Abstract
Description
本明細書の添加剤および潤滑剤は、選択された防錆添加剤の多成分混合物を含む。1つのアプローチでは、本明細書の添加剤および潤滑剤は、錆性能を維持するために少なくとも3つ以上の添加剤を含む。いくつかのアプローチでは、添加剤は、任意の1つの防錆添加剤を7パーセント以下、好ましくは各添加剤より少なく有する。ただし、添加剤の選択した組み合わせと比率は、防錆と湿式ろ過性の達成に役立つ。上記のように、防錆剤混合物は、添加剤および流体が同時に少なくとも3つの化合物を含む限り、カルボキシイミダゾリンの少なくとも1つ以上、多価アルコールの部分エステルの1つ以上、アシルサルコシン化合物の1つ以上、およびそれらの混合物のブレンドを含む。各々を、以下でさらに説明する。
1つのアプローチでは、本明細書の添加剤および潤滑剤中のカルボキシ−イミダゾリン化合物は、本明細書の流体および添加剤にイミダゾリン部分を提供するアルケニルコハク酸または無水物のイミダゾリン誘導体である。イミダゾリン誘導体は、直鎖または分枝のアルキルまたはアルケニルコハク酸または無水物とアミノ置換イミダゾリンとの反応生成物であり得る。いくつかのアプローチでは、この反応生成物は、式Iの構造を有する直鎖または分岐のアルキルまたはアルケニル置換スクシンイミドまたは酸またはアミン置換イミダゾリンスクシンイミドまたは酸である
1つのアプローチでは、本明細書の添加剤および潤滑剤のための多価アルコールの部分エステルは、ポリグリセロール脂肪酸エステルまたは異なるポリグリセロール脂肪酸エステルの混合物であり得、ポリグリセロールまたは多価アルコール塩基は、8〜20個の炭素原子を有する飽和または不飽和カルボン酸の少なくとも1つから9つまでの酸基によって部分的にエステル化されたグリセロールまたはヒドロキシル単位を最大で10個含む。他のアプローチでは、多価アルコールの部分エステルは、多価アルコールのヒドロキシル基の少なくとも1つがエステル化されずにヒドロキシルとして残っているエステルである。さらに別のアプローチまたは実施形態では、グリセリン、トリメチロールエタン、トリメチロールプロパン、ペンタエリスリトールおよびソルビタンからなる群から選択される多価アルコールが好適であり得る。
1つのアプローチにおいて、本明細書の流体および潤滑剤のアシルサルコシン化合物は、式IIIのアシルN−メチルグリシンまたはその誘導体である。
1つのアプローチでは、本明細書の添加剤および流体の腐食防止剤または第4の潤滑剤添加剤は、添加剤および流体にトリアゾール部分を提供する置換ベンゾトリアゾールである。1つのアプローチでは、防止剤は、以下の式(IV)のN,N−二置換アミノメチルベンゾトリアゾールまたはN,N−二置換アミノメチル−1,2,4−トリアゾール、またはそれらの混合物であり得る。場合によっては、非置換のトリトリアゾールまたはベンゾトリアゾールを加え得る。N,N−二置換アミノメチルベンゾトリアゾールは、ベンゾトリアゾールをホルムアルデヒドおよびアミンと反応させることなどの、例えば米国特許第4,701,273号に記載されているような既知の方法によって調製することができる。N,N−二置換アミノメチル−1,2,4トリアゾール化合物は、同様に、すなわち米国特許第4,734,209号に記載されているように、1,2,4−トリアゾールをホルムアルデヒドおよびアミンと反応させることによって調製することができる。
さらに別のアプローチでは、本明細書の添加剤および潤滑剤はまた、任意選択的に、特定のコポリマー解乳化剤をさらに含み得る。1つのアプローチでは、解乳化剤成分は、ポリオキシアルキレンポリオールであり得、他のアプローチでは、液体ポリオキシアルキレンポリオールであり得る。いくつかのアプローチでは、任意のポリオキシアルキレンポリオールは、ブロックコポリマーであり、しばしばトリブロックコポリマーである。
タービン用途に関連して、上記の添加剤のブレンドは、防錆、解乳化、および高湿式ろ過を独自に提供する。例えば、かつ1つのアプローチでは、錆防止混合物によって提供されるイミダゾリンと腐食防止剤によって提供されるトリアゾールの発見された重量比は、約1:1〜2:1であり、10重量パーセント以下の予想外に性能の3つの要素(つまり、防錆、解乳化、および湿式ろ過)が同時に提供された添加剤パッケージの1つ以上のイミダゾリン誘導体を有する。他のアプローチでは、防錆混合物は、パッケージのイミダゾリン誘導体の約10重量パーセント未満を維持しながら組み合わせられた多価アルコールの部分エステルとアシルサルコシン化合物に対して約1.5〜約2.5倍のイミダゾリン誘導体を含むこともできる。
