Abstract
Description
本願は、2015年5月15日に出願された“ULTRASOUND TRANSDUCER COVER”と題する米国仮出願第62/162,374号の利益を主張するものであり、この出願の教示が参照によって本明細書に組み込まれる。
Claims (12)
- 超音波照射面を備える超音波プローブと共に使用する超音波プローブカバーであって、
前記超音波プローブを実質的に包み且つ前記超音波照射面によって照射された超音波を伝達するように構成された、器具用のシースであって、前記シースが開端部及び閉端部と超音波照射面接触領域とを有し、前記超音波照射面接触領域が接触領域内面と接触領域外面とを備えるシースと、
前記接触領域内面、前記接触領域外面又はその両方に取り外し可能に取り付けられた少なくとも1つのバリアであって、前記少なくとも1つのバリアを取り外す前に行われる点検処置を示唆するしるしを備える少なくとも1つのバリアとを備える超音波プローブカバー。 - 前記接触領域内面上に配置された伝導媒体を更に備える、請求項1に記載の超音波プローブカバー。
- 前記伝導媒体には、粘着剤又は超音波ジェルのいずれかが含まれる、請求項2に記載の超音波プローブカバー。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバリアが、前記接触領域内面上に配置された内側バリアを備え、
前記伝導媒体が前記接触領域内面と前記内側バリアとの間に配置されている、請求項2に記載の超音波プローブカバー。 - 前記接触領域外面上に配置された伝導媒体を更に備える、請求項1に記載の超音波プローブカバー。
- 前記伝導媒体には超音波ジェルが含まれる、請求項5に記載の超音波プローブカバー。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバリアが、前記接触領域外面上に配置された外側バリアを備え、
前記伝導媒体が前記接触領域外面と前記外側バリアとの間に配置されている、請求項5に記載の超音波プローブカバー。 - 前記超音波照射面接触領域が前記閉端部の付近にある、請求項1に記載の超音波プローブカバー。
- 超音波照射面を備える超音波プローブと共に超音波プローブカバーを使用する方法であって、
前記超音波プローブカバーが、前記超音波プローブを実質的に包み且つ前記超音波照射面によって照射された超音波を伝達するように構成された、器具用のシースを備え、
前記シースが開端部及び閉端部と超音波照射面接触領域とを有し、
前記超音波照射面接触領域が接触領域内面と接触領域外面とを備え、
前記超音波プローブカバーが、前記接触領域内面、前記接触領域外面又はその両方に取り外し可能に取り付けられた少なくとも1つのバリアであって、前記少なくとも1つのバリアを取り外す前に行われる点検処置を示唆するしるしを備える少なくとも1つのバリアを更に備え、
前記超音波プローブを、外科用ドレープの前記超音波照射面接触領域と接触させることと、
前記少なくとも1つのバリアを取り外す前に前記点検処置が行われたことを確認することと、
前記超音波プローブを用いた外科的処置を行う前に前記少なくとも1つのバリアを取り外すこととを含む方法。 - 前記点検処置が行われたことを確認することが、正しい手術部位、正しい外科的処置、正しい患者、及び患者の正しい側性の少なくとも1つを確認することを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記点検処置が確認されたことを示唆するしるしをバリア上に設けることを更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのバリアを取り除いた後に、前記少なくとも1つのバリアを患者の医療記録に貼付することを更に含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
