Claims (3)
- 底壁から中心軸部を突出させることによって一端が開口する環状空間を形成し、その環状空間の外壁面と内壁面のそれぞれに軸方向に延びる3本のトラック溝が周方向に120°の間隔をおいて形成された外輪と、その外輪の前記環状空間内に端部が組込まれ、前記トラック溝のそれぞれと対応する位置にポケットが形成されたトルクチューブと、このトルクチューブのポケット内に組込まれて前記トラック溝に沿って転動可能なボールとを備えた等速自在継手であって、
前記中心軸部とトルクチューブとの干渉範囲を増大させる範囲増大構造を前記外輪とトルクチューブとの間に設けたことを特徴とする等速自在継手。 - 前記中心軸部は、継手奥側の小径軸部と、この小径軸部の継手開口側に連設されて継手開口側に向かって拡径する奥側テーパ部と、この奥側テーパ部の継手開口側に連設される大径軸部と、この大径軸部の継手開口側に連設されて継手開口側に向かって縮径する開口側テーパ部とを有し、この開口側テーパ部と前記奥側テーパ部とで前記範囲増大構造を構成したことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の等速自在継手。
- トルクチューブは、前記ポケットが形成される円環部と、円環部よりも継手奥側に外径が継手奥側に向かって縮径する第1テーパ部と、円環部よりも継手開口側に外径が継手開口側に向かって縮小する第2テーパ部と、この第2テーパ部から継手開口側へ延びる連結軸部と、この連結軸部から反円環部側に連結されるボス部とを備え、前記連結軸部を、外輪の開口端部との接触を回避するためのぬすみ部とするとともに、前記中心軸部の小径軸部を、トルクチューブの開口端部の接触を回避するぬすみ部とし、各ぬすみ部の外径寸法を、許容作動角が20degである継手の各ぬすみ部の外径寸法の1/1.5倍とし、かつ、前記外輪のトラック溝の軸方向長さを、許容作動角が20degである継手の外輪のトラック溝の軸方向長さの1.2倍〜1.3倍としたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の等速自在継手。
