ことが好ましい。
なお、図1は、本発明に係る乗員覚醒装置の一実施形態である乗員覚醒装置1を模式的に示した概略図である。図2は、図1に示した乗員覚醒装置1を用いて載置部11の移動を行う際の制御フローについて示すフローチャート図である。図3(a)〜(c)は、図1に示した乗員覚醒装置1による載置部11の移動形態を示す概略図である。
載置部11としては、乗員の足元に設けられる種々の部材であれば良く、例えばアクセルペダル、ブレーキペダル、クラッチペダル、フットレスト及び乗員Pの足における特に足裏まで支持可能なオットマンなどを採用することができる。
なお、車両の駆動に関わる部材であるアクセルペダル、ブレーキペダル、及びクラッチペダルを本実施形態の載置部11とする場合は、安全性を担保する制御形態又は構造を採るのが好ましい。具体的には、車両の自動運転制御又は運転支援制御が行われているときに、車両の駆動操作の一つである上記ペダルの踏込み又は踏込みの解除を行っても無効化する制御形態、又は、上記ペダルの踏込みが不能となるように駆動部12による載置部11の移動以外は載置部11を固定する形態などが好ましい。
駆動部12としては、載置部11に移動力を付加することができれば良く、例えば電動式アクチュエータ、油圧又はガス圧シリンダなどを採用することができる。
載置部11を移動させる所定の条件については、図2を参照しつつ後述する。
運転制御部3としては、通常の自動運転車両又は運転支援車両で用いられる制御用演算処理装置などを用いることができる。
なお、本制御フローでは駆動部12が複数の判別工程を行うこととしているが、本発明の駆動部としては適宜の自動運転車両又は運転支援車両に設けられる演算処理部材を用いることができ、検知結果又は演算結果などを含む適宜のパラメータを比較検討して判別可能であれば良い。また、駆動部12として、例えば載置部11に移動に係る信号を出力可能である駆動制御部材と、主に判別を行う判別部材とを別体で設けても良い。
乗員Pの覚醒度の低下の兆候としては、例えば体の動きが緩慢になる、まばたきが多くなる、まぶたを閉じた時間が増える、あくびが増える、体温が上昇する、体が前後左右に振れ易くなるなどを挙げることができる。これらの兆候は、車内カメラ、ステアリング又はシートに配置される温度センサ、シートの着座面に配置される圧力分布を検知可能な感圧センサなどの検知部2によって検知することができる。
上述した回避すべき所定の対象物が検知されたとき又は対応制御が行われているときに、本形態のように緊急回避を含む対応制御が必要となった場合は、本形態の方が緊急性が高いので、安全性に鑑みて、載置部の移動解除を強制させる制御の上書きを優先するのが好ましい。
図3(a)は移動前の載置部11を示し、図3(b)及び(c)はそれぞれ別の移動形態の載置部11を示している。
詳述すると、乗員覚醒装置が、乗員に対して発する音及び表示の少なくとも一方を調整する調整部を備えている形態を挙げることができる。
この調整部は、車載オーディオ、ナビゲーションシステム、及びその他の報知音が発生する部材の音量及び音質などを制御する制御部材、並びに、乗員に対して種々の情報を報知するためのランプ及び表示パネルの表示を制御する制御部材などであり、既存の車両に適宜に設けられるものである。
乗員の覚醒が促進される音の調整形態としては、例えば通常より音量を上げる形態、徐々に音量を上げていく形態、通常より大きい音量から徐々に下げていく形態などが挙げられる。
乗員の覚醒が促進される表示の調整形態としては、例えば表示の配置を変更する形態、表示の輝度又は色彩を変更する形態、表示の輝度又は色彩を徐々に変化させる形態などが挙げられる。
Claims (5)
- 乗員の状態を検知する検知部を有し、前記検知部の検知結果に基づいた自動運転制御又は運転支援制御が可能な車両に設けられる乗員覚醒装置において、
前記乗員が足を載置可能な載置部と、
前記載置部を移動可能な駆動部と、を備え、
前記駆動部は、前記車両の前記自動運転制御又は前記運転支援制御が行われている状態で、前記検知部の検知結果に基づいて前記乗員の覚醒度が低下したと判別された場合、前記乗員の足を押圧するように前記載置部を移動させる、
乗員覚醒装置。 - 前記駆動部は、前記乗員の両足を押圧するように前記載置部を移動させる、

請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の乗員覚醒装置。 - 前記乗員に対して発する音及び表示の少なくとも一方を調整する調整部を備え、
前記調整部は、前記駆動部による前記載置部の移動時又は移動後に、前記乗員の覚醒が促進されるように、音及び表示の少なくとも一方を調整する、
