Abstract
Description
表1は、水性泡沸性コーティングを使用して比較例(Comp Exs)A〜D及び実施例(Exs)1〜5を調製するために使用された成分の説明を含む。
比較例A〜D及び実施例1〜5の配合物を表2に列挙する。各コーティング配合物中の各要素の量は、表2の総配合物重量の重量パーセントで特定される。
比較例A〜D及び実施例1〜5のコーティング配合物の特徴付け、表3には特徴付けの結果が含まれる。本明細書に前述されるように、引張伸び及び貯蔵弾性率を決定する。
比較例E及び実施例6〜9は、溶媒不含二成分(2k)ポリウレタン発泡体系を使用して作製される。2kポリウレタン発泡体系に関して、ポリマー結合剤は、ポリオール成分とイソシアネート成分とを混合することにより作製される。これらの試料に使用されたポリオール及びイソシアネート成分は、これらの試料で使用された他の成分と共に表5に記載される。
溶媒不含泡沸性コーティングの配合は、表6にあり、各成分の値は総配合物重量に対するその成分の重量パーセントを表す。
比較例A〜D及び実施例1〜5と同様の様式で比較例E及び実施例6〜9のコーティング配合物を特徴付ける。表7は特徴付けの結果を含む。
実施例3及び9は、それぞれ、押出ポリスチレン(XPS)、発泡ポリスチレン(EPS)、及びポリイソシアヌレート(PIR)発泡体ボードをコーティング及び特徴付けするための代表的な水系泡沸性コーティング及び溶媒不含泡沸性コーティングとして機能する。XPS発泡体ボードは、この実施例セクションで前述した通りである。EPS発泡体ボードは1立方メートル当たり22キログラムの密度を有し、PU発泡体ボードは1立方メートル当たり28キログラムの密度を有する。
Claims (9)
- ポリマー発泡体ボードを備える物品であって、前記ポリマー発泡体ボードが、主表面と、前記ポリマー発泡体ボードの主表面上に泡沸性(intumescent)コーティングと、を有し、前記泡沸性コーティングが、
a.ポリマー結合剤と、
b.前記ポリマー結合剤内に分散された膨張性黒鉛粒子であって、前記膨張性黒鉛が、熱機械分析によって決定されるとき、摂氏150〜200度の範囲の開始温度、ASTM D1921−06に従い決定されるとき、0.07〜0.60ミリメートルの範囲の平均粒径、及び泡沸性コーティングの総重量に基づいて15〜80重量パーセントの濃度を有する、膨張性黒鉛粒子と、
c.泡沸性コーティングの総重量に基づいて2〜15重量パーセントの濃度の亜リン酸を提供する亜リン酸材料と、
d.総泡沸性コーティング重量に基づいて0超〜2重量パーセントの範囲のホウ素濃度を提供するホウ素含有化合物と、を含み、
前記物品が、前記泡沸性コーティングと接触する物体であって、それと前記ポリマー発泡体ボードとの間に前記泡沸性コーティングを挟む物体を含まず、前記泡沸性コーティングが、ISO37に従い測定されるとき、摂氏23度で少なくとも50パーセントかつ100パーセント未満の引張伸びを有し、摂氏250度で1×106パスカル未満の貯蔵弾性率を有し、ハロゲン不含であり、ケイ酸ナトリウムを含まず、ポリ尿素エラストマーを含まず、かつペンタエリスリトール及びジペンタエリスリトールのホルマールを含まない、物品。 - 前記ポリマー発泡体ボードが、熱可塑性ポリマー発泡体ボードである、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ポリマー発泡体ボードが、前記ポリマー発泡体ボード中の総ポリマー重量に基づいて50重量パーセント超のスチレン系ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記ポリマー結合剤が、一成分水系ポリウレタン、二成分ポリウレタン、ラテックスエマルション、ラテックスポリウレタンハイブリッドエマルション、もしくはラテックスエポキシハイブリッドエマルション、またはポリウレタン尿素からなる群から選択されるいずれか1つまたは2つ以上のポリマーの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 前記ポリマー結合剤が、ポリウレタン、アクリレート、及びエポキシから選択されるいずれか1つまたは2つ以上のポリマーの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 前記膨張性黒鉛が、摂氏150〜170度の範囲の開始温度、及び0.25〜0.35ミリメートルの範囲の平均粒径を有する、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 前記亜リン酸材料が、ポリリン酸アンモニウム相I、ポリリン酸アンモニウム相II、メラミンホルムアルデヒド樹脂変性ポリリン酸アンモニウム、シラン変性ポリリン酸アンモニウム、ポリリン酸メラミン、ビスフェノールAビス(リン酸ジフェニル)、リン酸クレジルジフェニル、ホスホン酸ジメチルプロパン、ポリホスホネート、ホスフィン酸金属、亜リン酸ポリオール、フェニルホスホラン、ポリマーリン酸ジフェニル、レゾルシノール−ビス−リン酸ジフェニル、リン酸トリエチル、リン酸トリクレジル、リン酸トリフェニル、赤色蛍光体、リン酸、アンモニウム、及びホスフェートからなる群から選択されるいずれか1つまたは2つ以上の材料の任意の組み合わせである、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 前記泡沸性コーティングが、穿孔を含まない、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の物品。
- 前記泡沸性コーティングが、前記ポリマー発泡体上で0.6〜1.8ミリメートルの範囲の乾燥厚さを有する、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の物品。
