Description
Claims (16)
- 血管閉塞治療システムにおいて:
送達アッセンブリと;
送達アッセンブリジャンクションによって前記送達アッセンブリに取り外し可能に接続された血管閉塞デバイスであって、
一又はそれ以上の複合ワイヤで形成されたブレード状部分であって、各複合ワイヤがコア金属材料でできたコアと、前記コア金属材料と異なる外側金属材料でできた外側層とを具える、ブレード状部分と;
前記ブレード状部分に接続されたコイル状部分と;
前記ブレード状部分を前記コイル状部分に接続するデバイス内ジャンクションと;
を具える血管閉塞デバイスとを具え、
前記コアと前記外側層の一方が、前記コアと前記外側層の他方より、それぞれ、放射線不透過性が高く、剛性が低い、ことを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。 - 請求項1に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記コア金属材料が、プラチナを具え、前記外側金属材料がニチノールを具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記コア金属材料がニチノールを具え、前記外側金属材料がプラチナを具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記一またはそれ以上の複合ワイヤの各々の、極限強度に対する降伏力の比が70%より小さいことを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求王1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記ブレード状部分が、複数の複合ワイヤでできたブレードを具え、各複合ワイヤが、プラチナを具えるコアと、ニチノールを具える外側層を有しており、
前記複数の複合ワイヤが16乃至48本のワイヤでできており、
前記複数の複合ワイヤの各々のプラチナ含有量が35乃至60体積%であり、
前記複数の複合ワイヤの各々の外径が、0.0010インチ乃至0.0015インチである、
ことを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。 - 請求項5に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記複数の複合ワイヤが24乃至32本の複合ワイヤであって、各々が、プラチナ含有率40乃至50体積%と、外径0.00115乃至0.00125インチを有する複合ワイヤを具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記送達アッセンブリが遠位端を具え、当該遠位端がフックを形成していることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記送達アッセンブリジャンクションが、近位端と遠位端を有するリンクを具え、前記リンクの遠位端が複数のフィンガを具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記送達アッセンブリジャンクションが、ブレード状部材を具え、当該ブレード状部材の少なくとも一部が、前記血管塞栓デバイスの内側に半径方向に配置されていることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至7のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記送達アッセンブリジャンクションが、前記血管塞栓デバイスの少なくとも一部の周りに配置した筒状本体を具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記デバイス内ジャンクションが、前記血管塞栓デバイスの少なくとも一部の周りに配置した筒状本体を具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記デバイス内ジャンクションが、前記血管塞栓デバイスの一部によって規定されるルーメン内に配置された筒状本体を具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項12に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記筒状部材がブレード状チューブを具えることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至10のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記デバイス内ジャンクションが、前記ブレード状及びコイル状部分を通って半径方向に延在するピンを具え、これによって、前記ブレード状及びコイル状部分を接続することを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至14のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記コイル状部分が、その端部に配置した平巻線を具え、当該平巻線の縦軸が、前記血管塞栓デバイスの縦軸にほぼ平行であることを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
- 請求項1乃至15のいずれか1項に記載の血管閉塞治療システムにおいて、前記ブレード状部分が実質的に一定の幅を有することを特徴とする血管閉塞治療システム。
