Abstract
Description
微生物が冷却装置のチューブの表面に付着して根付くことが防止されるという本発明の適用時に防汚が実現されることは、一般的な利点である。逆に、既知の有毒分散コーティングが適用される場合、表面上に付着し根付いた後に微生物を殺すことによって防汚効果が達成される。光処理による生物付着の防止は、光処理による生物付着の除去よりも好ましい。これは、後者が、より多くの入力パワーを必要とし、光処理が十分に効果的でない高いリスクを伴うからである。本発明の適用は比較的低いレベルの入力電力しか必要としないことを考慮すると、極端な電力要件を必要とすることなく大きな面積にわたって防汚光を連続的に生成するように光源を動作させることができ、または、光源は、あるデューティサイクルで、例えば、50%のオンの時間及び50%のオフの時間で動作させることができ、時間間隔は、分、時間、または所与の状況において適切であるように任意に選択されることができる。多大な追加の電力が必要とされないので、本発明は既存の構造に容易に適用することができる。
Claims (15)
- 表面水によって流体を冷却する冷却装置であって、
当該冷却装置の動作中に表面水に少なくとも部分的に曝されるように意図された、冷却すべき流体を内部に収容して輸送するための複数のチューブ、及び
前記チューブの外側の生物付着を防止する光を生成するための複数の光源、
を有し、
前記光源は、前記チューブの外側に防汚光を投射するように、前記チューブに対して寸法決めされて位置決めされ、
前記光源は概して細長い形状を有し、
前記光源は、前記冷却装置における少なくとも2つの互いに異なる向きに配置される、冷却装置。 - 前記冷却装置の少なくとも一部が、前記チューブがチューブ層として配置された層状構造を有し、各チューブ層が少なくとも1つのチューブを含み、前記光源の第1のグループの光源が、少なくとも2つの隣接するチューブ層と交差する向きに配置され、前記光源の第2のグループの光源が、前記チューブ層と交差することなく、少なくとも一対の隣接する2つのチューブ層の間に配置される、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 各チューブ層の前記チューブの少なくとも一部が主要なチューブ方向に延びる実質的に真っ直ぐな部分であり、前記光源の第2のグループの光源が、実質的に真っ直ぐな形状を有し、前記主要なチューブ方向とは異なる方向に延在する向きに配置される、請求項2に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光源の前記第2のグループの光源が、前記主要なチューブ方向に対して実質的に垂直な方向に延在する向きに配置されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光源の前記第2グループの光源が、前記チューブ層と実質的に平行な向きに配置される、請求項4に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光源の前記第1のグループの光源が、実質的に真っ直ぐな形状を有し、
前記主要なチューブ方向及び前記光源の前記第2のグループの光源の向きの方向の両方に対して実質的に垂直な方向に延在する向きに配置されている、請求項5に記載の冷却装置。 - 前記光源の前記第1のグループの光源が、互いに実質的に平行に延在する、請求項2に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光源の前記第2のグループの光源が、互いに実質的に平行に延在する、請求項2に記載の冷却装置。

前記区画が、水が当該区画に入ることを可能にするための少なくとも1つの入口開口、及び、水が当該区画を出ることを可能にするための少なくとも1つの出口開口を備える、船舶。 - 前記区画を画定する壁の内側が、少なくとも部分的に防汚光反射コーティングで被覆されている、請求項14に記載の船舶。
