上記電気泳動層、及び、上記圧電材料層は、導電体ラインを介して、上記導電体をシェアする態様2記載の表示装置。

(a)第1導電層と第2導電層との間に挟まれている第1圧電材料層と、
(b)第3導電層と第4導電層との間に挟まれている第2圧電材料層と、
(c)上記第2導電層と上記第3導電層との間に挟まれている電気泳動層と、を備える態様2記載の表示装置。
(態様5)
上記第1導電層と上記第4導電層とが接続されている態様4記載の表示装置。
(態様6)
第1導電層と第2導電層との間に上記電気泳動層が挟まれており、
第3導電層と第4導電層との間に上記圧電材料層が挟まれており、
上記第1導電層と上記第3導電層とが接続され、
上記第2導電層と上記第4導電層とが接続されている態様2記載の表示装置。

上記電気泳動層及び上記圧電材料層の両方が2つの導電層の間に挟まれている態様1記載の表示装置。
(態様8)
第1導電層と第3導電層との間に上記電気泳動層が挟まれており、
第2導電層と上記第3導電層との間に上記圧電材料層が挟まれており、
上記第1導電層と上記第2導電層とが接続されている態様2記載の表示装置。
(態様9)
第1導電層と第2導電層との間に上記圧電材料層が挟まれており、
上記第2導電層と第3導電層との間に上記電気泳動層が挟まれている態様2記載の表示装置。
(態様10)
上記第1導電層と上記第3導電層とが接続されている態様9記載の表示装置。
(態様11)
上記電気泳動層が、マイクロカップベースである態様1記載の表示装置。
(態様12)
上記電気泳動層が、マイクロカプセルベースである態様1記載の表示装置。
(態様13)
2つの圧電材料層に挟まれている電気泳動層を備える、圧電−電気泳動表示装置。
(態様14)
第1導電層と第2導電層との間に挟まれている電気泳動層と、
一方のサイドにおいて、上記第1導電層及び上記第2導電層と接触し、他方のサイドにおいて、第3導電層と接触している圧電材料層と、を備え、
上記圧電材料層と上記第3導電層は折り曲げられ、U字状に形成されているU字形状圧電−電気泳動表示装置。

上記電気泳動層は折り曲げられていない態様14記載の表示装置。
(態様16)
上記電気泳動層は折り曲げられている態様14記載の表示装置。
(態様17)
上記電気泳動層はマイクロカップベースである態様14記載の表示装置。

上記電気泳動層はマイクロカプセルベースである態様14記載の表示装置。
Claims (10)
- 電気泳動層を基板上に提供する工程と、
前記電気泳動層を複数のセクションに分割する工程と、
各セクションの間に空間が存在するように前記セクションを電極層に接着する工程と、
前記空間を圧電材料で満たす工程と、を含む圧電構造を形成する方法。 - 前記電気泳動層から前記基板を除去する工程をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電気泳動層を分割する工程の前に前記基板が除去される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記電気泳動層を分割する工程の後に前記基板が除去される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1つの方法により作製された圧電構造を提供する工程と、
前記電気泳動層の前記セクション及び前記圧電材料の、前記第1の電極層とは反対表面に第2の電極層を適用する工程と、を含む圧電アセンブリーを形成する方法。 - 前記圧電構造を、前記電気泳動層の少なくとも1つのセクションと圧電材料で満たされている空間とを有する部分に、分割する工程をさらに含む、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の電極を適用する工程の後に前記圧電構造が分割される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の電極を適用する工程の前に前記圧電構造が分割される、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 請求項5〜8のいずれか1つの方法により作製された圧電アセンブリー。
- 対向する表面を有する電気泳動層と、前記対向する表面の少なくとも1つに適用される圧電材料層とを含む圧電表示装置。
