Abstract
【解決手段】液晶表示装置1は、映像信号処理部10とランプ波形信号生成回路20と液晶表示素子30とを備える。映像信号処理部10は、映像データVDがビット反転されていない非反転映像信号VDS1とビット反転された反転映像信号VDS2とを生成する。ランプ波形信号生成回路20は、鋸歯状波のランプ波形を有するランプ波形信号VREFを生成する。液晶表示素子30は、液晶114を有する複数の画素110が配置され、非反転映像信号VDS1とランプ波形信号VREFとに基づいて決定された第1の駆動電圧VID1と、反転映像信号VDS2とランプ波形信号VREFとに基づいて決定された第2の駆動電圧VID2とを液晶114に交互に印加する。

図6〜図9を用いて、比較例の液晶表示装置を説明する。図6は比較例の液晶表示装置の構成例を示している。図7は比較例の液晶表示装置における各信号の関係をタイムチャートで示している。図6は図1に対応し、図7は図2に対応する。

Claims (2)
- 映像データがビット反転されていない非反転映像信号とビット反転された反転映像信号とを生成する映像信号処理部と、
鋸歯状波のランプ波形を有するランプ波形信号を生成するランプ波形信号生成回路と、
液晶を有する複数の画素が配置され、前記非反転映像信号と前記ランプ波形信号とに基づいて決定された第1の駆動電圧と、前記反転映像信号と前記ランプ波形信号とに基づいて決定された第2の駆動電圧とを前記液晶に交互に印加する液晶表示素子と、
を備えることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記映像信号処理部は、
前記映像データをビット反転させて前記反転映像信号を生成するインバータと、
前記映像データがビット反転されていない非反転映像信号と、前記インバータにより生成された前記反転映像信号とを切り替えて前記液晶表示素子へ出力するスイッチと、
を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
