Abstract
Description
1つ以上の材料は、ステント及び/又は保持末端が、ステントが挿入される患者の内腔又は経路に適合し得るように、柔軟であってもよく、又は可撓性であってもよい。1つ以上の材料は、ステント及び/又は保持末端が、身体の経路を支持するか、又は身体の経路を特定の直径に維持するように、十分に強くてもよい。

- 尿管ステントであって、
管状部材と、
保持末端と、
を備え、
保持末端は、患者の腎臓又は膀胱の内側に配置されるように作られ、互いに異なる方向に延びるそれぞれのループ軸を中心にした複数のループを含む、
ことを特徴とする尿管ステント。 - 前記複数のループの1つが、前記管状部材の片側に対して横方向にオフセットし、
前記複数のループの別の1つが、前記管状部材の別の側に対して横方向にオフセットする、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記複数のループはそれぞれ互いに異なるループ面にあり、
それぞれのループ面は、互いに角度がついている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - それぞれのループの一部のみが互いに重なり合うように、前記複数のループそれぞれの足跡が、他の全てのループに対してオフセットする、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、不規則に湾曲した経路に沿ってうねり、管状部材と保持末端の終端部との間で、1回だけ自身と交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、不規則に湾曲した経路に沿ってうねり、管状部材と保持末端の終端部との間で、自身と2回以上、上又は下から交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、不規則に湾曲した経路に沿ってうねり、管状部材と保持末端の終端部との間で、自身と9回、上又は下から交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、不規則に湾曲した経路に沿ってうねり、管状部材と保持末端の終端部との間で、自身と9回、上又は下から実際に交差する、
ことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記複数のループのうち2つが、前記管状部材の対向する側面に対して横方向にオフセットしており、
ことを特徴とする前記複数のループのうち2つが、前記管状部材とほぼ整列している、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の尿管ステント。 - 尿管ステントであって、
管状部材と、
患者の腎臓又は膀胱の内側に配置されるように作られ、流体圧力を受けて変形することができる保持末端と、
を備えることを特徴とする尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、1つ以上の開口部を有する1つ以上の領域を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端が、配置された構成に移動し、ふくらみ部が、1つ以上の開口部を有する1つ以上の領域のそれぞれに作られ、
ふくらみ部が、前記管状部材の断面よりも大きな断面を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記ふくらみ部が、球の形状を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記保持末端の終端部に最も近いふくらみ部の直径が、終端部から最も遠いふくらみ部の直径よりも大きい、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の尿管ステント。 - 前記終端部に最も近いふくらみ部の開口部の長さが、終端部から最も遠いふくらみ部の開口部の長さよりも長い、
ことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の尿管ステント。 - 2つの隣接するふくらみ部の間で、前記保持末端は、実質的に開口部を含まない部分を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の尿管ステント。 - 任意の球状形状を実質的に含まない部分が、それぞれ、前記管状部材の直径とほぼ等しい直径を有する、
ことを特徴とする請求項16に記載の尿管ステント。 - 方法であって、
患者の解剖学的構造に尿管ステントを挿入することを含み、
尿管ステントが、流体圧力にさらされると変形するように適合された保持末端を備えている、
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記保持末端が、1つ以上の開口部を有する1つ以上の領域を含み、ふくらみ部が、1つ以上の開口部を有する1つ以上の領域のそれぞれに作られ、

ことを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。 - 前記保持末端の終端部に最も近いふくらみ部の直径が、該終端部から最も遠いふくらみ部の直径よりも大きい、
