取るように構成された開口部を有する、該第1の接着層と、
前記第1の接着層に結合されたベント膜であって、気体は通過させるが流体は通過させないように構成された、該ベント膜と、
前記ベント膜に結合された不透過性膜とを含み、
前記不透過性膜及び前記ベント膜は、それらの間に第1のチャネルを画定し、
前記第1のチャネルは、前記流体を受け取るように構成され、
前記流体に対して圧力を加えることにより、前記流体を、前記第1のチャネルを通じて移動させるとともにベント膜に接触させ、それにより、前記気体を、前記ベント膜を通過させて排出させるように構成されたことを特徴とする流体送達装置。 - 請求項8に記載の流体送達装置であって、

前記液体を、前記第1の接着層の前記第1のチャネルを通じて移動させるとともにベント膜に接触させるステップと、を含み、
前記液体を前記ベント膜に接触させることにより、前記気体を、前記ベント膜を通過させて排出させることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項14に記載の方法であって、
前記液体を移動させる前記ステップは、
前記液体に対して圧力を加えるステップと、
加圧された前記液体を、前記第1のチャネルを通じて流動させるステップと、を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項15に記載の方法であって、
前記液体リザーバに付勢アセンブリを結合させるステップをさらに含み、
前記液体に対して圧力を加える前記ステップは、前記付勢アセンブリによって前記液体リザーバに対して圧力を加えるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項16に記載の方法であって、
前記付勢アセンブリは、前記液体リザーバに対して可変力を加えるように構成された第1の付勢部材及び第2の付勢部材を含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項14または15に記載の方法であって、
無菌環境の維持を容易にするために、前記気体の少なくとも一部を前記液体から内部チャンバへ排出するステップをさらに含むことを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項18に記載の方法であって、
前記気体の少なくとも一部を排出する前記ステップは、前記気体の一部を、プレナムアセンブリの取付面に形成された複数の開口部を通じて排出するステップを含み、
前記気体抽出装置は、前記取付面に結合されることを特徴とする方法。 - 請求項14、15または18に記載の方法であって、
前記液体リザーバを前記気体抽出装置に結合させる前記ステップは、
前記第1のチャネルに少なくとも部分的に対応するように構成された第2のチャネルを有する第2の接着層によって前記液体リザーバを前記気体抽出装置に結合させるステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。
