Abstract
Description
本願は、参照によってそのすべてが本明細書に組み込まれる、2011年3月31日出願の米国特許出願第13/076,474号に対する優先権を主張するものである。
本発明は、身体血管内の植え込み片に関し、より具体的には、局所化的な圧力差に基づいて不可逆的に変更されるステントを含んだ閉塞装置に関する。
(1) 患者の親血管の領域にある動脈瘤の血管内治療に好適な閉塞装置であって、
事前に確立された孔機構を有し、前記親血管内の前記動脈瘤の前記領域に達するように前記患者の脈管構造に挿入するのに好適な寸法を有する、構造と、
脆弱材料であって、前記親血管と連通する穿通枝血管の小孔に生じる局所的圧力差の存在下で、初期には前記脆弱材料を通じた流れに対する相当な障壁をなし、少なくとも前記孔機構の大多数に対し、局所的な破断と局所的な浸食の少なくとも一方が可能である前記孔機構の第1の状態を生じさせて、短い期間で、前記局所的圧力差を受けて前記穿通枝血管の下流における虚血を最小限にする、前記孔機構の第2の状態を生じさせるように前記孔機構を伴った、脆弱材料と、
を備える閉塞装置。
(2) 前記構造が、金属製の突っ張りを有する、実施態様1に記載の閉塞装置。
(3) 前記脆弱材料が、薄いフィルムを含む、実施態様1に記載の閉塞装置。
(4) 前記フィルムが、セルロース、アルギン酸、ウレタン、ポリカプロラクトン、及びポリグリコール酸のうちの少なくとも1種類から形成される、実施態様3に記載の閉塞装置。
(5) 前記脆弱材料の表面積のうちの少なくとも相当な大きさが、前記患者への植え込みに先立って、直径が少なくとも10マイクロメートルの開口部を画定する、実施態様1に記載の閉塞装置。
(7) 少なくとも一部の前記孔機構が、その他の前記孔機構の幾何学的形状とは異なる幾何学的形状を有する、実施態様1に記載の閉塞装置。
(8) 前記孔機構が、前記構造の長さに沿って規則的に離間している、実施態様1に記載の閉塞装置。

閉塞装置を選択することであって、前記閉塞装置が、事前に確立された孔機構を有し、かつ前記患者の脈管構造に挿入するのに好適な寸法を有する構造を含み、脆弱材料を含み、前記脆弱材料が、前記親血管と連通する穿通枝血管の小孔に生じる局所的圧力差の存在下で、初期に前記脆弱材料を通じた流れに対する相当な障壁をなし、局所的な破断と局所的な浸食とのうちの少なくとも一方が可能である前記孔機構の第1の状態を生じさせて、短い期間で、前記局所的圧力差を受けて前記穿通枝血管の下流における虚血を最小限にする、孔機構の第2の状態を生じさせるように前記孔機構を伴う、ことと、
前記親血管内の前記動脈瘤の前記領域に達するように、前記閉塞装置を前記患者の脈管構造に挿入することと、
前記動脈瘤に入る流れを途絶させるように前記閉塞装置を配置することと、
を含む方法。

を備える閉塞装置。
(28) 前記生分解性材料の表面積のうちの少なくとも相当な大きさが、前記患者への植え込みに先立って、直径が少なくとも10マイクロメートルの開口部を画定する、実施態様27に記載の閉塞装置。
(29) 前記構造は、前記生分解性材料が散在する前記孔機構を画定する、実質的に非生分解性の多孔質発泡体を含む、実施態様27に記載の閉塞装置。
(30) 前記発泡体は、前記患者への植え込みに先立って、10マイクロメートル〜500マイクロメートルに及ぶ厚さを有する、実施態様29に記載の閉塞装置。
Claims (5)
- 患者の親血管の領域にある動脈瘤の血管内治療に好適な閉塞装置であって、
事前に確立された孔機構を有し、また、前記親血管内の前記動脈瘤の前記領域に達するように前記患者の脈管構造に挿入するのに好適な寸法を有する構造と、

- 前記発泡体は、前記患者への植え込みに先立って、10マイクロメートル〜500マイクロメートルに及ぶ厚さを有する、請求項3に記載の閉塞装置。
- 前記発泡体の前記孔機構は、50マイクロメートル〜500マイクロメートルに及ぶ平均径を有する孔を画定する、請求項3に記載の閉塞装置。
