Description

The present invention relates to a package for packing a sheet feeding device mounted on an image forming apparatus.

When a product such as a sheet feeding device to be mounted on the image forming apparatus is shipped from a factory, it is packed in a packing body to prevent damage due to vibration and impact during transportation. A cushioning material is provided in the package.

FIG. 7 is an exploded perspective view of the package described in Patent Document 1. As shown in FIG. 7, the package 200 includes a cylindrical or box-shaped packaging box 103 (cylindrical body) having an open bottom, a base member 102, and a cushioning material 105. Pack. These members are integrated by engaging the joint member 106 with the engaging hole 102a of the base member 102 and the engaging hole 103b of the packaging box 103.

On the side surface of the packaging box 103, an engagement piece 103a that can be bent inward is provided. When the engagement piece 103a is bent, the engagement piece 103a is engaged with the groove 105a formed in the cushioning material 105 by being hooked. With such a configuration, the packaging box 103 holds the cushioning material 105 with the engagement pieces 103a, and when removing the packaging box 103 at the time of unpacking, the cushioning material 105 can be removed together.

However, in the configuration described in Patent Literature 1, it is necessary to repeat bending and stretching of the engaging pieces 103a of the packaging box 103 in order to reuse the packing material. In this case, there is a possibility that the engaging piece 103a of the packaging box 103 may be broken due to fatigue.

Therefore, the present invention has been made in view of such a current situation, and an object of the present invention is to provide a package in which a tubular body and a cushioning material are unpacked at the same time and which can be easily reused.

Next, the configuration of the upper cushioning member 30 will be described in detail.

As shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, the cushioning members 34a to 34d are formed with a slit 34x and a chamfered chamfered portion 34z. The connecting member 35 has a first bent portion 35a (a first bent portion) having one end bent downward, and a second bent portion 35b (a second bent portion) having the other end bent downward. ) Is formed. The first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b face each other via the sheet feeding device 100.

The first bent portion 35a is provided with slits 34x (first engagement portions) formed in buffer members 34a and 34c (first buffer members) mounted on two adjacent corners of the upper surface 100a of the sheet feeding device 100. Is fitted (engaged). The second bent portion 35b is formed with slits 34x (second engagement portions) formed in cushioning members 34b and 34d (second cushioning members) attached to two adjacent corners of the upper surface 100a of the sheet feeding device 100, respectively. ). Thus, the four cushioning members 34 are connected. Further, by adjusting the bent portion of the connecting member 35, the interval between the cushioning members 34a and 34c and the cushioning members 34b and 34d can be defined.

That is, the coupling member 35 is engaged with the first bent portion 35a bent to engage with the slit 34x formed in the cushioning members 34a and 34c and the slit 34x formed in the cushioning members 34b and 34d. It has a bent second bent portion 35b. The first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b face each other via the sheet feeding device 100 in a bent state. The cushioning members 34b and 34d are attached to corners different from the corners where the cushioning members 34a and 34c are attached.

<Packing method>
Next, a method for packing the packing body 50 will be described.

When packing with the packing body 50, first, the two cushioning materials 21 of the lower cushioning material 20 are placed on the base member 11 so as to face each other. Next, the intermediate member 23 is placed at a position between the two cushioning members 21.

Next, the sheet feeding device 100 is packaged in the packaging bag 41. Thereafter, the cushioning materials 21 a and 21 b are mounted on the bottom surface 100 b of the packaged sheet feeding device 100, and the sheet feeding device 100 is placed on the lower cushioning material 20.

Next, the four cushioning members 34 of the upper cushioning member 30 are respectively mounted so as to cover the four corners of the upper surface 100a of the sheet feeding device 100. Thereafter, the connecting member 35 is bent in accordance with the interval between the four cushioning members 34 to form the first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b. Then, the first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b are fitted into the slits 34x of the cushioning material 34.

Next, the packaging box 42 is covered from above with the opened part of the packaging box 42 facing downward. That is, the packaging box 42 is packed in the packaging bag 41 and accommodates the sheet feeding device 100 in a state where the lower cushioning material 20 and the upper cushioning material 30 are mounted. Here, since the chamfered portion 34z is formed in the cushioning material 34, the packaging box 42 is easily covered from above. Thus, the packing operation is completed.

<Power to work on the package>
Next, the force acting on the package 50 in the packaged state will be described.

