Abstract
Description
発明の分野
本発明は、その種々の実施形態において、金属表面の腐食および金属種の放出を低減させるための、金属物体または製品の金属表面の最上部部分と一体の耐食層を製造する方法を提供する。特に、本発明は、金属の腐食および金属からの金属の放出を低減させるための、金属チューブの内部表面などの曝露表面と一体の安定化された亜鉛−金属酸化物または亜鉛混合金属酸化物層を有する完成金属物体または製品を製造するための方法を提供する。本発明は、その種々の実施形態において、一体型の耐食層を有する完成金属物体または製品も提供する。
発電産業では、水冷システムにおける金属腐食は主要な信頼度因子である。水性腐食は、所与の条件下での金属種の溶解性により制御される、金属表面からの金属放出によって駆動される。金属、鋼または合金はいずれもそうした腐食に曝される。放出された物質は、しばしば、低流量域内または熱伝導表面上などのそのシステムのどこかに沈着して、汚れや効率損失を引き起こす。特に、原子力産業においては、金属の放出は、反応容器の外部での放射線場の発生源である。
本発明は、使用されるとき少なくとも潜在的に腐食性の環境または腐食性環境に曝露され得る、その表面の少なくとも1つの最上部部分内に耐食層を有する完成金属物体または製品を製造するための方法を提供する。したがって、その耐食性酸化物層は、例えばin situで保護層を作製することによって製造後に保護層を作製する(すなわち、そこでは、完成金属物体または製品は完全に製造されており、その目的とする使用のための準備ができていて、そうした使用のために導入されており、その後に、ただし使用前にその保護層が作製される)のとは対照的に、完成金属物体または製品を創出するために使用される製造方法の間に形成されると理解すべきである。一実施形態では、耐食層は、そこに亜鉛が取り込まれており、それが金属物体または製品中の金属と結合して亜鉛−金属酸化物層を形成する亜鉛−金属酸化物層である。一実施形態では、亜鉛−金属酸化物層は亜鉛−クロム酸化物層である。別の実施形態では、耐食層は、そこに亜鉛が取り込まれており、それが金属物体または製品中の1つより多い金属と結合して亜鉛混合金属酸化物層を形成する亜鉛混合金属酸化物層である。その亜鉛−金属酸化物層および亜鉛混合金属酸化物層は、in situで製造されている類似の層より安定であると理解すべきである。
Claims (20)
- 耐食層を有する金属物体を作製するための方法であって:
前記金属物体の使用の間に曝露され得る金属物体の少なくとも1つの金属表面の少なくとも一部分内に亜鉛を取り込むステップと;
前記少なくとも1つの金属表面の前記部分内に耐食層を形成させるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記耐食層が亜鉛−金属酸化物層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面がクロムを含み、前記亜鉛−金属酸化物層が亜鉛−クロム酸化物層を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面が、クロムを含む合金を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面が、ニッケル−鉄−クロムを含む鋼を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 第2の金属を、前記少なくとも1つの金属表面の前記部分内に取り込むステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の金属がクロムを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 耐食層を有する金属物体を作製するための方法であって:
前記金属物体の使用の間に曝露され得る金属物体の少なくとも1つの金属表面の少なくとも一部分内に亜鉛を取り込むステップと;
前記少なくとも1つの金属表面の前記部分内に亜鉛混合金属酸化物を含む耐食層を形成させるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記金属表面が、クロムを含む合金を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記金属表面が、ニッケル−鉄−クロムを含む鋼を含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 第2の金属を、前記少なくとも1つの金属表面の前記部分内に取り込むステップをさらに含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の金属がクロムを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 耐食層を有する完成金属製品を作製するための方法であって:
亜鉛を、半完成金属製品から生産される完成金属製品の使用の間に曝露され得る前記半完成金属製品の少なくとも1つの金属表面内に取り込むステップと;
前記取り込み後に、所定の形状の完成金属製品に半完成金属製品を形成させるステップと;
前記形成後に前記半完成金属製品を熱処理して、前記少なくとも1つの表面の最上部部分内に亜鉛−金属酸化物層を形成させるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記金属表面がクロムを含み、前記亜鉛−金属酸化物が亜鉛−クロム酸化物を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記亜鉛−金属酸化物が亜鉛混合金属酸化物を含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 第2の金属を、前記少なくとも1つの金属表面の前記部分内に取り込むステップをさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 金属チューブの曝露内部表面と一体の耐食層を有する金属チューブを作製するための方法であって:
亜鉛を、半完成金属製品の少なくとも1つの金属表面内に取り込むステップと;
前記取り込みの前または後に、前記半完成金属製品から金属チューブを形成させるステップであって、前記少なくとも1つの金属表面が前記金属チューブの内部表面であるステップと;
前記形成後に、前記金属チューブを熱処理して、前記金属チューブの内部表面の最上部部分内に亜鉛−金属酸化物層を形成させるステップと
を含む方法。 - 前記取り込み後、前記形成後であって、冷間ピルガ圧延によるか、または冷間引き抜きプロセスを使用した前記熱処理前に、前記金属チューブを加工するステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つの金属表面がクロムを含み、前記亜鉛−金属酸化物が亜鉛−クロム酸化物を含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
- 第2の金属を、前記少なくとも1つの金属表面内に取り込むステップをさらに含む、請求項17に記載の方法。
