- 支持面と、
スロットダイであって、スロットダイの下面に形成されるスロットと連通する内部キャビティを有する、スロットダイと、
該スロットダイを支持するキャリッジであって、移動方向における前記支持面に亘る並びに前記支持面より上の前記スロットダイの移動を可能にするように配置されるキャリッジと、
前記移動方向における前記キャリッジの前記移動を駆動するように配置される駆動機構と、
前記支持面と前記スロットダイとの間の構造領域に放射線を選択的に投射する投射ユニットと、
少なくとも前記駆動機構を制御するように構成されるコントローラとを含み、
前記スロットダイ及び前記支持面は、前記スロットダイと前記支持面との間で分離方向において相対的に移動可能である、
添加物製造装置。 - 前記スロットダイは、前記スロットを定める前記スロットダイの少なくとも一部分を加熱する加熱ユニットを備える、請求項1に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記スロットは、2つのスロット半体によって定められ、前記スロットダイは、前記スロットの縁を互いに対して振動させる振動器を備える、請求項1又は2に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 当該添加物製造装置は、前記構造領域から熱を除去する冷却ユニットを備える、請求項1乃至3のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記冷却ユニットは、ガス源に接続可能であり、前記構造領域に向かってガスを吹き付けるように構成される、少なくとも1つのガス供給ポートを含む、請求項4に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記スロットは、スロット配向方向に向けられ、前記移動方向は、前記スロット配向方向に対して垂直である、請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記分離方向は、前記スロットの配向方向及び前記移動方向のそれぞれに対して垂直である、請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記支持面は平坦であり、前記分離方向に対して垂直な平面を定める、請求項1乃至7のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記平面は、前記スロットの配向方向及び前記移動方向と平行である、請求項8に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 当該添加物製造装置は、構造材料の貯槽に接続可能なポンプを含み、前記スロットダイは、前記ポンプに接続される入口ポートを有する、請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記コントローラは、前記ポンプを制御して、前記構造材料を所定の速度で押し出させる、ように構成される、請求項10に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記コントローラは、押出の容積流量及び前記キャリッジの移動速度を互いに比例して制御する、ように構成される、請求項1乃至11のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記コントローラは、押出の線形速度及び前記キャリッジの移動速度が互いに等しくなるように制御する、ように構成される、請求項1乃至12のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記投射ユニットは、放射線ビームを生成する放射源と、前記放射線ビームをパターン化するために前記放射線ビームによって照明されるパターニングユニットと、前記パターンの画像を前記支持面と前記スロットダイとの間に定められる平面に投射して該平面に放射を選択的に適用する投射光学とを含む、請求項1乃至13のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記パターニングユニットは、空間光変調器である、請求項14に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記パターニングユニットは、デジタル光プロセッサである、請求項15に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記投射ユニットは、放射線ビームを生成する放射源と、前記支持面と前記スロットダイとの間に定められる平面に亘る前記放射線ビームを走査して前記平面に放射を選択的に適用する走査光学とを含む、請求項1乃至13のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記放射線ビームは、断続的な放射線ビームであり、前記走査は、放射をラスタ画像として前記平面に選択的に適用するためにある、請求項17に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記走査は、放射をベクトル画像として前記平面に選択的に適用するためにある、請求項17に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記放射線ビームは、電子ビームである、請求項17乃至19のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記放射は、紫外光放射又は可視光放射である、請求項1乃至19のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 当該添加物製造装置は、井戸と、エレベータ機構とを含み、前記支持面は、前記エレベータ機構によって、前記分離方向において前記井戸内に移動可能である、請求項1乃至21のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記井戸は、内壁を有し、前記支持面は、前記内壁を封止する縁シールを備える、請求項22に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記井戸の頂部は、前記井戸の前記頂部から離れる方向に下向きに傾斜する傾斜面によって取り囲まれる、請求項22又は23に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記井戸は、前記井戸の壁を冷却する1つ又はそれよりも多くの冷却要素を備える、請求項22乃至24のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記支持面は、前記支持面から熱を除去する1つ又はそれよりも多くの冷却要素を備える、請求項1乃至25のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記1つ又はそれよりも多くの冷却要素は、冷却源に接続可能であり、冷媒を運ぶように構成される、チャネルを含む、請求項26に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記1つ又はそれよりも多くの冷却要素は、熱電冷却器を含む、請求項26又は27に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記井戸は、一定の断面を有し、前記支持面は、前記井戸の前記断面に対応する形状を有する、請求項1乃至28のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記井戸の断面は、長方形である、請求項1乃至29のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記駆動機構に従って前記投射ユニットを制御して、一連の異なる部分画像を異なる時に前記支持面に亘って投射する、ように構成され、各部分画像は、1つ又はそれよりも多くの他の部分画像とオーバーラップする、請求項1乃至30のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記制御ユニットは、各部分画像が隔離されたピクセルを含むように、並びに前記部分画像がオーバーラップさせられるときに前記隔離されたピクセルが前記複数の部分画像のうちの他の部分画像によって接続されるように、前記投射ユニットを制御する、ように構成される、請求項1乃至31のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記制御ユニットは、前記部分画像の各々が、前記複数の画像の残余の1つ又はそれよりも多くのパターンと組み合わさるパターンを有して、均一な被照射領域を形成するように、前記投射ユニットを制御する、ように構成される、請求項1乃至32のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記パターンは、疑似乱数パターンである、請求項33に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記パターンは、チェッカー盤パターンである、請求項33に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記粘着性の構造材料は、放射線硬化性液体媒体内の粒子材料の懸濁液である、請求項1乃至35のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記液体媒体は、重合可能である、請求項36に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記粒子材料は、セラミックであり、任意的に、窒化物、酸化物又は炭化物セラミックである、請求項36又は37に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記粒子材料は、金属粉末である、請求項36又は37に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記粒子材料は、5ミクロン未満の、任意的に、2ミクロン未満の、平均直径を有する、請求項36乃至39のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記放射線硬化性液体媒体は、紫外光硬化性又は可視光硬化性である、請求項36乃至40のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記放射線硬化性液体媒体は、電子ビーム硬化性である、請求項36乃至40のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記投射ユニットは、10ミクロンより良い解像度を備える画像を投射する、ように構成される、請求項1乃至42のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記投射ユニットは、更なるキャリッジによって支持され、該更なるキャリッジは、前記移動方向及び前記移動方向に対して垂直な横方向における前記支持面に亘る並びに前記支持面より上の前記投射ユニットの投射位置の移動を可能にするように構成され、当該添加物製造装置は、前記移動方向及び前記横方向における前記更なるキャリッジの前記移動を駆動するように構成される、請求項1乃至43のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記投射ユニットの投射領域にガスを供給するためのガスフードを更に含む、請求項1乃至44のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、前記投射ユニットから懸架されている、請求項45に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、前記支持面から離れる方向に後退可能である、請求項45又は46に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、前記投射ユニットから投射される前記放射の少なくとも一部分を実質的に取り囲むように配置される、請求項45乃至47のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、前記投射領域に面するように配置される下方開口を有する、請求項45乃至48のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、前記投射ユニットから投射される前記放射が通過することを可能にする上方開口を有する、請求項45乃至49のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記上方開口は、放射線透過板を備える、請求項50に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードの上部は、前記投射ユニットから投射される前記放射線が通過するのを可能にするよう放射線を透過する、請求項45乃至49のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、不活性ガスを供給するように構成される、請求項45乃至52のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 前記ガスフードは、冷却ガスを供給するように構成される、請求項49乃至53のうちのいずれか1項に記載の添加物製造装置。
- 順次式に堆積させられる構造材料の層から物体を形成する方法であって、
押し出される構造材料の層を支持面より上に堆積させるために移動方向において前記支持面に亘って並びに前記支持面より上でスロットダイを相対的に移動させながら、前記スロットダイを用いて前記支持面より上に放射線硬化性の構造材料を押し出す、ステップと、
前記支持面と前記スロットダイとの間の構造領域に放射線を選択的に投射することにより、前記押し出される構造材料の部分を硬化させて、前記物体の部分を形成する前記押し出される層の領域を定める、ステップと、
前記スロットダイと前記支持面との間で分離方向において前記スロットダイ及び前記支持面を相対的に移動させる、ステップと
を繰り返し含む、
方法。 - 前記粘着性の構造材料は、放射線硬化性液体媒体中の液体材料の懸濁液である、請求項55に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子材料は、セラミック又は金属粉末である、請求項56に記載の方法。
- 前記液体媒体は、ポリマーを形成するよう放射線硬化性である、請求項56又は57に記載の方法。
- 前記粒子材料は、5ミクロン未満の、任意的に2ミクロン未満の、平均直径を有する、請求項56乃至58のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記放射は、紫外光放射、可視光放射又は電子ビーム放射である、請求項56乃至59のうちのいずれか1項に記載の方法。