1つのアプローチでは、好適な基油は、鉱油であり、すべての一般的な鉱油ベースストックを含む。鉱油は、ナフテン系またはパラフィン系であり得る。鉱油は、酸、アルカリ、および粘土、または塩化アルミニウムなどの他の薬剤を使用する従来の方法論によって精製することができ、またはフェノール、二酸化硫黄、フルフラールまたはジクロロジエチルエーテルなどの溶媒による溶媒抽出によって生成された抽出油であってもよい。鉱油は、水素化処理または水素化精製、冷却または接触脱ろうプロセスによる脱ろう、またはSK Innovation Co.,Ltd.(ソウル、韓国)の水素化分解基油のYubase(登録商標)ファミリーなどの水素化分解が可能である。鉱油は、天然の原油から生産されるか、異性化されたワックス材料または他の精製プロセスの残留物から構成される。
本明細書の潤滑剤組成物は、流体に耐摩耗性の利点を付与し得る1つ以上のリン含有化合物を含有し得る。1つ以上のリン含有化合物は、潤滑油組成物中に、潤滑油組成物の約0重量%〜約15重量%、または約0.01重量%〜約10重量%、または約0.05重量%〜約5重量%、または約0.1重量%〜約3重量%の範囲の量で存在し得る。リン含有化合物は、最大5000ppmのリン、または約50〜約5000ppmのリン、または約300〜約1500ppmのリン、または最大600ppmのリン、または最大900ppmのリンを潤滑剤組成物に提供することができる。
潤滑剤組成物は、非リン含有化合物である耐摩耗剤も含み得る。このような耐摩耗剤の例には、ホウ酸エステル、ホウ酸エポキシド、チオカルバメート化合物(チオカルバメートエステル、アルキレン結合チオカルバメート、およびビス(S−アルキルジチオカルバミル)ジスルフィド、チオカルバメートアミド、チオカルバミン酸エーテル、アルキレンカップリングチオカルバメート、およびビス(S−アルキルジチオカルバミル)ジスルフィド、およびそれらの混合物を含む)、硫化オレフィン、アジピン酸トリデシル、チタン化合物、および酒石酸誘導体、酒石酸アミド、酒石酸イミド、クエン酸塩、などのヒドロキシルカルボン酸の長鎖誘導体およびそれらの混合物が含まれる。好適なチオカルバメート化合物は、モリブデンジチオカルバメートである。好適な酒石酸塩誘導体または酒石酸イミドは、アルキルエステル基を含有し得、アルキル基上の炭素原子の合計は少なくとも8であり得る。酒石酸塩誘導体または酒石酸イミドは、アルキルエステル基を含有し得、アルキル基の炭素原子の合計は、少なくとも8であり得る。耐摩耗剤は、一実施形態では、クエン酸塩を含むことができる。追加の耐摩耗剤は、潤滑油組成物の約0重量%〜約15重量%、または約0.01重量%〜約10重量%、または約0.05重量%〜約5重量%、または約0.1重量%〜3重量%の範囲で存在し得る。
本明細書中の潤滑油組成物はまた、任意選択的に、1つ以上の抗酸化剤を含有し得る。抗酸化化合物は既知であり、例えば、フェネート(石炭酸塩)、フェネート硫化物、硫化オレフィン、リン硫化テルペン、硫化エステル、芳香族アミン、アルキル化ジフェニルアミン(例、ノニルジフェニルアミン、ジノニルジフェニルアミン、オクチルジフェニルアミン、ジオクチルジフェニルアミン)、フェニル−アルファ−ナフチルアミン、アルキル化フェニル−アルファ−ナフチルアミン、ヒンダード非芳香族アミン、フェノール、ヒンダードフェノール、油溶性モリブデン化合物、高分子抗酸化剤、またはそれらの混合物が含まれる。抗酸化化合物は、単独でまたは組み合わせて使用され得る。
潤滑剤組成物に含有される追加の分散剤としては、分散される粒子と会合することができる官能基を有する油溶性ポリマー炭化水素骨格が挙げられ得るが、これらに限定されない。典型的には、分散剤は、しばしば架橋基を介してポリマー骨格に結合したアミン、アルコール、アミド、またはエステル極性部分を含む。分散剤は、米国特許第3,634,515号、同第3,697,574号および同第3,736,357号に記載されているようなマンニッヒ分散剤、米国特許第4,234,435号および第4,636,322号に記載されているような無灰スクシンイミド分散剤、米国特許第3,219,666号、同第3,565,804号、および同第5,633,326号に記載されているようなアミン分散剤、米国特許第5,936,041号、同5,643,859号、および第5,627,259号に記載されているようなコッホ分散剤、および米国特許第5,851,965号、同5,853,434号、および同5,792,729号に記載されているようなポリアルキレンスクシンイミド分散剤、から選択することができる。
