Abstract
Description
本願は、米国仮特許出願第61/814516号(名称"Coaptation Ultrasound Devices and Methods of Use"、2013年4月22日に米国特許商標庁へ出願)をベースとしており、その優先権を主張する。その明細書は、参照によりここに全体として組み込まれる。

Claims (25)
- 患者身体内で細長い医療部材を操作するためのシステムであって、
貫通する開口を有し、そこに超音波プローブのヘッドを受け入れるように構成された超音波プローブアダプタと、
遠位端および近位端を有する細長い医療部材とを備え、
前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端はさらに、エコー発生ヘッドを含み、
前記超音波プローブアダプタおよび前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端の各々は、前記超音波プローブアダプタおよび前記エコー発生ヘッドが、患者身体上の少なくとも1つの組織表面の対向側に位置決めされた場合、前記超音波プローブアダプタと前記エコー発生ヘッドとの間の調和運動を可能にするのに充分な磁力で、互いに向かう磁気引力のために構成されている、システム。 - 前記超音波プローブアダプタはさらに、前記開口に近接して位置決めされた第1磁気部材を少なくとも備える請求項1記載のシステム。
- 前記第1磁気部材は、前記超音波プローブアダプタ内に取り外し可能に位置決めされる請求項2記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い医療部材はさらに、前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端内に位置決めされた第2磁気部材を少なくとも備える請求項2記載のシステム。
- 前記第2磁気部材は、前記エコー発生ヘッドの内側に位置決めされる請求項4記載のシステム。
- 前記エコー発生ヘッドはさらに、バルーンを備える請求項5記載のシステム。
- 前記第1磁気部材は、前記超音波プローブアダプタでの前記開口の第1側に位置決めされ、前記第2磁気部材は、前記バルーンの第1側に位置決めされ、

を備える、請求項6記載のシステム。 - 前記第1および第3磁気部材は、前記第2および第4磁気部材が互いに離れた距離と等しい距離だけ、互いに離れている請求項7記載のシステム。
- 前記第1磁気部材および前記第2磁気部材は、前記細長い医療部材を前記アダプタの底面に向けて引き寄せるように配向した磁界を有する請求項4記載のシステム。
- 前記細長い医療部材はさらに、移動可能に搭載されたスネアを有する導管と、
前記導管の近位端に近接したスネアオペレータと、
前記導管の遠位端にあるスネア閉鎖セクションとを備える請求項1記載のシステム。 - 前記スネアの前記閉鎖セクションは、前記エコー発生ヘッドの内側に位置決めされる請求項10記載のシステム。
- 患者身体内で細長い医療部材を設置し操作するための方法であって、
近位端および遠位端を有する細長い医療部材を用意するステップであって、前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端は、エコー発生ヘッドおよび第1磁気部材を有する、ステップと、
超音波プローブアダプタを用意するステップであって、前記超音波プローブアダプタは、貫通する開口を有し、そこに超音波プローブのヘッドおよびアダプタ磁気部材を受け入れるように構成される、ステップと、
前記細長い医療部材を患者身体の中に挿入するステップと、
前記超音波プローブアダプタを、前記患者身体の外側表面の上で前記細長い医療部材の前記近位端にほぼ近接した場所に設置するステップと、
前記導管磁気部材を前記第1磁気部材に磁気的に引き寄せるように、前記超音波プローブアダプタを前記患者身体の上に位置決めするステップと、
超音波プローブを、前記超音波プローブアダプタを通って延びる前記開口内に設置するステップと、
前記アダプタと整列した前記細長い医療部材の前記近位端の位置を視覚的に確認するステップとを含む方法。 - 前記エコー発生ヘッドはさらに、バルーンを備え、
前記超音波プローブを前記開口内に設置する前に、前記バルーンを膨張させるステップをさらに含む請求項12記載の方法。 - カテーテルを、前記患者身体の一部を通って前記バルーンの中に挿入しつつ、前記バルーンは前記超音波プローブアダプタに磁気的に引き寄せられるステップをさらに含む請求項13記載の方法。
- ガイドワイヤを、前記カテーテルを通して挿入し、前記バルーン内でスネアを捕捉するステップをさらに含む請求項14記載の方法。
- 前記スネアを閉じるステップをさらに含む請求項15記載の方法。
- 前記スネアを引き出して、前記ガイドワイヤを、前記患者身体の一部を通して引くステップをさらに含む請求項16記載の方法。
- 患者身体内で細長い医療部材を設置するためのキットであって、
貫通する開口を有し、そこに超音波プローブのヘッドを受け入れるように構成された超音波プローブアダプタと、
遠位端および近位端を有する細長い医療部材と、
前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端への装着のために構成された複数のエコー発生ヘッドとを備え、
前記超音波プローブアダプタおよび前記細長い医療部材の前記遠位端の各々は、前記超音波プローブアダプタおよび前記エコー発生ヘッドの1つが、患者身体上の少なくとも1つの組織表面の対向側に位置決めされた場合、前記超音波プローブアダプタと前記エコー発生ヘッドの1つとの間の調和運動を可能にするのに充分な磁力で、互いに向かう磁気引力のために構成されている、キット。 - 前記超音波プローブアダプタはさらに、前記開口に近接して位置決めされた第1磁気部材を少なくとも備える請求項18記載のキット。
- 前記第1磁気部材は、前記超音波プローブアダプタ内に取り外し可能に位置決めされる請求項19記載のキット。
- 前記エコー発生ヘッドの各々の内部に挿入されるサイズを有する第2磁気部材を少なくともさらに備える請求項19記載のキット。
