Description
そして、気体溶解装置は、培養槽に貯留された培養液の一部を貯留する溶解槽と、培養槽と溶解槽との間を連通する第1循環パイプ及び第2循環パイプと、第1循環パイプを介して培養槽に貯留されている培養液を溶解槽に注入する第1ポンプと、第2循環パイプを介して溶解槽に貯留されている培養液を培養槽に返送する第2ポンプと、二酸化炭素供給源に連結され、溶解槽に貯留されている培養液に差し込まれた先端から二酸化炭素を放出する気体供給パイプと、気体供給パイプの先端に設けられ、先端から放出される二酸化炭素を気泡にする気体放出部と、気体供給パイプを流れる二酸化炭素の流量を制御する気体制御部と、を備えている。
さらに、気体放出部から溶解槽に貯留された培養液の液面までの水深を、培養槽に貯留された培養液の水深よりも深く設定している。
実施例1の藻類培養装置1は、微細藻類を人工的に培養する装置であり、図1に示すように、培養槽2と、気体溶解装置3と、を備えている。

この図4A及び図4Bに現れる関係から、気泡サイズは、小さい方が溶解効率が高くなり、好ましいことがわかる。さらに、水深H2は450mm以上であれば、気体溶解装置3として好ましい性能(溶解効率50%以上)を発揮することがわかる。そこで、実施例1では、溶解槽10に貯留した培養液100の液面10aまでの水深H2を450mm以上に設定した。これにより、気体溶解装置3として必要な二酸化炭素の溶解効率を確保することができる。

Claims (8)
- メイン槽に貯留された液体の一部を貯留する溶解槽と、
気体供給源に連結され、前記溶解槽に貯留されている液体に差し込まれた先端から気体を放出する気体供給パイプと、
前記気体供給パイプの先端に設けられ、前記先端から放出される気体を気泡にする気体放出部と、
前記気体供給パイプを流れる気体の流量を制御する気体制御部と、を備え、
前記気体放出部から前記溶解槽に貯留された液体の液面までの水深を、前記メイン槽に貯留された液体の水深よりも深く設定している
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項1に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記メイン槽に貯留されている液体を前記溶解槽に注入する第1循環パイプを備え、
前記第1循環パイプの液体吐出口は、前記気体放出部よりも上方に設けられている
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項1又は請求項2に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記溶解槽に貯留されている液体を前記メイン槽に返送する第2循環パイプを備え、
前記第2循環パイプの液体取込口は、前記気体放出部よりも下方に設けられている
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記溶解槽に貯留されている液体のpH値を監視するpH監視部を備え、
前記気体制御部は、前記pH監視部による監視結果に基づいて、前記気体供給パイプを流れる気体の流量を制御する
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項4に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記pH監視部は、前記溶解槽に連通したモニタリング槽と、前記モニタリング槽に貯留された液体のpHを測定するpHセンサと、を有する
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項5に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記モニタリング槽は、このモニタリング槽に貯留された液体の液面の高さ位置が、前記溶解槽に貯留された液体の液面の高さ位置に一致する位置に設置されている
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載された気体溶解装置において、
前記溶解槽は、底部に液体排出開口が形成され、
前記液体排出開口には、開閉弁を有する排出パイプが接続されている
ことを特徴とする気体溶解装置。 - 藻類を培養する培養液を貯留する培養槽と、前記培養液に二酸化炭素を溶解させる気体溶解装置と、を備えた藻類培養装置において、
前記気体溶解装置は、
前記培養槽に貯留された培養液の一部を貯留する溶解槽と、
前記培養槽と前記溶解槽との間を連通する第1循環パイプ及び第2循環パイプと、
前記第1循環パイプを介して前記培養槽に貯留されている培養液を前記溶解槽に注入する第1ポンプと、
前記第2循環パイプを介して前記溶解槽に貯留されている培養液を前記培養槽に返送する第2ポンプと、
二酸化炭素供給源に連結され、前記溶解槽に貯留されている培養液に差し込まれた先端から二酸化炭素を放出する気体供給パイプと、
前記気体供給パイプの先端に設けられ、前記先端から放出される二酸化炭素を気泡にする気体放出部と、
前記気体供給パイプを流れる二酸化炭素の流量を制御する気体制御部と、を備え、
前記気体放出部から前記溶解槽に貯留された培養液の液面までの水深を、前記培養槽に貯留された培養液の水深よりも深く設定している