本明細書中の潤滑剤組成物はまた、任意選択的に、1つ以上の粘度指数向上剤を含有し得る。好適な粘度指数向上剤には、ポリオレフィン、オレフィンコポリマー、エチレン/プロピレンコポリマー、ポリイソブテン、水素化スチレン−イソプレンポリマー、スチレン/マレイン酸エステルコポリマー、水素化スチレン/ブタジエンコポリマー、水素化イソプレンポリマー、α−オレフィン無水マレイン酸コポリマー、ポリメタクリレート、ポリアクリレート、ポリアルキルスチレン、水素化アルケニルアリール共役ジエンコポリマー、またはそれらの混合物が含まれ得る。粘度指数向上剤は、スターポリマーを含むことができ、好適な例は、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる米国特許出願公開第20120101017A1号に記載されている。
他の添加剤は、潤滑剤組成物に必要とされる1つ以上の機能を果たすように選択され得る。さらに、言及した添加剤の1つ以上は、多機能であり、本明細書で規定された機能に加えてまたはそれ以外の機能を提供することができる。他の添加剤は、本開示の特定の添加剤に加えてもよく、および/または金属不活性化剤、粘度指数向上剤、無灰TBNブースター、耐摩耗剤、腐食防止剤、防錆剤、分散剤、分散剤粘度指数向上剤、極圧剤、抗酸化剤、泡抑制剤、解乳化剤、乳化剤、流動点降下剤、シール膨潤剤およびそれらの混合物のうちの1つ以上を含み得る。通常、完全配合の潤滑油には、これらの添加剤が1つ以上含有するであろう。
●添加剤1:直鎖または分岐鎖ドデセニル置換コハク酸無水物と置換アミノイミダゾリンとの反応から得られるカルボキシイミダゾリン。HiTEC(登録商標)536(Afton Chemical)として入手可能である。
●添加剤2:Radiasurf(登録商標)7156として入手可能なペンタエリスリトールモノオレエート。
●添加剤3:Crodasinic(登録商標)Oとして入手可能なn−オレイルサルコシン。
●添加剤4:Irgamet(登録商標)39として入手可能なN、N−ビス(2−エチルヘキシル)−4−メチル−1H−ベンゾトリアゾール−1−メチルアミン。
●添加剤5:トリトリアゾールTT100。
●添加剤6:分子量4400g/molのポリエチレンオキシド、ポリプロピレンオキシド、ポリエチレンオキシドトリブロックコポリマーであり、Pluronic L121として入手可能である。
●添加剤7:分子量3800g/molのポリエチレンオキシド、ポリプロピレンオキシド、ポリエチレンオキシドトリブロックコポリマーであり、Pluronic(登録商標)L101として入手可能である。
●添加剤8:Irgacor(登録商標)843として入手可能な液体カルボン酸腐食防止剤。
●添加剤9:分子量3100g/molのPluronic(登録商標)25R2として入手可能であり、末端に2番目のヒドロキシル基を持つ二官能性ブロックコポリマー界面活性剤。
●その他の添加剤:酸化防止剤、耐摩耗添加剤、極圧添加剤のブレンド。
上記の実施例と同様に、比較試料を調製し、錆性能、解乳化、および湿式ろ過について評価した。組成を表10に、性能を表11に示す。
Claims (15)
- 水の存在下で防錆と高ろ過性を提供するタービン潤滑剤用のための添加剤パッケージであって、
多価アルコールの部分エステル、アシルサルコシン化合物、およびこれらの混合物から選択される添加剤と組み合わせた、アルケニルコハク酸または無水物のイミダゾリン誘導体を含む防錆混合物と、
少なくとも置換ベンゾトリアゾールから選択される腐食防止添加剤と、を含み、
