Abstract
Description
含窒素還元剤を含むプロセスオフガスもしくはエンジン排ガスを提供するかまたは含窒素還元剤をオフガスもしくは排ガスに添加するステップ;
このオフガスまたは排ガスをセラミックキャンドルフィルタに通し及び粒状物を捕集するステップ;
フィルタの分散側及び/または壁内に配置された複合SCR及び酸化触媒と接触させて、フィルタの分散側に捕集された粒状物中の煤の量を減少させ、オフガスもしくは排ガス中の炭化水素の量を酸化によって減少させ、及び窒素酸化物の量を、含窒素還元剤での窒素酸化物の選択的触媒還元(SCR)によって減少させるステップ;及び
ガスをフィルタの壁中を通過させ、そしてフィルタの透過側上に及び/または透過側に面するフィルタの壁内に配置されたパラジウム含有触媒と接触させて、フィルタ壁を通過するガス中の一酸化炭素及びアンモニアの量を減少させるステップ;
を含む方法を提供する。
酸化バナジウム(II)(一酸化バナジウム)、VO;または
酸化バナジウム(III)(三二酸化バナジウムまたは三酸化バナジウム)、V2O3; または
酸化バナジウム(IV)(二酸化バナジウム)、VO2;または
酸化バナジウム(V)(五酸化バナジウム)、V2O5;
のことを指す。
以下の例は、カルシウム−マグネシウム−シリケート繊維から製造された、長さ3m及び壁厚20mmのセラミックキャンドルフィルタを用いて得ることができる性能を例証するものである。該フィルタは、フィルタの全重量に基づいて計算して1.26重量%のV及び2.36重量%のTiを含むV/Ti触媒で壁内でコーティングされる。コーティングされたフィルタの多孔度は83%であった。このフィルタを、40ppmの無水トルエン、19体積%のO2、8体積%のH2Oを含む入口ガス中でのトルエンの酸化について試験した。
以下の例は、追加的に36ppmのPdでコーティングされた、例1のセラミックキャンドルフィルタのCO酸化性能を例証するものである。これらの試験は、約150ppmの湿性CO、19%のO2及び8%のH2Oを含むガスを用いて行った。
Claims (12)
- プロセスオフガスまたはエンジン排ガス中に存在する炭化水素及び窒素酸化物と一緒に、煤、灰、金属及び金属化合物の形の粒状物を除去するのに適したセラミックキャンドルフィルタであって、フィルタの少なくとも分散側上に及び/または壁内に配置された複合SCR及び酸化触媒;及び
フィルターの透過側上に及び透過側に面するフィルターの壁内に配置されたパラジウム含有触媒を含む、セラミックキャンドルフィルタ。 - 複合SCR及び酸化触媒が酸化バナジウム類及びチタニアを含む、請求項1に記載のセラミックキャンドルフィルタ。
- パラジウム含有触媒が酸化バナジウム類及びチタニアを更に含む、請求項1または2に記載のセラミックキャンドルフィルタ。
- パラジウム含有触媒が、フィルタの20ppm/重量と1000ppm/重量との間の量でパラジウムを含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載のセラミックキャンドルフィルタ。
- フィルタのセラミック材料が、シリカ−アルミネート、カルシウム−マグネシウム−シリケート、カルシウム−シリケート繊維またはこれらの混合物の群から選択される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つに記載のセラミックキャンドルフィルタ。
- フィルタのセラミック材料が、カルシウム−マグネシウム−シリケートの群から選択される生体内溶解性繊維からなる、請求項5に記載のセラミックキャンドルフィルタ。
- プロセスオフガスまたはエンジン排ガス中に存在する炭化水素及び窒素酸化物と一緒に、煤、灰、金属及び金属化合物の形の粒状物を除去するための方法であって、次のステップ:
含窒素還元剤を含むプロセスオフガスもしくはエンジン排ガスを提供するかまたは含窒素還元剤をプロセスオフガスもしくは排ガスに添加するステップ;
このオフガスまたは排ガスをセラミックキャンドルフィルタに通し及び粒状物をフィルタの分散側に捕集するステップ;
フィルタの分散側上に及び/または壁内に配置された複合SCR及び酸化触媒と接触させて、フィルタの分散側に捕集された粒状物中の煤の量を減少させ、及びオフガスもしくは排ガス中の炭化水素の量を酸化によって減少させ、及び含窒素還元剤での窒素酸化物の選択的触媒還元(SCR)によって窒素酸化物の量を減少させるステップ;及び
ガスをフィルタの壁中を通過させ、そしてフィルタの透過側上に及び/または透過側に面するフィルタの壁内に配置されたパラジウム含有触媒と接触させて、フィルタ壁を通過するガス中の一酸化炭素及びアンモニアの量を減少させるステップ;
を含む方法。 - 複合SCR及び酸化触媒が酸化バナジウム類及びチタニアを含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- パラジウム含有触媒が酸化バナジウム類及びチタニアを更に含む、請求項6〜8のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
