Abstract
Description
ポリウレタン形成組成物を、表1に記載の成分および量(重量部)に基づいて調製した。イソシアネート反応性成分の成分を、標準的なミキサーを用いて混合した。次いで、イソシアネート反応性成分およびイソシアネート官能性成分を脱気チャンバーに充填し、最低27インチHgの真空下で周囲温度で5〜10分間脱気した。次いで、成分を可変比率二成分低圧計量ユニットに移し、静的ミキサーを介して、図2〜6に示す構造を有する樹脂注入チャンバーの入口ポートに成分を計量供給した。混合比は表1に示されるものであり、各成分についてポンプにより調整した。冷却剤を樹脂注入チャンバーに供給し、槽温度を90〜100°F(32.2〜37.8℃)に維持した。
ポリウレタン形成組成物を、表2に記載の成分および量(重量部)に基づいて調製した。組成物を調製し、実施例1に記載したのと同じ方法でガラス繊維に適用した。
ポリウレタン形成組成物を、表3に記載の成分および量(重量部)に基づいて調製した。組成物を調製し、実施例1に記載したのと同じ方法でガラス繊維に適用した。
Claims (28)
- 複合材の製造方法であって、
a)複数の整列した繊維を、内部に配置されたポリウレタン形成組成物を有する流路に通すことによって、前記複数の整列した連続繊維を含浸させる工程であって、前記整列した繊維が流路を通ることにより前記組成物と接触する工程、および
b)整列した繊維を、前記繊維によって被覆され、前記流路を通った前記繊維を引っ張る回転軸のまわりに巻き付ける工程
を含み、
前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、
(i)有機ポリイソシアネートを含むイソシアネート官能性成分、および
(ii)イソシアネート反応性成分、
を含む成分の混合物を含み、
前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、
(A)(ii)の総重量に対して少なくとも50重量%の、官能価が少なくとも3であり、数平均分子量が100グラム/モル〜4000グラム/モルであるアミン開始ポリエーテルポリオール、および
(B)(ii)の総重量に対して10〜50重量%の、ヒドロキシル官能性疎水性植物油またはヒドロキシル官能性疎水性変性植物油
を含み、
(1)前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して10重量%以下の、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを含み、
(2)前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して35重量%以下の、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを含み、かつ、前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成性組成物のイソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に対して少なくとも5重量%の非反応性疎水性油を含む、
前記製造方法。 - 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物のASTM D4878−15による25℃での粘度が、前記イソシアネート官能性成分と前記イソシアネート反応性成分との混合の少なくとも30分後に1000mPa・s以下である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イソシアネート官能性成分および前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、NCOインデックスが少なくとも90であるような量で混合される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イソシアネート官能性成分が、変性ポリマージフェニルメタンジイソシアネートプレポリマー。を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記変性ポリマージフェニルメタンジイソシアネートプレポリマーが、31.8〜32.6重量%のNCO含量および25℃で30〜50mPa・sの粘度を有する、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも3の官能価を有する前記アミン開始ポリエーテルポリオールが、三官能性ポリエーテルポリオールおよび/または四官能性ポリエーテルポリオールを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、組成物中の前記アミン開始ポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して少なくとも50重量%のアミン開始ポリエーテルトリオールを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、
(1)三官能性ポリエーテルポリオール、および
(2)四官能性ポリエーテルポリオール
を含み、
前記組成物中の(2)に対する(1)の重量比が少なくとも1:2である、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、
(1)1000〜4000の数平均分子量を有するアミン開始四官能性ポリエーテルポリオール、および/または
(2)100〜600の数平均分子量を有するアミン開始四官能性ポリエーテルポリオール
