Claims (15)
- 液体を貯蔵するように構成された液体リザーバ(136)と、
電気抵抗を測定するように構成されたセンサ(156)と、
前記液体リザーバ(136)の液体を加熱して蒸気を発生するように構成された電気ヒータ(150)と、
第1端子(T3,T4)を介して前記センサ(156)の端部に連結された電子コントローラ(14,15,17)とを備え、
前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗を測定し、前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗に基づき前記液体リザーバ(136)内の液体の減少量を検出するように構成されていることを特徴とする電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、第2端子(T1,T2)を介して前記電気ヒータ(150)の端部に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。

前記電熱コイル(152)は前記ウィック(155)上の液体を加熱して蒸気を発生するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 前記液体は、プロピレングリコール(PG)、ベジタブルグリセリン(VG)、及び/若しくは、ポリエチレングリコール400(PEG400)、又は、グリコール若しくはグリセリンがベースの溶剤を含む他の有機ベース溶剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1から5の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。
- 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、第1端末(T3,T4)を介して前記センサ(156)の端部に電気的に接続する抵抗測定回路(17)を有し、
前記抵抗測定回路(17)は、第1端末(T3,T4)を介して前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗を測定するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から6の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗に基づき前記液体リザーバ(136)内の液体の減少量を検出するように構成された制御回路(14)を有していることを特徴とする請求項1から7の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。
- 前記液体リザーバ(136)、前記センサ(156)及び前記電気ヒータ(150)は、前記電子喫煙装置(10)におけるカートマイザ(100)の一部を形成し、
前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記電子喫煙装置(10)における本体(12)の一部を形成し、
前記カートマイザ(100)は、前記本体(10)に着脱可能に連結されるように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1から8の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 液体を貯蔵するように構成された液体リザーバ(136)と、
電気抵抗を測定するように構成されたセンサ(156)と、
前記液体リザーバ(136)の液体を加熱して蒸気を発生するように構成された電気ヒータ(150)と、
第1端子(T3,T4)を介して前記センサ(156)の端部に連結された電子コントローラ(14,15,17)とを備え、
前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗を測定し、前記センサ(156)の電気抵抗に基づき、前記液体リザーバ(136)内の液体が動作しきい値以上であるか否かを判定するように構成されていることを特徴とする電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、第2端子(T1,T2)を介して前記電気ヒータ(150)の端部に連結されていることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。
- 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記液体リザーバ(136)内の液体が動作しきい値以上であるか否かに基づいて蒸気を発生させるように、第2端子(T1,T2)を介して前記電気ヒータ(150)への電力供給を制御することを特徴とする請求項10又は11に記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。
- 前記電子コントローラ(14,15,17)は、前記液体リザーバ(136)内の液体が動作しきい値を下回ったことの検出に応じて、前記電気ヒータ(150)への電力供給を減らすか、及び/又は、警告信号を発生するように構成されていることを特徴とする請求項10から12の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。
- 前記液体リザーバ(136)から液体を引き出すように構成されたウィック(155)を備え、
前記センサ(156)は、前記ウィック(155)の周りに巻かれていることを特徴とする請求項10から13の何れかに記載の電子喫煙装置(10)。 - 前記液体リザーバ(136)は、軸方向に延びる中空の通過チャネル(138)を区画するリザーバハウジング(132,134)を含み、
前記リザーバハウジング(132,134)は、第1及び第2液体出口を有し、
