Abstract
Description
本願は、2015年3月13日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/132,589号及び2015年3月13日に出願された米国仮特許出願第62/132,618号の利益を主張し、それらの内容全体が参照により本明細書に援用される。
別途に定義しない限り、本明細書に使用される技術用語と科学用語の全ては、本発明が属する技術分野の当業者に通常理解されるものと同じ意味を有する。
本発明は、無菌流体の生産に用いられる設備と方法に関し、具体的に、無菌流体配送システムに用いられる多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリアに関する。本発明の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10(図1)及び無菌流体配送システム(図2、図3)は溶質を貯留し無菌流体溶液を分配する、安定かつ便利な方法を好適に提供する。溶質の供給を補充するように、多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10(図1)を手軽に素早く交換することが可能であり、通常の携帯式流体配送システムに関する、例えば流体の供給の制限、液体袋の輸送及び貯蔵などの欠点が克服される。また、多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10の交換可能及び/又は取替え可能という簡易性及び素早さにより、ユーザーが、異なる所要の溶質の間で簡単に変わることができる。
無菌流体配送システム70は、必要に応じて無菌流体および/または溶液を配送するためのものである。無菌流体配送システム70は、各種用途、例えば、医療及び/または家庭用に適用されるように構成されることができる。無菌流体配送システム70は、無菌流体配送システム70の部材を囲むように配置されるハウジング84を含むことができ、無菌流体配送システム70の部材は、流体導管(図示せず)と、浄化および/または滅菌機構(図示せず)と、コントローラー86とを含むが、これらに限らない。ハウジング84は、金属、金属の合金、プラスチック(例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリ塩化ビニール)或いはそれらの組み合わせから構成されることができる。無菌流体配送システム70の輸送に寄与するように、ハウジング84には複数の輪88が設けられることができる。
本発明の一態様ににかかる多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10(図1)は、無菌流体配送システム70に用いられる回転ハウジング12(図2、図3)を含む。回転ハウジング12は略O型であってもよいが、他の形状であってもよい。回転ハウジング12は、金属、金属の合金、プラスチック(例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリ塩化ビニール)或いはそれらの組み合わせから構成されることができる。
以下、無菌流体配送システム70において多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10(図2、図3)により無菌流体溶液を生じることについて説明する。まず、無菌流体配送システム70に設けられるドア72を開いてカートリッジ保持領域74を露出させる。ドア72は、権限を授けることなくカートリッジ保持領域74に入ることを防止するためのロック機能を有することができる。カートリッジ保持領域74は、流体ノズル76、排出ノズル(図示せず)及び回転伝動部材78(図4)を含むことができる。多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10をカートリッジ保持領域74内に入れて、回転伝動部材78が回転伝動受け凹部50に係合することにより、回転伝動部材78に対して多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア10を回転可能に固定する。この後、ドア72が閉じられる。
Claims (15)
- 無菌流体配送システムに用いられる多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリアであって、
前記無菌流体配送システムに接続され、溶質カートリッジを受け取るように配置される1つまたは複数のボアを含む回転ハウジングを含み、
前記無菌流体配送システムは、水が前記溶質カートリッジを流れることで、所要の無菌溶液を生じるように配置される、多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。 - 前記回転ハウジングは、前記無菌流体配送システムに接続されると、所要の前記無菌溶液を生じるように選択的に回転する請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質カートリッジは、フレームと、前記フレームにより支持されるフィルターと、前記溶質カートリッジに収納される溶質とを含む請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質は薬剤である請求項3に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記薬剤は抗生物質、抗菌剤と銀イオンのうちの少なくとも一種である請求項4に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記回転ハウジングは中心軸線を含み、前記1つまたは複数のボアは前記中心軸線回りに周方向に配置される請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質は、ナトリウム、塩化物、乳酸塩、カリウム、カルシウムとブドウ糖の組合わせの1つである請求項3に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質カートリッジの前記フレームは、対応するボアを規定する内表面と一体的に形成される請求項3に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質カートリッジは個別に形成され、対応する1つの前記ボアから取り除き可能である請求項3に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記溶質カートリッジの端部はシール材により封止される請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記1つまたは複数のボアに排出ポートが設けられている請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記回転ハウジングの全体はシール材により覆われ、前記多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリアが前記無菌流体配送システムにより使い捨てられる請求項1に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 前記フィルターは、10ミクロンから100ミクロンまでの固体を濾過するように設計される請求項3に記載の多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
- 無菌流体配送システムに用いられる多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリアであって、
前記無菌流体配送システムに接続され、溶質カートリッジを受け取るように配置される1つまたは複数のボアを含む回転ハウジングを含み、
前記無菌流体配送システムは、水が前記溶質カートリッジを流れることで、所要の無菌溶液を生じるように配置され、
前記回転ハウジングは、中心軸線を含み、前記1つまたは複数のボアは前記中心軸線回りに周方向に配置される多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。 - 無菌流体配送システムに用いられる多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリアであって、
前記無菌流体配送システムに接続され、溶質カートリッジを受け取るように配置される1つまたは複数のボアを含む回転ハウジングを含み、

前記溶質カートリッジは個別に形成され、対応する1つの前記ボアから取り除き可能である多ボアの溶質カートリッジキャリア。
