Abstract
Description

第1のセラミック材料とは異なる第2のセラミック材料を含む第2のセラミック相と
を含み、セラミック複合材は、ASTM C674−13に従って測定して、少なくとも350GPaの弾性率を有し、第1および第2の相のそれぞれは、1kg荷重下でのヌープ硬度試験に従って測定して、少なくとも1700kg/mm2の硬度を有する、セラミック複合材。
セラミック複合材の総重量を基準として35重量%〜65重量%の量で存在する第1のセラミック材料と、
セラミック複合材の総重量を基準として35重量%〜65重量%の量で存在する第2のセラミック材料と
を含み、第1のセラミック材料は、第2のセラミック材料とは異なる組成を有し、
セラミック複合材は、第1のセラミック材料の大部分を含む第1の相と、第2のセラミック材料の大部分を含む第2の相とを含み、第1および第2の相は、3−3の接続性パターンを有する、セラミック複合材。
82:18〜65:35または18:82〜35:65の範囲内の、第2のセラミック材料の重量パーセントに対する第1のセラミック材料の重量パーセントの比で存在する、第1のセラミック材料および第2のセラミック材料
を含み、第1のセラミック材料は、第2のセラミック材料とは異なる組成を有し、
セラミック複合材は、第1のセラミック材料の大部分を含む第1の相と、第2のセラミック材料の大部分を含む第2の相とを含み、第1および第2の相は、1−3の接続性パターンを有する、セラミック複合材。
0.3〜200ミクロンの範囲内、または5〜200ミクロンの範囲内の粒径を有する炭化ケイ素、および0.5〜100ミクロンの範囲内の粒径を有する炭素を含む第1の相と、
炭化ホウ素、0.3〜200ミクロンの範囲内の粒径を有する炭化ケイ素、および0.5〜100ミクロンの範囲内の粒径を有する炭素を含む第2の相と
を含み、第1の相の炭化ケイ素は、第2の相の炭化ケイ素から分離されている、セラミック複合材。
代表的なセラミック複合板S1〜S9を、本明細書の実施形態に従って形成した。炭化ケイ素および炭化ホウ素を、表1に含まれる重量パーセント比で乾式混合した。対応する従来の板C1は、炭化ケイ素で形成された。
Claims (15)
- セラミック複合材であって、
第1のセラミック材料を含む第1のセラミック相と、
第2のセラミック材料を含む第2のセラミック相と
を含み、前記第1のセラミック材料は、前記第2のセラミック材料とは異なる組成を有し、
前記第1のセラミック相および前記第2のセラミック相の少なくとも1つは、少なくとも5ミクロンの中央最小幅を有する、セラミック複合材。 - 前記第1の材料が、0.3〜200ミクロンの範囲内の平均粒径を有する炭化ケイ素粒子を含む、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 前記第2の材料が、0.3ミクロン〜200ミクロンの範囲内の平均粒径を有する炭化ホウ素を含む、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 少なくとも1:99および最大99:1の前記第2のセラミック相に対する前記第1のセラミック相の重量パーセント比をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 前記第1および第2の相は、3−3接続パターン、1−3接続パターン、またはその両方を有する、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 前記セラミック複合材が少なくとも2.4g/cm3および最大3.1g/cm3の平均かさ密度を有する、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 最大5%の平均空隙率を有する、請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 請求項1に記載のセラミック複合材を含むセラミック本体と、前記セラミック本体に隣接する第1の構成要素とを含む装甲構成要素。
- セラミック複合材であって、
0.8〜200ミクロンの範囲内の平均粒径を有する炭化ケイ素と、0.5〜100ミクロンの平均範囲内の平均粒径を有する炭素とを含む第1の相と;
炭化ホウ素と、0.5〜100ミクロンの範囲内の平均粒径を有する炭素とを含む第2の相と
を含み、前記第1の相の炭化ケイ素は、前記第2の相の炭化ケイ素から分離されている、セラミック複合材。 - 前記第2の相が、0.5〜100ミクロンの平均粒径を有する炭化ホウ素を含む、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 前記第1の相、第2の相、またはその両方が、5〜200ミクロンの範囲内の中央最小幅を有する、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 炭化ケイ素が、前記セラミック複合材の総重量に対して少なくとも1重量%および最大99重量%の量で存在する、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 炭化ホウ素が、前記セラミック複合材の総重量に対して少なくとも1重量%および最大99重量%の量で存在する、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 1:99〜99:1の範囲内の、前記セラミック複合材の総重量に対する炭化ホウ素の重量パーセントに対する、前記セラミック複合材の総重量に対する炭化ケイ素の重量パーセントの比をさらに含む、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
- 前記第1の相が、前記第1の相の総重量を基準として大部分の炭化ケイ素を含み、前記第2の相が、前記第2の相の総重量を基準として大部分の炭化ホウ素を含む、請求項9に記載のセラミック複合材。