前記防錆剤混合物によって提供されるイミダゾリンと前記腐食防止剤によって提供されるトリアゾールの重量比が、約1:1〜約2:1であり、前記添加剤パッケージ内の前記1つ以上のイミダゾリン誘導体が10重量パーセント以下である、添加剤パッケージ。 - 1つ以上のポリプロピレンオキシド誘導部分および1つ以上のポリエチレンオキシド誘導部分を有し、約3200g/mol〜約4300g/molの数平均分子量を有するコポリマー添加剤をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 前記添加剤パッケージが、約3〜約7重量パーセントのアルケニルコハク酸または無水物のイミダゾリン誘導体と、約0.5〜約3重量パーセントの多価アルコールの前記部分エステルと、約0.5〜約3重量パーセントの前記アシルサルコシン化合物と、約3〜8重量パーセントの前記置換ベンゾトリアゾールと、を含む請求項1に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 前記イミダゾリン誘導体が、アルケニルコハク酸または無水物とアミノ置換イミダゾリンとの反応生成物であり、および/または前記多価アルコールの部分エステルが、ペンタエリスリトールとC13〜C20不飽和脂肪酸との反応生成物であり、および/または前記アシルサルコシン化合物が、C12〜C20アシル基を有するサルコシン脂肪酸から選択される、請求項1に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 前記添加剤パッケージが、約0.02〜約1重量パーセントの前記コポリマー添加剤を含む、請求項2に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 前記アシルサルコシン化合物が、ラウロイルサルコシン、コシルサルコシン、オレ油サルコシン、ステアロイルサルコシン、トール油アシルサルコシン、およびそれらの混合物から選択される、請求項4に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 前記添加剤パッケージ中に7重量パーセント以下の前記イミダゾリン誘導体を有し、および/または前記防錆混合物が、組み合わされた多価アルコールの前記部分エステルと前記アシルサルコシン化合物と比較して、約1.5〜約2.5倍多い前記イミダゾリン誘導体を含む、請求項1に記載の添加剤パッケージ。
- 水の存在下で防錆と高ろ過性を提供するタービン潤滑剤であって、
グループI、グループII、またはグループIIIの油、またはそれらのブレンドから選択される潤滑粘度の基油と、
式Iの化合物を含む第1の潤滑剤添加剤であって、
式IIの化合物を含む第2の潤滑剤添加剤であって、
式IIIの化合物を含む第3の潤滑剤添加剤であって、
式IVの化合物を含む第4の潤滑剤添加剤であって、
前記タービン潤滑剤が、前記第1の潤滑剤添加剤によって提供されるイミダゾリンと第4の潤滑剤添加剤によって提供されるトリアゾールの重量比が、約1:1〜約2:1を有し、前記第1の潤滑剤添加剤が、0.1重量パーセント以下である、タービン潤滑剤。 - 約3400g/mol未満の総分子量を有する1つ以上のポリプロピレンオキシド誘導部分と、約5〜約15パーセントの1つ以上のポリエチレンオキシド誘導部分と、を有するコポリマーをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
- 前記タービン潤滑剤が、約0.01〜約0.05重量パーセントの前記第1の潤滑剤添加剤と、約0.005〜約0.1重量パーセントの前記第2の潤滑剤添加剤と、約0.005〜約0.1重量パーセントの前記第3の潤滑剤添加剤と、約0.01〜約0.07重量パーセントの前記第4の潤滑剤添加剤と、を含み、および/または、前記タービン潤滑剤が、約0.001〜約0.01重量パーセントのコポリマーを含む、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
- 前記第1の潤滑剤添加剤が、0.05重量パーセント以下を有し、および/または前記タービン潤滑剤が、前記組み合わされた第2および第3の潤滑剤添加剤に対して約1.5〜約2.5倍多い前記第1の潤滑剤添加剤を含む、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
- 前記タービン潤滑剤が、ISO13357−1による約70パーセント以上のステージIIのろ過性を示す、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
- 前記基油が、グループIおよびグループIIの基油のブレンドを含み、約30〜約100cStのKV40を有する、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
- 前記タービン潤滑剤が、約0.12〜約0.35重量パーセントの前記組み合わされた第1、第2、第3、および第4の潤滑剤添加剤を含む、請求項8に記載のタービン潤滑剤。