FIG. 4 is a cross-sectional view of the package 50 in a state where the sheet feeding device 100 is packaged. As shown in FIG. 4, in a state where the sheet feeding device 100 is packed, the four cushioning materials 34 attached to the sheet feeding device 100 are the inner surface of the top plate 42 b of the packaging box 42 and the inner surface of the side plate 42 a. Are set to contact each other.

Here, in the connecting member 35, an elastic force is exerted on the first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b to open the bent portion.

As shown in FIG. 1, the distance between the contact surfaces of the cushioning members 34a and 34c with the side plate 42a and the contact surfaces of the cushioning members 34b and 34d with the side plate 42a is defined as D2. The distance between the inner surfaces of the opposing side plates 42a of the packaging box 42, and the distance between the contact surfaces of the packaging boxes 42 with the cushioning materials 34a, 34c and the cushioning materials 34b, 34d is D1. At this time, when D1 <D2, when the packaging box 42 is put on, the portion between the first bent portion 35a and the second bent portion 35b of the connecting member 35 is bent in the vertical direction, and the bent portion returns to the original position. The elastic force which tries to work works.

The elastic force of these connecting members 35 acts as a force for pressing the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42 outward through the cushioning material 34. Although it is difficult to cover the packaging box 42 when D1 <D2, this can be solved by increasing the size of the chamfered portion 34z of the cushioning material 34.

Further, with the mounting of the upper cushioning material 30 and the lower cushioning material 20 to the sheet feeding device 100, a portion 41a between the portion of the packaging bag 41 where the lower cushioning material 20 contacts and the portion where the upper cushioning material 30 contacts is provided. , Tension is generated by both. This tension acts as a force for pressing the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42 outward through the cushioning material 34.

That is, the elastic force of the connecting member 35 and the tension of the packaging bag 41 act as a force F1 (FIG. 4) for pressing the cushioning material 34 against the packaging box 42. That is, the cushioning material 34 is pressed against the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42 by this force F1. On the other hand, since the cushioning member 34 is mounted on the sheet feeding device 100, a force F2 (FIG. 4) of the cushioning member 34 pressing the sheet feeding device 100 via the packaging bag 41 also acts somewhat. However, the force F2 is smaller than the force F1.

Therefore, comparing the maximum static frictional force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42: fmax1 = μ1 × F1 and the maximum static frictional force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging bag 41: fmax2 = μ2 × F2, fmax1> fmax2. Here, μ1 is a coefficient of friction between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42. μ2 is a coefficient of friction between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging bag 41.

By pressing the cushioning material 34 against the packaging box 42 in this way, the frictional force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42 is increased, and the upper cushioning material 30 is held by the packaging box 42. Therefore, when removing the packaging box 42 from the sheet feeding device 100 when unpacking the package 50, the upper cushioning member 30 can be removed together with the packaging box 42.

Note that, in general, cardboard has a higher coefficient of friction than plastic bags. The actual measured value of the friction coefficient between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42 used in the present embodiment is μ1 = 0.31, and the measured value of the frictional coefficient between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging bag 41 is μ2 = 0. .21. However, when a plastic cardboard packaging box 42 is used, since the main material of the plastic cardboard is polypropylene, the coefficient of friction between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42 is Coefficient of friction between them. Even in this case, fmax1, which is the maximum static friction force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42, is the maximum static frictional force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging bag 41 in order to satisfy the relationship of F1> F2 described above. It becomes larger than fmax2 (fmax1> fmax2). Therefore, when the packaging box 42 is removed, the upper cushioning material 30 is removed together, and the packaging bag 41 remains.

Further, since the cushioning material 34 is held in the packaging box 42 by the above-described frictional force, when the upper cushioning material 30 is removed from the packaging box 42 or when the packaging box 42 is put on again, These operations can be performed without bending the cushioning material 30. Therefore, the packaging box 42 and the upper cushioning material 30 are less likely to be fatigued, and are easier to reuse than conventional configurations. As described above, according to the configuration of the present embodiment, the packaging box 42 and the upper cushioning material 30 can be unpacked at the same time, and the package 50 can be easily reused.

