Claims (25)
- 節水型シャワーシステムであって、
温水源と、
冷水源と、
前記温水源から温水を受け入れるとともに前記冷水源から冷水を受け入れる流入口及び、流出口を有するよう構成され、前記流出口で可変の割合にて前記温水及び前記冷水の水の混合を生成するべく作動可能な混合バルブと、
前記混合バルブよりも下流側で、前記混合バルブの前記流出口と流体連通する流入口を有し、前記混合バルブの流出口から受け入れた水を、第一ダイバーターバルブ流出口及び第二ダイバーターバルブ流出口のうちの一つに選択的に導くべく作動可能なダイバーターバルブと、
前記混合バルブの前記流出口に流体接続されて、そこから前記水の混合を受け入れ、前記水の混合が所定の遷移温度に達するに応じて、第一色から第二色へ変化するよう構成された熱インジケータと、
前記第一ダイバーターバルブ流出口と流体接続されたシャワーヘッドと、
前記第二ダイバーターバルブ流出口を、前記冷水源及び前記温水源のうちの一つに流体接続する戻し導管と
を備えるシャワーシステム。 - 前記熱インジケータが、前記ダイバーターバルブよりも上流側に位置する請求項1に記載のシャワーシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータが、前記第二ダイバーターバルブ流出口よりも下流側に位置する請求項1に記載のシャワーシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータがサーモクロミック要素を含む請求項1に記載のシャワーシステム。
- 前記サーモクロミック要素が、PVC材料及びサーモクロミック顔料からなる請求項4に記載のシャワーシステム。
- 混合バルブを備えるタイプの水道システムであって、前記混合バルブが、水源から水流を、前記混合バルブよりも下流側の分配装置へ運ぶよう作動可能であり、
前記混合バルブよりも下流側に流体接続されて、そこから前記水流を受け入れ、所定の温度に達した前記水流の可視表示を与えるよう構成された熱インジケータと、
前記混合バルブと前記分配装置との間に流体接続されて、前記水流を、前記分配装置に、又は前記水源へ戻すように、選択的に導くよう作動可能なダイバーターバルブと
を備えるシステム。 - 前記熱インジケータが、前記ダイバーターバルブよりも上流側に位置する請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータが、前記ダイバーターバルブよりも下流側に位置する請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータがサーモクロミック要素を含む請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモクロミック要素が、PVC材料及びサーモクロミック顔料からなる請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 混合バルブを含む水道システムであり、前記混合バルブが、冷水及び温水の調整可能な水の混合を、水源から流出管を通して水の分配装置へ運ぶよう作動可能であり、前記流出管が、前記混合バルブを前記水の分配装置に流体接続するものであり、当該改良が、
前記混合バルブよりも下流側の流出管に接続されて、前記水の混合を前記混合バルブから受け入れ、第一位置と第二位置との間で作動可能なダイバーターバルブであって、当該ダイバーターバルブが、前記第一位置で、前記水の混合を前記水の分配装置へ導くとともに、前記第二位置で、前記水の混合を、戻し導管により前記水源へ導くダイバーターバルブと、
熱インジケータであって、それよりも下流側の混合バルブと流体接続されて、そこから前記水の混合を受け入れ、前記水の混合が所定の遷移温度に達するに応じて、第一色から第二色へ変化するよう構成された熱インジケータと
を備えるシステム。 - 前記熱インジケータが、前記ダイバーターバルブよりも上流側に位置する請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータが、前記ダイバーターバルブよりも下流側に位置する請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱インジケータがサーモクロミック要素を含む請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記サーモクロミック要素が、PVC材料及びサーモクロミック顔料からなる請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダイバーターバルブの前記第一位置が第一回転位置であり、前記ダイバーターバルブの前記第二位置が第二回転位置である請求項11に記載のシステム。
- 前記ダイバーターバルブの前記第一位置が第一軸方向位置であり、前記ダイバーターバルブの第二位置が第二軸方向位置である請求項11に記載のシステム。
- サーモクロミック継手であって、当該継手を通って流れる流体が所定の温度に達したことの視覚表示を与え、当該サーモクロミック継手が、サーモクロミック顔料を含むPVCからなり、前記所定の温度で、第一色から第二色への前記PVCの色の変化をもたらすサーモクロミック継手。
- 当該継手が、流入口端部及び流出口端部を有するチューブ状の導管を備える請求項18に記載のサーモクロミック継手。
- 前記チューブ状の導管が、ランド及び溝で構成される内壁部を有する請求項19に記載のサーモクロミック継手。
- 当該継手が流入口及び流出口を含み、当該継手がさらに、
内面を有し、前記流入口と前記流出口との間のサーモクロミック要素と、
前記流入口と前記流出口との間に位置し、前記流入口と前記流出口との間に、前記サーモクロミック要素の前記内面を含む流路を画定する壁部と
を備える請求項18に記載のサーモクロミック継手。 - 当該継手が、
実質的に同一直線上に配置された流入口及び流出口を画定し、軸を規定する主要部と、
前記流入口及び前記流出口により規定される前記軸と垂直で、前記流入口及び前記流出口の両方と流体連通し、開口端部を有する中空の分岐部と、
前記分岐部の前記開口端部に近接して固定され、内面を有するサーモクロミック要素と
を備え、
前記分岐部の内部構造が、前記流入口と前記流出口との間に、前記サーモクロミック要素の前記内面により部分的に画定される流路をもたらすべく構成された請求項18に記載のサーモクロミック継手。 - 前記内部構造が壁部を備え、前記壁部が、軸方向に前記分岐部を通って、前記流入口及び前記流出口を画定する共有壁部から、前記分岐部の前記開口端部で又はその近傍で終了する自由端部へ延び、それにより、前記壁部の前記自由端部と前記サーモクロミック要素の前記内面との間に隙間が画定されて、流入口から、前記壁部の前記自由端部と前記サーモクロミック要素の前記内面との間の前記隙間を通って、前記流出口へ至る流路が画定される請求項22に記載のサーモクロミック継手。
- サーモクロミック材料であって、
ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)と、
所定の遷移温度に応じて、第一色から第二色への前記PVCにおけるサーモクロミック変化をもたらすに十分な濃度で、前記PVCに含まれるサーモクロミック顔料と
を含むサーモクロミック材料。 - サーモクロミック要素を製造する方法であって、
液体状態の未硬化液状ポリ塩化ビニル(PVC)を用意すること
当該未硬化液状PVCにサーモクロミック顔料を、所定の遷移温度に応じて、第一色から第二色への当該PVCのサーモクロミック変化をもたらすに十分な濃度で混合させること、
当該PVCを、混合された前記サーモクロミック顔料とともに、サーモクロミック要素の形状に成形すること、ならびに、
当該PVCを、混合された前記サーモクロミック顔料とともに硬化させること
を備える方法。
