Abstract
Description
本出願は、2015年2月13日付韓国特許出願第2015-0022593号に基づいた優先権の利益を主張し、当該韓国特許出願の文献に開示されている全ての内容は、本明細書の一部として含まれる。
本発明は、二次電池に関し、特に電極組立体の膨張時、前記電極組立体の内部に加わるストレス(stress)を吸収することができる二次電池に関する。
電解液120は、電極組立体110を含浸させるためのものであって、電極組立体110と共にケース組立体130の内部に収容される。
Claims (11)
- 電極組立体;
前記電極組立体を含浸させる電解液;
前記電極組立体及び電解液を収容するケース組立体;
前記電極組立体の内部に設けられ、前記電極組立体の膨張時に前記電極組立体の内部に加わるストレス(stress)を吸収する吸収部材;を含むことを特徴とする二次電池。 - 前記吸収部材は、前記電解液を吸収してスウェリングされる材質で設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記吸収部材はスウェリングテープ(swelling tape)であり、
前記スウェリングテープは、前記電極組立体の内部に加わるストレスを吸収することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の二次電池。 - 前記吸収部材は、第1電極、分離膜、第2電極がゼリーロール状に巻き取られている電極組立体の巻取りの中心に備えられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体は、横断面が楕円形に形成されながら前記巻取りの中心に楕円形の中央空間を形成し、
前記中央空間に前記吸収部材が付着されることを特徴とする請求項4に記載の二次電池。 - 前記吸収部材は、前記中央空間の大きさより小さいか、または同じ大きさを有することを特徴とする請求項5に記載の二次電池。
- 前記電極組立体の外周面に備えられるシーリングテープをさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記シーリングテープは、前記電解液を吸収してスウェリングされる材質で設けられることを特徴とする請求項7に記載の二次電池。
- 前記ケース組立体は、角型缶組立体に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6の何れか一項に記載の二次電池。
- 前記スウェリングテープは、前記電解液と接触すると長手方向に変形する基材層と、前記基材層の一面に形成される粘着層とを含むことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の二次電池。
- 前記基材層は、ウレタン結合、エステル結合、エーテル結合、セルロースエステル化合物のうち少なくとも一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項10に記載の二次電池。