Regarding the direction in which the packaging box 42 is removed, the contact distance between the cushioning material 34 and the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42 is L1 (FIG. 4), and the sheet feeding apparatus 100 via the cushioning material 34 and the packaging bag 41. Is L2 (FIG. 4). At this time, it is preferable that L1> L2. In the present embodiment, L1 = 110 mm and L2 = 60 mm. As a result, even when the above-mentioned forces F1 and F2 are substantially equal and the relationship between the friction coefficients is substantially the same, the contact distances L1 and L2 are reduced at the same pace when the packaging box 42 is removed, and finally the cushioning is achieved. The material 34 comes into contact with the packaging box 42. Therefore, it becomes easy to hold the cushioning material 34 in the packaging box 42.

After unpacking, after removing the packaging box 42, the sheet feeding device 100 in the packaging bag 41 is lifted and removed from the lower cushioning material 20. Thereafter, the packaging bag 41 is removed from the sheet feeding device 100. This completes unpacking. When collecting the package 50, the packaging bag 41 is placed on the lower cushioning material 20, and the packaging box 42 holding the upper cushioning material 30 is covered and collected.

(2nd Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the package according to the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. The same parts as those in the first embodiment will be denoted by the same drawings and the same reference numerals, and description thereof will be omitted.

5 and 6 are a perspective view of the upper cushioning material 30 according to the present embodiment and a perspective view of the cushioning material 34 of the upper cushioning material 30. As shown in FIG. 5 and FIG. 6, in addition to the configuration of the first embodiment, slits 34y cut out in a direction orthogonal to the slits 34x are formed in the cushioning members 34a to 34d. That is, the slits 34x and 34y are formed in the four cushioning members 34, respectively.

The upper cushioning member 30 has a second connecting member 36 in addition to the configuration of the first embodiment. The second connecting member 36 is formed of a packaging material such as a corrugated board including plastic cardboard. Note that the package 50 according to the present embodiment is different from the first embodiment only in the configuration of the upper cushioning material 30. Specifically, a point in which a slit 34y is formed and the second connecting member 36 are different. Only the point provided is different.

The second connecting member 36 has a third bent portion 36a (a third bent portion) having one end bent downward, and a fourth bent portion 36b (a fourth bent portion) having the other end bent downward. Part) is formed. The third bent portion 36a and the fourth bent portion 36b face each other via the sheet feeding device 100.

The third bent portion 36a is a slit 34y (third engaging portion) formed in buffer materials 34a and 34b (fourth buffer material) mounted on two adjacent corners of the upper surface 100a of the sheet feeding device 100. Is fitted (engaged). The fourth bent portion 36b is formed with slits 34y (fourth engaging portions) formed in buffer members 34c and 34d (fifth buffer members) mounted on two adjacent corners of the upper surface 100a of the sheet feeding device 100, respectively. ). Thus, the four cushioning members 34 are connected. Further, by adjusting the bent portion of the second connecting member 36, the interval between the cushioning members 34a and 34b and the cushioning members 34c and 34d can be defined. The connecting member 35 and the second connecting member 36 are arranged so as to overlap.

That is, the second connecting member 36 engages with the third bent portion 36a bent so as to engage with the slit 34y formed on the cushioning members 34a and 34b, and with the slit 34y formed on the cushioning members 34c and 34d. And a fourth bent portion 36b bent as described above. The third bent portion 36a and the fourth bent portion 36b face each other via the sheet feeding device 100 in a bent state. The cushioning members 34c and 34d are attached to corners different from the corners where the cushioning members 34a and 34b are attached.

Here, the same elastic force acting on the connecting member 35 described in the first embodiment acts on the second connecting member 36. That is, the elastic force of the second connecting member 36 acts as a force for pressing the cushioning material 34 against the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42, and the cushioning material 34 is moved by this force against the inner surface of the side plate 42a of the packaging box 42. Pressing with even stronger force.

By providing the second connecting member 36 in addition to the connecting member 35 in this way, the frictional force between the cushioning material 34 and the packaging box 42 is further increased. Accordingly, the strength of the packaging box 42 holding the cushioning material 34 is increased, and the upper cushioning material 30 is easily removed together with the packaging box 42 when the package 50 is unpacked.

In the first embodiment and the second embodiment, the sheet feeding device 100 is described as an example of the object to be packed of the package 50, but the present invention is not limited to this. That is, as long as the upper surface has a substantially square shape and a member having a bottom surface area larger than the upper surface area is packed, the same effect as described above can be obtained even if another article is used as the article to be packed.
