Abstract
Description
図1は、ターボチャージャー用転がり軸受が備え付けられる一般的な自動車用ターボチャージャーの概観を示す図である。図1において、矢印1は、外部からターボチャージャーに流入する空気の流れを表す。回転軸7には、矢印2で示されるエンンジンのシリンダー5から排出された排気ガスにより高速回転するタービン8が図1における右側端部に設けられている。図1における回転軸7の左側端部にはコンプレッサー3が設けられている。矢印2は、シリンダー5から燃焼後に排出される排気ガスの流れを表す。また、ターボチャージャー用転がり軸受70は、回転軸7を回転自在な状態で支持する複列転がり軸受である。図1において、転がり軸受70を支持するハウジングは図示を省略している。

Claims (3)
- 内周面に軸方向に離間して形成された一端側外輪軌道面と他端側外輪軌道面とを有する円筒状の外輪と、
前記一端側外輪軌道面に対向する第1の内輪軌道面を有する第1の内輪と、
前記他端側外輪軌道面に対向する第2の内輪軌道面を有する第2の内輪と、
前記一端側外輪軌道面と前記第1の内輪軌道面との間に配置された複数の転動体を保持する第1の保持器と、
前記他端側外輪軌道面と前記第2の内輪軌道面との間に配置された複数の転動体を保持する第2の保持器と、
を備え、
前記外輪の、一方の端部における外周面が、軸方向に延伸する第1の平面を有し、前記第1の平面から溝部が前記第1の平面に垂直な半径方向に沿って形成されているターボチャージャー用転がり軸受。 - 前記一方の端部は、ターボチャージャーのコンプレッサ側に配置される端部である、請求項1に記載のターボチャージャ用転がり軸受。
- 請求項1または2のいずれか一つに記載の前記ターボチャージャー用転がり軸受と、
前記ターボチャージャー用転がり軸受を支持するハウジングと、
前記第1の平面と当接する第2の平面と、前記溝部と嵌合する凸部とを有する回り止め部材とを備え、
前記回り止め部材は前記第2の平面が前記第1の平面に当接して前記凸部が前記溝部に嵌合された状態で前記ハウジングに固定されているターボチャージャー用回り止め機構。
