Abstract
Description
ガラス製造ライン、特にフロートラインは、かなりの出資となり、組成物によって、たとえば耐火物質が損傷しても修復できないため;および
ある組成から別の組成に変更する移行時間は、この時間が長いと最終ガラスの製造コストに大きな悪影響が生じるので、ガラス製造時の非常に重要なパラメータの1つとなるためである。

1≦Al2O3<4%
0≦CaO<4.5%
4≦MgO≦12%;

上項で作製した試料を、同時に同じ条件で化学強化した。異なる組成の試料を1つのカセット中に入れ、予備加熱し、次に、420℃の溶融KNO3(>99%)浴中に220分間浸漬した。このイオン交換後、試料を冷却し、洗浄した。続いて、表面圧縮応力(CS)および交換層の深さ(DoL)を光弾性測定により測定した。以下の表は、本発明による組成物1〜4および比較例1〜2の組成物のそれぞれの10の無作為の試料のCSおよびDoLの平均値をまとめたものである。
以下の性質は、本発明による実施例1〜4の組成物および比較例1〜2の組成物について、Fluegelモデル(Glass Technol.:Europ.J.Glass Sci.Technol.A 48(1):13−30(2007);およびJournal of the American Ceramic Society 90(8):2622(2007))を用いてガラス組成に基づいて評価した:
1200および1400℃において評価されるガラス溶融物密度;
「融点温度T2」での粘度;
「作用点温度T4」;
失透温度T0;
熱膨張係数(CET)。
融点温度T2は、好ましくは最高1550℃、より好ましくは最高1520℃、最も好ましくは最高1500℃である。
これらの融点温度T2は1500℃よりも低く、これは従来のソーダ石灰ガラス(比較例1)同等であり、アルミノケイ酸ガラス(比較例2)よりもはるかに低い;
これらの作用点温度T4は1100℃未満であり、これは従来のソーダ石灰ガラス(比較例1)同等であり、アルミノケイ酸ガラス(比較例2)よりも低い;
これらの失透温度T0は、作用点温度T4よりも低いため好適である;
これらのガラス密度は、ソーダ石灰ガラスおよびアルミノケイ酸ガラス(比較例1〜2)に非常に近く、そのため組成物の変更(移行)中の密度の欠陥が回避/限定される;
耐火物質腐食に関するこれらの良好な結果は、従来のソーダ石灰ガラス(比較例1)よりも優れている。

5≦Na2O≦20%
0≦K2O<5%
1≦Al2O3<4%
0≦CaO<4.5%
4≦MgO≦12%;
および0.002〜0.06重量%の範囲の含有量の全鉄(Fe2O3の形態で表される)、ならびに1未満の(CaO/MgO)比
を含むホウ素フリーおよびリチウムフリーのガラス組成を有するガラス板。 - 前記組成が1≦Al2O3≦3重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が2≦Al2O3≦3重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が0≦CaO<4重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が0≦CaO<3.5重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が5.5≦MgO≦10重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が6≦MgO≦10重量%を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が0.45以下の(CaO/MgO)比を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が0.4以下の(CaO/MgO)比を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記組成が0.1以下の(CaO/MgO)比を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 化学強化される、請求項1〜10のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 表面と、前記表面からある層の深さまで延在する圧縮応力下の層とを有し、前記層の深さが少なくとも10ミクロンであることを特徴とする請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
- 前記圧縮応力が少なくとも300MPaであることを特徴とする請求項11または12に記載のガラス板。
- 前記板の厚さが0.1〜2.2mmであることを特徴とする請求項11〜13のいずれか一項に記載のガラス板。