を含む請求項6に記載の方法。 - (1)が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物に使用されるアミン開始四官能性ポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して75〜85重量%の量で存在し、かつ(2)が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物に使用されるアミン開始四官能性ポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して15〜25重量%の量で存在する、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記アミン開始ポリエーテルポリオールの少なくとも一部が、20%〜85%の全再生可能成分を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを10重量%以下含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシル官能性疎水性植物油および/またはヒドロキシル官能性疎水性変性植物油が、ヒマシ油、ヒドロキシル化大豆油および/またはカシュー油ベースのポリオールを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシル官能性疎水性植物油が、25℃における粘度が9000mPa・s未満であり、OH価が175〜550であり、官能性が2〜5であるカシュー油ベースのポリオールを含む、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、ASTM D2161に従って測定された37.8℃における10〜50セーベルトユニバーサル秒(Saybolt universal second)の粘度を有する非反応性疎水性油を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記非反応性疎水性オイルが、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物のイソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に対して、少なくとも5重量%であって20重量%以下の量で存在する、請求項15に記載の方法。
- 複合材を製造するためのシステムであって、
(a)複数の連続繊維の供給源、
(b)前記供給源から供給された前記複数の連続繊維を整列させるための手段、
(c)樹脂注入チャンバー、
を含み、
前記(c)樹脂注入チャンバーが、
(i)前記複数の整列した繊維をチャンバーの内部に供給するように構成された繊維入口、
(ii)前記複数の繊維をチャンバーから引き出すように構成された繊維出口、
(iii)入口から出口までチャンバーを通って延びる流路であって、テーパ状の垂直寸法を有し、垂直寸法は、流路を通る繊維流路に沿ってサイズが減少し、
(iv)ポリウレタン形成組成物を流路に供給するように構成されたポリウレタン形成組成物入口であって、中央部分と、中央部分から延びる少なくとも2本のアームとを含み、前記組成物がすべての繊維と流路中で接触し、
前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、
(A)有機ポリイソシアネートを含むイソシアネート官能性成分、および
(B)イソシアネート反応性成分
を含む成分の混合物を含み、
(d)前記チャンバーから引き出された複数の繊維を巻き付けることによって複合材が形成されるように構成された回転軸
を含む、前記システム。 - 前記アームが、前記中心部分から30°〜60°の角度で延びている、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記チャンバーが、第1のプレートの一方の側と第2のプレートの側との隣接した形で接続部を備える、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- V型樹脂ポリウレタン形成組成物入口を含む、請求項17に記載のシステム。
- 前記第2のプレートが、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が含浸されるために前記繊維が通過する凹部を含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記チャンバーが、前記繊維がチャンバーから出るときに繊維から余分な樹脂材料を除去するワイパープレートを含む、請求項19に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、
(A)(ii)の総重量に対して少なくとも50重量%の、少なくとも3の官能価および100グラム/モル〜4000グラム/モルの分子量を有するアミン開始ポリエーテルポリオール、および
(B)(ii)の総重量に対して10〜50重量%の、ヒドロキシル官能性疎水性植物油またはヒドロキシル官能性疎水性変性植物油
を含むイソシアネート反応性成分を含み、
(1)前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して10重量%以下の、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを含み、
(2)前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して35重量%以下の、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを含み、かつ、前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成性組成物のイソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に対して少なくとも5重量%の非反応性疎水性油を含む、
請求項17に記載のシステム。 - 前記アミン開始ポリエーテルポリオールの少なくとも一部が、20%〜85%の全再生可能成分を有する、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記ポリウレタン形成組成物中のポリエーテルポリオールの総重量に対して、アミン以外の開始剤から調製されたポリエーテルポリオールを10重量%以下含む、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記ヒドロキシル官能性疎水性植物油が、25℃における粘度が9000mPa・s未満であり、OH価が175〜550であり、官能性が2〜5であるカシュー油ベースのポリオールを含む、請求項23に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポリウレタン形成組成物が、ASTM D2161に従って測定された37.8℃における10〜50セーベルトユニバーサル秒の粘度を有する非反応性疎水性油を含む、請求項23に記載のシステム。
