Abstract
【解決手段】
第1態様において、鋼製のBピラー中心梁は、硬い領域と柔らかい領域とを有する。柔らかい領域は、硬い領域より小さい機械強度を有する。Bピラー中心梁はさらに、ルーフ部材に固定するための固定部を有する上側領域と下枠に固定するための固定部を有する下側領域とを備える。Bピラー中心梁は2つの柔らかい領域を含む。下側柔らかい領域は、下側固定部とBピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間に配置されており、上側柔らかい領域は、上側固定部とBピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間に配置されている。上側柔らかい領域は、下側柔らかい領域より強い機械強度を有する。そのようなBピラー中心梁を製造する方法もまた提供される。

Claims (16)
- 硬い領域と、
柔らかい領域と、
ルーフ部材に固定するための上側固定部を有する上側領域と、
下枠部材に固定するための下側固定部を有する下側領域と、
前記下側固定部とBピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間の下側柔らかい領域と、
前記上側固定部とBピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間の上側柔らかい領域と、を有しており、
前記柔らかい領域は、前記硬い領域より小さい降伏強度及び/又は引張り強度を有しており、
前記上側柔らかい領域は、前記下側柔らかい領域より大きい降伏強度及び/又は引張り強度を有しており、
前記上側固定部と前記下側固定部は主に硬い領域である、
鋼製のBピラー中心梁。 - 前記下側柔らかい領域は、400〜700MPaの間の降伏強度を有する、請求項1に記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域は、550〜800MPaの間の降伏強度を有する、請求項1又は2に記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記下側柔らかい領域は、前記Bピラー中心梁の3〜50%の高さの間、望ましくは前記Bピラー中心梁の3〜25%の高さの間に配置されている請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域は、前記Bピラー中心梁の80〜95%の高さの間、望ましくは前記Bピラー中心梁の85〜95%の高さの間に配置される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記下側柔らかい領域の高さは、10〜300mmであり、望ましくは30〜300mmであり、より望ましくは30〜200mmである、請求項1〜5のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域の高さは、10〜150mmであり、望ましくは10〜100mmであり、より望ましくは30〜100mmである、請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域を有する前記Bピラーの一部は略U字形状断面図を有しており、
前記U字形状は、1つの底部と、2つの側壁と、前記側壁のそれぞれの端部で外向きに突出する横向きのフランジと、を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。 - 前記上側柔らかい領域は、前記底部と前記側壁の少なくとも一部を含む、請求項8に記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域は、前記底部と前記側壁の略全部とを含む、請求項9に記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域は、1つ以上の前記横向きフランジを有する、請求項8〜10のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 略一様な厚みを有する請求項1〜11のいずれか1つに記載のBピラー中心梁。
- 下側固定部と上側固定部とを有する高さのあるBピラー中心梁を形成する工程と、
前記下側固定部と前記Bピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間に下側柔らかい領域を生成する工程と、
前記上側固定部と前記Bピラー中心梁の50%の高さとの間に上側柔らかい領域を生成する工程と、を有する製造方法であって、
前記上側柔らかい領域は、前記下側柔らかい領域より強い機械強度を有しており、
前記上側固定部と前記下側固定部は主に硬い領域である、Bピラー中心梁の製造方法。 - 前記下側柔らかい領域は、ホットスタンピングと金型内の制御された冷却を含む、前記Bピラー中心梁の形成中に生成される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記下側柔らかい領域は、ホットスタンピングによる前記Bピラー中心梁の形成後の加熱によって生成される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記上側柔らかい領域は、ホットスタンピングによる前記Bピラー中心梁の形成後の加熱によって生成される、請求項13〜15のいずれか1つに記載の方法。
