Abstract
Description
本実施形態では、4つの加圧加工液供給口11は、同じ径を有する円形状であって、同じ高さに配置されている。さらに、図2に示すように、4つの加圧加工液供給口11は、上下方向からみて、工具電極1を中心として、ミスト生成空間6bを形成するハウジング2の内壁の周方向において、ハウジング2の内壁に90度毎に配置されている。これにより、ミスト生成空間6bに加圧加工液を偏りなく供給することができる。従って、ミスト生成空間6bにミストを均一に生成し、工具電極1に沿って偏りなく噴射させることができるため、放電加工が行われる工具電極1近傍の加工屑を確実に除去することができる。

Claims (8)
- 被加工物との間で放電加工を行う工具電極と、
前記工具電極が挿通されるハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの内壁と前記工具電極との間に設けられた空間であるミスト生成領域に圧縮気体を供給する圧縮気体供給装置と、
前記圧縮気体の流路であって、前記圧縮気体供給装置と前記ミスト生成領域とを接続する第1流路と、
前記ミスト生成領域に加圧加工液を供給する加圧加工液供給装置と、
前記加圧加工液の流路であって、前記加圧加工液供給装置と前記ミスト生成領域とを接続する第2流路と、
を備え、
前記第2流路と前記ミスト生成領域との境界である加圧加工液供給口は、前記ハウジングの内壁に前記ハウジングの内壁の周方向において等角度毎に2以上、または、前記ハウジングの内壁の全周に渡って形成され、
前記ミスト生成領域に供給された前記加圧加工液は、前記空間で前記圧縮気体と混合されることにより霧状に微粒子化し、ミストとして噴射されることを特徴とする放電加工装置。 - 前記工具電極が挿通され、前記ミスト生成領域の上側に配置される液槽と、
前記加圧加工液供給装置から前記液槽内に前記加圧加工液を供給する流路であって、前記液槽と前記加圧加工液供給装置とを接続する第3流路と、をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記ミスト生成領域は、前記ハウジングの下端側に設けられたミスト生成空間と前記ミスト生成空間と前記液槽との間に前記ミスト生成空間の上側全域を覆うように設けられた圧縮気体供給空間とからなり、
前記ミスト生成空間には、前記第1流路を介して前記加圧加工液供給装置から加圧加工液が供給され、
前記圧縮気体供給空間には、前記第2流路を介して前記圧縮気体供給装置から圧縮気体が供給されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記工具電極を支持する2以上のダイスをさらに備え、
前記ダイスうちの1つは、前記液槽の下端部に配置され、
前記工具電極と前記ダイスとの間には、間隙が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2または3に記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記工具電極を支持する2以上のダイスをさらに備え、
前記ダイスのうちの1つは、前記液槽の上端部に配置され、
前記工具電極と前記ダイスとの間には、間隙が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項2〜4の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。 - 前記圧縮気体は、空気であることを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 前記加圧加工液は、水であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
- 放電加工中、前記工具電極は、同軸周りに回転していることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の放電加工装置。
