Abstract
Description
図1は、第1実施形態に係る自動二輪車1の左側面図である。図1に示すように、自動二輪車1は、クラッチレバーによるメインクラッチの操作を行わずとも変速ショックの少ない変速を可能とするオートダウンシフト機能を有するものである。自動二輪車1は、車体フレーム2と、車体フレーム2に支持された前輪3及び後輪4とを備える。前輪3は従動輪であり、後輪4は駆動輪である。
図8は、第2実施形態に係る自動二輪車のオートダウンシフト制御の流れを説明するフローチャートである。図8に示すように、ステップS1〜S5,S7及びS8は、第1実施形態のものと同一であるため詳細な説明を省略する。制御装置12は、ステップS3及びS5のオートダウンシフト制御中に、予め決められたタイマー時間(例えば、0.5秒)が経過した否かを判定する(ステップS16)。タイマー時間が経過していないと判定されると、オートダウンシフト制御を継続する。他方、タイマー時間が経過したと判定されると、オートダウンシフト制御を終了するためにステップS7及びS8に移行する。

Claims (7)
- スロットル装置及び点火装置を有するエンジンと、前記エンジンの回転数を検出する回転数センサと、ライダーが変速操作を行うシフト操作子と、前記エンジンに接続されて前記シフト操作子の操作に連動して複数の変速段のギヤから一のギヤを選択して動力伝達状態にする手動変速機と、前記シフト操作子の操作を検出するシフト操作センサと、前記シフト操作センサ及び前記回転数センサの各検出信号に基づいて前記エンジンを制御する制御装置と、を備えた乗物であって、
前記制御装置は、前記シフト操作センサの前記検出信号に基づいて減速シフト操作の開始が判定されると、前記回転数センサで検出された回転数に応じて、前記スロットル装置を制御して前記エンジンの吸気量を増量し、且つ、前記点火装置を制御して点火時期を変更するオートダウンシフト制御を実行する、オートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。 - 前記複数の変速段のギヤのうち選択されたギヤの位置を検出するギヤポジションセンサを更に備え、
前記制御装置は、前記減速シフト操作の開始が判定されると、前記ギヤポジションセンサで検出される前記変速段にかかわらず、前記回転数センサで検出された回転数に応じて前記スロットル装置を制御して前記エンジンの吸気量を増量し、かつ、前記ギヤポジションセンサで検出される前記変速段に応じて前記点火装置を制御して点火時期を変更する、請求項1に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。 - 前記制御装置は、前記減速シフト操作の開始が判定されると点火時期の位相を変更するように前記点火装置を制御すると共に、その点火時期の位相変更量を前記ギヤポジションセンサで検出された変速段に応じて決定する、請求項1又は2に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。
- 前記制御装置は、点火遅角により前記点火時期の位相を変更し、減速シフト時の変速段が高位になるほど遅角量を増加させる、請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。
- 前記制御装置は、減速シフト時の前記変速比差が最大であるときには、前記点火装置の点火時期を変更せずに前記スロットル装置を制御して前記エンジンの吸気量を増量し、減速シフト時の前記変速比差が最大であるとき以外には、前記点火装置を制御して点火時期を遅角させる、請求項1乃至4のいずれか1項に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。
- 前記制御装置は、所定の制御条件が成立したときに前記オートダウンシフト制御を実行し、
前記制御条件は、前記乗物の速度が第1閾値より大きく、前記エンジンの回転数が第2閾値より大きいと共に第3閾値よりも小さく、かつ、前記スロットル装置のスロットル開度が第4閾値よりも小さいとの条件を含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれか1項に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。 - 前記制御装置は、減速シフト操作の完了が判定されると、前記点火時期が時間経過に伴って徐々に通常状態に戻るように前記点火装置を制御する、請求項1乃至6のいずれか1項に記載のオートダウンシフト機能付き乗物。
