Claims (10)
- 電力を蓄えるように構成された少なくとも1つの電池と、
前記電池に接続された管理チップと、を備え、
前記管理チップは、前記電池を、定電力で放電するように制御し、複数の電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲と、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数の過放電電流保護値と、が前記管理チップに設定されており、前記管理チップは、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応する前記過放電電流保護値を、前記バッテリー装置の現在の過放電電流保護値として設定する、
バッテリー装置。 - 前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数のピーク放電電流保護値を前記管理チップに設定し、前記管理チップは、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応する前記ピーク放電電流保護値を前記バッテリー装置の現在のピーク放電電流保護値として設定する、請求項1のバッテリー装置。
- 前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数の突入放電電流保護値を前記管理チップに設定し、前記管理チップは、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応する前記突入放電電流保護値を前記バッテリー装置の現在の突入放電電流保護値として設定する、請求項2のバッテリー装置。
- 前記電池及び前記管理チップに接続された少なくとも1つのトランジスタであって、前記トランジスタをオンにすることによって前記電池が電力を出力する、少なくとも1つのトランジスタと、
前記電池及び前記管理チップに接続された検出抵抗器であって、前記管理チップは、前記バッテリー装置の放電電流が現在の過放電電流保護値、ピーク放電電流保護値又は突入放電電流保護値を超えた場合に、前記トランジスタをオフにして、前記バッテリー装置の電力供給を停止する、検出抵抗器と、を備える、
請求項3のバッテリー装置。 - 前記電池及び前記トランジスタに接続されたヒューズと、
前記電池及び前記ヒューズに接続されたサブ管理チップと、を備え、
前記サブ管理チップは、前記トランジスタがオフして電力供給を停止できない場合に、前記ヒューズを切断して前記バッテリー装置の電力供給を停止させる、請求項4のバッテリー装置。 - バッテリー装置の動作方法であって、
管理チップを用いて、少なくとも1つの電池を、定電力で放電するように制御し、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量を検出する工程と、
前記管理チップが、前記管理チップに設定された複数の電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲と、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数の過放電電流保護値と、に基づいて、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応する過放電電流保護値を、前記バッテリー装置の現在の過放電電流保護値として設定する工程と、を含む、
方法。 - 前記管理チップが、前記管理チップに設定された前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数のピーク放電電流保護値に基づいて、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応するピーク放電電流保護値を、前記バッテリー装置の現在のピーク放電電流保護値として設定する工程をさらに含む、請求項6の方法。
- 前記管理チップが、前記管理チップに設定された前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲に対応する複数の突入放電電流保護値に基づいて、前記電池の電圧又はバッテリー容量が前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかにあることを検出及び決定した後に、前記電圧範囲又はバッテリー容量範囲の何れかに対応する突入放電電流保護値を、前記バッテリー装置の現在の突入放電電流保護値として設定する工程をさらに含む、請求項7の方法。
- 検出抵抗器を用いて前記バッテリー装置の放電電流を検出する工程であって、前記管理チップが、前記バッテリー装置の放電電流が現在の過放電電流保護値、ピーク放電電流保護値又は突入放電電流保護値を超えた場合に、トランジスタをオフにして前記バッテリー装置の電力供給を停止させる工程をさらに含む、請求項8の方法。
- 前記トランジスタがオフして前記バッテリー装置の電力供給を停止できない場合に、サブ管理チップが、ヒューズを切断して前記バッテリー装置の電力供給を停止する工程をさらに含む、請求項9の方法。
