Description
The present invention relates to an emulsified cosmetic for skin that can provide a fresh feeling during application and can realize the presence of a coating film on the skin not only immediately after application but also for a long time.
In recent years, the concept of watch beauty has attracted attention. A living organism has a group of genes called clock genes, and it is said that there are night clock genes and day clock genes. In living organisms, the expression level of the night clock gene and day clock gene fluctuates regularly in a 24-hour cycle, creating a daily rhythm (circadian rhythm). It is said that the clock gene controls the moisturizing function during the day and the restoration of the barrier function at night by the clock gene. However, control by the clock gene is attenuated by disturbance of daily life such as lack of sleep, disturbance of life, mental stress, etc., resulting in a decrease in skin water content during the day and a decrease in the ability to recover the skin barrier function at night. Wake up and repeat this every day, causing skin problems. Watch beauty is a concept that pays attention to such a difference in skin function between day and night, and performs appropriate care in each time zone.
In addition, the skin is damaged by inflammation or the like due to ultraviolet rays or drying during the day. When the barrier function is lowered, the skin suffers more damage. The night is a time zone that prepares for the next day by recovering from the damage that the skin took during the day and the recovery of the barrier function, and skin care in this time zone is particularly important. It is important that the skin does not receive extra external stimuli for recovery from damage and barrier function. Therefore, it is important to protect the skin.
Generally as what protects skin, the petrolatum-like pasty oil agent (balm) as disclosed by patent document 1, and the moisturizing cream as disclosed by patent document 2 are mentioned. Paste oils are effective for protecting the skin and last for a long time, but are not suitable for partial use because they do not stretch well and are sticky. However, it is not suitable for a wide range of applications such as application to the entire face. On the other hand, a moisturizing cream is obtained by emulsifying a certain amount of oil with a surfactant, but the effect of protecting the skin is somewhat inferior to that of a pasty oil, but it can be used partially and has good elongation and stickiness. So it is suitable for a wide range of use. However, it is not satisfied from the viewpoint that the effect of protecting freshness and skin during application lasts for a long time.
As a method for solving the drawbacks of the moisturizing cream, it is conceivable to use the method disclosed in Patent Document 3. This is a method of making a composition such as a moisturizing gel by emulsifying an oil agent using a certain type of polymer emulsifier. Thus, freshness can be imparted during application.
However, the method disclosed in Patent Document 3 is not satisfied with respect to the protective effect of the skin and its sustainability. Of course, the protective effect of the skin is actually protected, but it is important to feel the presence of the coating film on the skin after application. As mental stress is one of the factors that attenuate the control of clock genes, the fact that the coating film exists is expected to lead to a feeling of mental security and enhance the recovery effect of the night skin. This is because that. However, until now, the presence and persistence of the coating film on the skin has not been studied.
