Claims (14)
- 支持体と、前記支持体上に形成されたゼオライト膜とを備えるゼオライト膜複合体の製造の際に、前記支持体上に付着させるゼオライトの種結晶であって、
レーザ回折散乱法により測定された体積累積粒度分布における変動係数および尖度はそれぞれ、0.5以下および5以下であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項1に記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
前記変動係数および前記尖度はそれぞれ、0.4以下および3以下であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項1または2に記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
前記種結晶にX線を照射して得られるX線回折パターンにおいて、回折角2θ=12°〜25°の範囲にて最大ピークを示す回折角2θにおける結晶成分による強度は、アモルファス成分による強度の35倍以上であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項1ないし3のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
比表面積は10m2/g以上かつ150m2/g以下であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項1ないし4のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
前記支持体は多孔質であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項5に記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
前記体積累積粒度分布における50%径は、前記支持体の体積累積細孔径分布における50%径の1.1倍以上かつ5倍以下であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 請求項1ないし6のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライトの種結晶であって、
前記支持体は、アルミナ焼結体またはムライト焼結体であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶。 - 支持体と、前記支持体上に形成されたゼオライト膜とを備えるゼオライト膜複合体の製造の際に、前記支持体上に付着させるゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法であって、
a)水熱合成にてゼオライトの原結晶群を生成し、前記原結晶群から中間結晶群を取得する工程と、
b)前記中間結晶群から、レーザ回折散乱法により体積累積粒度分布における変動係数および尖度がそれぞれ0.5以下および5以下であると判定される結晶群を種結晶として取得する工程と、
を備えることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法。 - 請求項8に記載のゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法であって、
前記b)工程において、前記種結晶は、前記中間結晶群から抽出された一部の結晶群であることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法。 - 請求項9に記載のゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法であって、
前記b)工程において、前記種結晶は、前記中間結晶群を遠心分離によって分級することにより抽出されることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法。 - 請求項8ないし10のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法であって、
前記a)工程は、
a1)水熱合成にて前記原結晶群を生成する工程と、
a2)前記原結晶群を粉砕する工程と、
a3)前記a2)工程にて粉砕された前記原結晶群を再結晶化させることにより前記中間結晶群を取得する工程と、
を備えることを特徴とするゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法。 - ゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法であって、
d)支持体を準備する工程と、
e)請求項8ないし11のいずれか1つに記載のゼオライトの種結晶の製造方法により製造された種結晶を、前記支持体上に付着させることにより種結晶付着支持体を製造する工程と、
f)前記種結晶付着支持体を原料溶液に浸漬し、水熱合成により前記種結晶からゼオライトを成長させて前記支持体上にゼオライト膜を形成する工程と、
を備えることを特徴とするゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法。 - 分離方法であって、
g)請求項12に記載のゼオライト膜複合体の製造方法により製造されたゼオライト膜複合体を準備する工程と、
h)複数種類のガスまたは液体を含む混合物質を前記ゼオライト膜複合体に供給し、前記混合物質中の透過性が高い物質を、前記ゼオライト膜複合体を透過させることにより他の物質から分離する工程と、
を備えることを特徴とする分離方法。 - 請求項13に記載の分離方法であって、
前記混合物質は、水素、ヘリウム、窒素、酸素、水、水蒸気、一酸化炭素、二酸化炭素、窒素酸化物、アンモニア、硫黄酸化物、硫化水素、フッ化硫黄、水銀、アルシン、シアン化水素、硫化カルボニル、C1〜C8の炭化水素、有機酸、アルコール、メルカプタン類、エステル、エーテル、ケトンおよびアルデヒドのうち、1種類以上の物質を含むことを特徴とする分離方法。
