Abstract
Description
Claims (15)
- 送信信号を生成するために基準信号でレーザの特性を変調することと、
物体を含む照明フィールドを前記送信信号で照明するために前記送信信号を発散させることと、
センサにおいて、前記照明フィールド及び前記物体から反射される信号を受信することと、
前記受信した信号の位相を前記基準信号の位相と比較することと、
前記比較に基づいて、前記物体までの距離を計算することと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記位相を比較することは、前記受信した信号と前記基準信号との間の位相差を測定することと、前記位相差に基づいて、前記物体までの前記距離を計算することと、を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記計算された距離が閾値より短いときに前記送信信号の平均強度を低下させること、
もしくは、
前記レーザの前記特性を変調することは前記レーザの強度を変調することを含むこと、
をさらに含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記センサにおいて受信することは、
カメラにおいて、前記送信信号によって照明される視野を含む画像をキャプチャすることと、
前記画像内で前記物体の境界を検出することと、
前記検出された境界に基づいて、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の部分を判別することと、
をさらに含み、
前記位相差を測定することは、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の前記部分と前記基準信号との間の位相差を測定することを含み、
前記距離を計算することは、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の前記部分と前記基準信号との間の前記位相差に基づいて、前記物体までの前記距離を計算することを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記物体が人物であると判断することと、
前記計算された距離が第1の閾値より短いとき、及び、前記物体が人物であると判断されるときに、前記レーザの強度を低下させることと、
をさらに含む、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記物体の境界を検出することは、前記人物の顔の境界を検出することを含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記センサにおいて受信することは、カメラにおいて、前記送信信号によって照明される、前記物体を含む前記視野の画像をキャプチャすることをさらに含み、
前記計算される距離は、自動焦点アルゴリズムのための基準点として使用される、請求項4に記載の方法。 - 前記自動焦点アルゴリズムは、コントラストベースであり、前記計算される距離が、前記自動焦点アルゴリズムのための下限及び上限を設定するために使用され、
前記下限及び上限の間の差は、低い信号強度が高い信号強度よりも大きな差をもたらすように、前記受信した信号の信号強度に基づく、請求項7に記載の方法。 - レーザと、
送信信号を生成するために基準信号で前記レーザの特性を変調するドライバと、
物体を含む照明フィールドを前記送信信号で照明するために前記送信信号を発散させるレンズと、
前記照明フィールド及び前記物体から反射される信号を受信するセンサと、
前記受信した信号の位相を前記基準信号の位相と比較するミキサと、
前記比較に基づいて、前記物体までの距離を計算するプロセッサと、
を備える、デバイス。 - 前記ミキサは、前記受信した信号と前記基準信号との間の位相差を測定するように構成され、前記プロセッサは、前記位相差に基づいて、前記物体までの前記距離を計算するように構成される、請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記ドライバは、前記計算された距離が閾値より短いときに、前記送信信号の平均強度を低下させるように構成され、又は、
前記ドライバは、前記レーザの強度を変調するように構成される、請求項10に記載のデバイス。 - 前記送信信号によって照明される視野を含む画像をキャプチャするカメラをさらに備え、
前記プロセッサは、前記画像内で前記物体の境界を検出し、前記検出された境界に基づいて、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の部分を判別するように構成され、
前記ミキサは、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の前記部分と前記基準信号との間の位相差を測定するように構成され、
前記プロセッサは、前記物体に関連する前記受信した信号の前記部分と前記基準信号との間の前記位相差に基づいて、前記物体までの前記距離を計算するように構成される、請求項10に記載のデバイス。 - 前記プロセッサは前記物体が人物であると判断するか、又は、前記プロセッサは人物の顔の境界を検出し、
前記計算された距離が第1の閾値より短いとき、及び、前記物体が人物であると前記プロセッサが判断するときに、前記ドライバが前記レーザの強度を低下させる、請求項12に記載のデバイス。 - 前記カメラは、前記送信信号によって照明される、前記物体を含む前記視野の画像をキャプチャするように構成され、前記計算される距離は、自動焦点アルゴリズムのための基準点として使用される、請求項12に記載のデバイス。
- 前記自動焦点アルゴリズムは、コントラストベースであり、前記計算される距離は、前記自動焦点アルゴリズムのための下限及び上限を設定するために使用され、
前記下限及び上限の間の差は、低い信号強度が、高い信号強度よりも大きな差をもたらすように、前記受信した信号の信号強度に基づく、請求項14に記載のデバイス。
