Abstract
Description
本出願は、2016年8月9日付の韓国特許出願第10−2016−0101417号および2017年7月28日付の韓国特許出願第10−2017−0096362号に基づく優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されたすべての内容は本明細書の一部として含まれる。

前記数式2および3において、
nx、nyおよびnzはそれぞれ、x軸方向、y軸方向およびz軸方向の屈折率を示し、dは、光学フィルムの厚さ(nm)を意味する。
5リットルの反応器に、メチルメタクリレート98wt%およびメチルアクリレート2wt%の単量体混合物1000gを入れて、蒸留水2000g、5%ポリビニルアルコール溶液8.4g(POVAL PVA217、kuraray社)、および分散助力剤としてホウ酸0.1gを投入して溶解した。これに、鎖移動剤としてn−オクチルメルカプタン2.5g、重合開始剤として2,2'−アゾビスイソブチロニトリル1.5gを投入し、400rpmで撹拌しながら水相に分散させて懸濁液を製造した。80℃に昇温して90分間重合させた後、30℃に冷却させた。得られたビーズを蒸留水で洗浄および脱水した後に乾燥して、ポリメチルメタクリレート樹脂を製造した。前記製造された樹脂のガラス転移温度と分子量を測定した結果、ガラス転移温度116℃、重量平均分子量120,000であった。前記ガラス転移温度は、Mettler Toledo社の示差走査熱量計(DSC)を用いて、10℃/minの昇温条件で測定した。
ポリカーボネートとして、ガラス転移温度が134℃のポリカーボネート樹脂(UF1004A、株式会社エルジー化学、以下、「PC−1」と名付ける)、ガラス転移温度が143℃のポリカーボネート樹脂(LUPOY1080DVD、株式会社エルジー化学、以下、「PC−2」と名付ける)、およびガラス転移温度が148℃のポリカーボネート樹脂(UF1004C、株式会社エルジー化学、以下、「PC−3」と名付ける)を使用した。
製造例1で製造したポリメチルメタクリレート95wt%とPC−1 5wt%とを混合し、これに、酸化防止剤(Irganox1010、BASF社)を0.5phrの含有量で施してドライブレンドし、ツイン押出機でコンパウンディングして樹脂組成物を製造した。前記樹脂組成物を265℃で溶融させ、T−Dieを通してシート状に押出キャスティングして、厚さ180umのシートを得た。
製造例1で製造したポリメチルメタクリレート85wt%とPC−1 15wt%とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法でシートを得た。
製造例1で製造したポリメチルメタクリレート95wt%とPC−2 5wt%とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法でシートを得た。
製造例1で製造したポリメチルメタクリレート95wt%とPC−3 5wt%とを混合したことを除き、前記実施例1と同様の方法でシートを得た。
製造例1で製造したポリメチルメタクリレートに酸化防止剤(Irganox1010、BASF社)を0.5phrの含有量で施してドライブレンドし、ツイン押出機でコンパウンディングして樹脂組成物を製造した。前記樹脂組成物を265℃で溶融させ、T−Dieを通してシート状に押出キャスティングして、厚さ180umのシートを得た。
前記実施例および比較例で得られたシートを用いて、下記のように特性を評価した。
前記実験例1において、透明シートが製造された実施例1および比較例4のシートを用いて、下記の実験を実施した。
Rin(nm)=(nx−ny)×d
Rth(nm)=((nx+ny)/2−nz)×d
上記中、dは、光学フィルムの厚さ(nm)を意味する。
衝撃エネルギー=(重力加速度×落球ボールの重量×落球高さ)/(偏光板保護フィルムの厚さ×フィルムの面積)
Claims (12)
- 1)ポリメチルメタクリレート90〜99重量%、および
2)ポリカーボネート1〜10重量%を含み、
前記ポリメチルメタクリレートは、メタクリル酸単量体を前記ポリメチルメタクリレートの重量対比1〜5重量%含み、
前記ポリメチルメタクリレートのガラス転移温度は、100℃以上120℃未満であり、
前記ポリカーボネートのガラス転移温度は、125℃以上135℃未満であり、
前記ポリメチルメタクリレートおよびポリカーボネートのガラス転移温度の差が20℃未満である、
光学材料用樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリメチルメタクリレートのガラス転移温度は、110℃以上117℃以下である、
請求項1に記載の光学材料用樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリカーボネートのガラス転移温度は、135℃未満である、
請求項1または2に記載の光学材料用樹脂組成物。 - 前記ポリメチルメタクリレートの重量平均分子量は、100,000〜160,000である、
請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の光学材料用樹脂組成物。 - 請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の光学材料用樹脂組成物を含む、
光学フィルム。 - 前記光学フィルムは、前記光学材料用樹脂組成物を、MD方向に1.5倍〜2.5倍およびTD方向に1.5倍〜3.0倍の2軸延伸して製造される、
請求項5に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記MD方向の延伸倍率と前記TD方向の延伸倍率との比(TD延伸倍率/MD延伸倍率)が1.05以上1.70以下である、
請求項6に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記2軸延伸は、前記ポリメチルメタクリレートのガラス転移温度より10℃〜30℃高い温度で行う、
請求項6または7に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記光学フィルムのMD方向のTTSおよびTD方向のTTSがそれぞれ100℃〜120℃である、
請求項5から8のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルム。 - 前記光学フィルムは、下記数式1の衝撃エネルギー値が400kN・m/m3以上である、
請求項5から9のいずれか1項に記載の光学フィルム:
