Description
近年では、市場から電池のSOC推定精度を高めることが求められており、温度サイクルの繰り返しによる、抵抗値の増加を抑制することが求められていた。
本発明は上記のような事情に基づいて完成されたものであって、抵抗器の温度サイクルによる抵抗値の増大を抑制することを目的とする。
1.バッテリの説明
図1は自動車の側面図、図2はバッテリの斜視図、図3はバッテリの分解斜視図、図4はバッテリの電気的構成を示すブロック図である。尚、図1では、自動車1とバッテリ20のみ図示し、自動車を構成する他の部品は省略している。
Coは二次電池の満充電容量、Crは二次電池の残存容量である。
SOCoは、SOCの初期値、Iは電流である。
図3に示すように、中蓋25の上面には、第1収容部25Aと、第2収容部25Bが設けられている。これら2つの収容部25A、25Bは、外壁26により囲まれている。図5に示すように、第1収容部25Aには、回路基板90が螺子止めにより固定された状態で収容されている。第2収容部25Bには、X方向の両側に円筒状をしたボス27A、27Bが設けられており、抵抗器80はX方向の両側に位置する板部84A、84Bを、各ボス27A、27B上に螺子止めされた状態で収容されている。ボス27A、27Bを設けている理由は、回路基板90側のコネクタ100の第1端子130と抵抗器80側の第2端子87の高さを合わせるためである。
図11は、抵抗器の端子200をスルーホールHに挿通して回路基板300の導体パターン310に半田接合した場合の断面図である。図12は、抵抗器の端子200をスルーホールHに挿通して回路基板300の導体パターン310に半田接合した場合について、温度サイクルに伴う、抵抗値の変化を示したグラフである。半田接合を用いた場合、温度サイクルのサイクル数が所定回数を超えると、抵抗器の抵抗値が急激に上昇する。これは、回路基板(樹脂)と端子(金属)の熱膨張係数の相違により、接合部に半田クラックが生じるためである。
本発明は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような実施形態も本発明の技術的範囲に含まれる。
(1)実施形態1では、電気化学素子の一例として二次電池31を例示した。電気化学素子は、二次電池や電気二重層コンデンサなどの蓄電素子や、放電のみ行う一次電池でもよい。また、車両は自動車1に限定されたものではなく、自動二輪でもよい。また、バッテリ20の使用用途は車両に限定されるものではなく、UPSや、太陽光発電システムの蓄電部などの他の用途に使用することができる。
