Claims (15)

前記第2部材(2)が前記第2炭素複合材(3)の前記補強剤(4)に対する重量比の勾配を有し、
前記第1部材(1)が前記第2部材(2)のものとは異なる以下の特性、すなわち弾性、耐腐食性、耐侵食性、または硬度を1つ以上有する物品(10)。 - 第1炭素複合材を含む第1部材(1)、ならびに
前記第1部材(1)上に配置され、第2炭素及び第2結合剤を含む第2炭素複合材(3)を含む第2部材(2)、
を含み、
前記第2部材(2)が前記第2炭素の前記第2結合剤に対する重量比の勾配を有し、
前記第1部材(1)が前記第2部材(2)のものとは異なる以下の特性、すなわち弾性、耐腐食性、耐侵食性、または硬度を1つ以上有する物品(10)。 - 前記勾配が前記第1部材(1)に近接する内側部分から前記第1部材(1)から離れた外側部分に及び、
前記勾配が、前記第2部材(2)の前記内側部分から前記第2部材(2)の前記外側部分への、前記第2炭素複合材(3)の前記補強剤(4)に対する重量比の漸減、または前記第2炭素の前記第2結合剤に対する重量比の漸減を含む、請求項1または2に記載の物品(10)。 - 前記勾配が前記第2部材(2)の前記内側部分から前記第2部材(2)の前記外側部分まで連続的に変化するか、または前記勾配が前記第2部材(2)の前記内側部分から前記第2部材(2)の前記外側部分まで別々の段階で変化する、請求項2または3に記載の物品(10)。
- 前記第1炭素複合材及び前記第2炭素複合材(3)のそれぞれが独立して、炭素及び次のSiO2、Si、B、B2O3、金属、または前記金属の合金のうち1種以上を含有する結合剤(7)を含み、前記金属が、次のアルミニウム、銅、チタン、ニッケル、タングステン、クロム、鉄、マンガン、ジルコニウム、ハフニウム、バナジウム、ニオブ、モリブデン、スズ、ビスマス、アンチモン、鉛、カドミウム、またはセレンのうちの1種以上であり、前記第1炭素複合材中の前記炭素及び前記第2炭素複合材(3)中の前記炭素が独立して、次の膨張化黒鉛、膨張性黒鉛、天然黒鉛、または人造黒鉛のうち1種以上を含む、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)。
- 前記第1炭素複合材及び前記第2炭素複合材(3)が炭素微細構造体を含み、前記炭素微細構造体の間に間隙空間があり、前記結合剤(7)が前記間隙空間の少なくともいくつかの中に配置されており、前記炭素微細構造体が前記炭素微細構造体の内部に無充填の空隙を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)。
- 前記第1及び前記第2炭素複合材(3)が少なくとも2つの炭素微細構造体及び前記少なくとも2つの炭素微細構造体の間に配置された結合相(8)を含み、前記結合相(8)が結合剤層及び前記少なくとも2つの炭素微細構造体の1つを前記結合剤層と結合させる界面層を含み、前記界面層が次のC−金属結合、C−B結合、C−Si結合、C−O−Si結合、C−O−金属結合、または金属炭素固溶体のうち1種以上を含む、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)。
- 前記補強剤(4)が次の酸化物、窒化物、炭化物、金属間化合物、金属、金属合金、カーボンファイバー、カーボンブラック、雲母、粘土、ガラス繊維、またはセラミック材料のうち1種以上を含む、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)。
- 原子炉圧力容器シール、原子炉アクチュエータシール、原子力発電所のポンプシール、圧力解放シール、回転シール、スプールバルブシール、ブレーキピストンシール、シャフトシール、ベアリングシーリング、ピニオンシール、またはシール、シール弁座、シールアセンブリ、高圧ビーズ型フラックスクリーンプラグ、スクリーンベースパイププラグ、ロータリーボールバルブシール、圧縮パッキン部品、Oリング、ボンデッドシール、ブレットシール、地下安全バルブシール、地下安全バルブフラッパーシール、運動用シール、バックアップリング、ドリルビットシール、ライナーポートプラグ、デブリバリア、掘削刺激ライナープラグ、流入制御装置プラグ、フラッパー、ボールシート、ガスリフトバルブプラグ、流体損失制御フラッパー、電動水中ポンプシール、せん断プラグ、フラッパーバルブ、ガスリフトバルブ、もしくはスリーブから選択されるダウンホール物品(10)である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)。
- 物品(10)の製造方法であって、
第1炭素及び第1結合剤を含む第1粉末混合物を鋳型内に配置すること、
第2炭素、第2結合剤、及び補強剤(4)を含み、前記補強剤(4)の重量に対する前記第2炭素及び前記第2結合剤の合計重量の比の勾配を有する第2粉末混合物を、前記第1粉末混合物上に配置して複合組成物を得ること、ならびに
約350℃〜約1400℃の温度及び約500psi〜約30,000psiの圧力で前記複合組成物を加圧して前記物品(10)を形成すること、
を含む、前記方法。 - 物品(10)の製造方法であって、
第1炭素及び第1結合剤を含む第1粉末混合物を鋳型内に配置すること、
第2炭素及び第2結合剤を含み、前記第2結合剤に対する前記第2炭素の重量比の勾配を有する第2粉末混合物を、前記第1粉末混合物上に配置して複合組成物を得ること、ならびに
約350℃〜約1400℃の温度及び約500psi〜約30,000psiの圧力で前記複合組成物を加圧して前記物品(10)を形成すること、
を含む前記方法。 - 前記補強剤(4)の重量に対する前記第2炭素及び前記第2結合剤の合計重量の比の勾配を確立するために、または前記第2結合剤に対する前記第2炭素の重量比の勾配を確立するために、前記第2粉末混合物を複数部分に分けて配置する、請求項10または11に記載の方法。
- 第1炭素複合材を含む第1部材(1)を形成すること、ならびに
第2炭素複合材(3)及び補強剤(4)を含み、前記第2炭素複合材(3)の前記補強剤(4)に対する重量比の勾配を有する第2部材(2)を前記第1部材(1)上に配置すること、
を含み、
前記第1部材(1)が前記第2部材(2)のものとは異なる以下の特性、すなわち弾性、耐腐食性、耐侵食性、または硬度を1つ以上有する、請求項1に記載の物品(10)の製造方法。 - 請求項1に記載の物品(10)の製造方法であって、
第1炭素複合材を含む第1部材(1)を鋳型内に配置すること、
第2炭素、第2結合剤、及び補強剤(4)を含む粉末混合物、ならびに前記補強剤(4)の重量に対する前記第2炭素及び前記第2結合剤の合計重量の比の勾配を有する第2の粉末混合物を、前記第1部材(1)上に配置すること、ならびに
約350℃〜約1400℃の温度及び約500psi〜約30,000psiの圧力で前記粉末混合物を加圧して前記物品(10)を形成すること、
を含む前記方法。 - 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の物品(10)の1つ以上を用いることを含む流れの抑制方法。
