Claims (6)
- 車両を自動走行させる機能を備えて構成される車両の運転制御システムにおいて、
この運転制御システムを制御する制御装置が、
前記車両の自動走行中に、車両の運転者の脳波または心拍を検出し、この運転者の脳波または心拍に関連する指標の内、さらに、運転者の眠気と相関関係のある指標を複数用いて、運転者の運転集中度を表す指標である集中度指標を予め設定した制御間隔毎に算出する制御を行うように構成される車両の運転制御システム。 - 前記運転者の眠気と相関関係のある指標が、運転者の脳波α波の標準偏差、脳波β波の平均、心拍のピーク値間隔の平均及び心拍のピーク値間隔の標準偏差であるように構成される請求項1に記載の車両の運転制御システム。
- 前記制御装置が、
前記集中度指標が予め設定した設定集中度閾値以上であるときには、前記車両の自動走行を継続するか否かの継続意思を運転者に確認して、運転者の集中度の向上を促す制御を行うように構成される請求項1または2に記載の車両の運転制御システム。 - 前記制御装置が、
前記継続意思を運転者に確認したときから、前記継続意思が未確認の状態で予め設定した第1設定時間経過したときには、前記車両に備わる内燃機関への燃料噴射を停止して、前記車両の自動走行を解除する制御を行うように構成される請求項3に記載の車両の運転制御システム。 - 前記制御装置が、
前記車両の自動走行を解除したときから、前記継続意思が未確認の状態で予め設定した第2設定時間経過したときに、または、前記車両の速度が予め設定した設定車速以下となったときに、前記車両の非常点滅表示灯を点灯させながら前記車両を制動して停止させる制御を行うように構成される請求項4に記載の車両の運転制御システム。 - 車両を自動走行させる機能を備えて構成される車両の運転制御方法において、
前記車両の自動走行中に、車両の運転者の脳波または心拍を検出し、この運転者の脳波または心拍に関連する指標の内、さらに、運転者の眠気と相関関係のある指標を複数用いて、運転者の運転集中度を表す指標である集中度指標を予め設定した制御間隔毎に算出する制御を行うことを特徴とする車両の運転制御方法。
