Abstract
Description
良好なフィルム完全性(integrity)、良好な塩水噴霧性能(salt-spray performance)、および早期不具合(premature failure)がほとんどないことの少なくとも1つを含む非常に良好な錆抑制性能を提供する、コーティング組成物用のワックスが得られることが望ましい。

オレイン酸 − 商用グレード
エステルコポリマー1 − エステル官能基および約21個の炭素の側鎖を含有する市販の炭化水素可溶性ポリマー流動点降下剤、Mw約43,000。挙げられている量は、約10〜60%の希釈油を含むと考えられる。
エステルコポリマー2 − 芳香族モノマーおよびエステルモノマーを含有する炭化水素可溶性コポリマーであって、そのエステルが10〜36個の炭素を有するアルコールから調製される、炭化水素可溶性コポリマー;Mn約10,000〜40,000。挙げられている量は約30%の希釈油を含む。

Claims (27)
- (a)約16〜約40個の炭素原子を有する酸化αオレフィンであって、前記酸化αオレフィンが、1つもしくは複数のカルボン酸基、または、前記カルボン酸の1つもしくは複数のC1〜C28アルキルエステル、例えばメチルまたはブチルエステルを含み、前記αオレフィンが、任意のエステル化の前に測定して約10〜約120の酸価まで酸化されている、酸化αオレフィン;
(b)約10〜約36個の炭素原子の少なくとも1つの分枝を有し、および約5000〜約300,000の数平均分子量を有する炭化水素可溶性エステル含有ポリマー;
(c)少なくとも10個の炭素原子を有するカルボン酸;
(d)アルキルアリールスルホン酸の塩であって、そのアルキル基が炭化水素油中での前記塩の溶解性を提供するのに十分な長さである、アルキルアリールスルホン酸の塩;
(e)前記塩を溶解させるのに十分な量の油;および
(f)任意選択で、揮発性希釈剤
を含むコーティング組成物。 - (a)前記酸化αオレフィンの量が約15〜約40重量パーセントであり、(b)前記炭化水素可溶性エステル含有ポリマーの量が約0.1〜約10重量パーセントであり、(c)前記カルボン酸の量が約1〜約8重量パーセントであり、(d)前記アルカリールスルホン酸の前記塩の量が約3〜約30重量パーセントであり、そして(e)前記油の量が約2〜約80重量パーセントで存在する炭化水素油であり、前記パーセンテージが任意の揮発性希釈剤の量を含まない、請求項1に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記炭化水素油の量が約2〜約30重量パーセントである、請求項2に記載のコーティング組成物。
- (a)前記酸化αオレフィンの量が約0.3〜約22重量パーセントであり、(b)前記炭化水素可溶性エステル含有ポリマーの量が約0.002〜約8重量パーセントであり、(c)前記カルボン酸の量が約0.02〜約10重量パーセントであり、(d)前記アルカリールスルホン酸の前記塩の量が約0.06〜約20重量パーセントであり、(e)前記油の量が約70〜約98重量パーセントで存在する炭化水素油であり、前記パーセンテージが任意の揮発性希釈剤の量を含まない、請求項1に記載のコーティング組成物。
- (a)前記酸化αオレフィンが、エステル化前に、約10〜約100または約30〜約85の酸価まで酸化されている、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- (b)前記炭化水素可溶性エステル含有ポリマーが、アルファオレフィン−無水マレイン酸エステルコポリマー、スチレン−無水マレイン酸エステルコポリマー、フマル酸−酢酸ビニルエステルコポリマーまたはその混合物を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- (c)前記カルボン酸が二酸またはポリ酸を含む、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- (c)前記カルボン酸が、隣接炭素原子上に2つのカルボン酸基を有する二酸またはポリ酸を含み、前記二酸またはポリ酸が少なくとも14個の炭素原子を有する、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- (d)前記アルキルアリールスルホン酸の前記塩が金属塩である、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記金属塩が、カルシウム塩 バリウム塩またはナトリウム塩、特にカルシウム塩である、請求項9に記載のコーティング組成物。
- (d)前記アルキルアリールスルホン酸の前記塩が、9もしくは12〜約200個の炭素原子または約18〜約100個の炭素原子のアルキル基を含有する、請求項1〜10のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- (e)前記油が炭化水素油である、請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- 約10または約16〜約40個の炭素原子の非酸化αオレフィンをさらに含む、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記非酸化αオレフィンと前記酸化αオレフィンの重量比が約0.3:1〜約2:1である、請求項9に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記非酸化αオレフィンの量が、約0.2〜約40重量パーセントまたは約10〜約40重量パーセントまたは約0.2〜約20重量パーセントである、請求項13または請求項14に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 酸化オレフィン以外に酸化石油ワックスをさらに含む、請求項1〜15のいずれかに記載のコーティング組成物。
- 約18〜約75個の炭素原子の炭化水素ワックス、または8〜約24個の炭素原子の脂肪酸の1つもしくは複数をベースとしたトリグリセリド、またはその混合物をさらに含む、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記炭化水素ワックス、またはトリグリセリド、またはその混合物の量が、約0.2〜約20重量パーセントまたは約10〜約20重量パーセントまたは約0.2〜約10重量パーセントである、請求項16に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記揮発性希釈剤が存在する、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記揮発性希釈剤が炭化水素溶媒を含む、請求項18に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 前記揮発性希釈剤の量が前記組成物の約60〜約98重量パーセントであり、他の成分(a)〜(e)の総量が約2〜約40重量パーセントである、請求項18または請求項19に記載のコーティング組成物。
- 請求項1〜20のいずれか一項に記載の組成物でコーティングされた表面。
- 前記表面が鉄金属を含む、請求項21に記載の表面。
- 表面に腐食保護を提供する方法であって、前記表面に、請求項1〜16のいずれか一項に記載のコーティング組成物を塗布するステップを含む、方法。
- 前記表面が鉄金属を含む、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記コーティング組成物が揮発性希釈剤を含み、前記方法が、前記揮発性希釈剤を蒸発させるステップをさらに含む、請求項23または請求項24に記載の方法。
