Claims (30)
- 内燃機関(10)と、排気システム(24)と、排気再循環回路(20)と、前記内燃機関(10)に空気を充填するために第1の圧縮機(12)と相互作用する第1のタービン(13)を備える過給機(11)と、を備え、排気再循環路(17)は、前記第1のタービン(13)の上流において前記内燃機関(10)からの排気ガスを迂回させ、前記第1の圧縮機(12)の下流に前記排ガスを流出させるように配置される、内燃機関システム(2)において、前記第1の圧縮機(12)の下流側、且つ、前記内燃機関(10)の上流側の位置で圧縮空気を迂回させるように位置するブリード空気経路(18)と、前記ブリード空気経路(18)からブリード空気を受け、前記ブリード空気経路(18)からエネルギを回収するように配置される、第2のタービン(15)と、を備えることを特徴とする内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ブリード空気経路(18)は、前記内燃機関(10)から生じる廃熱源との熱交換のために構成される、請求項1に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱源は、排気熱源である、請求項1又は2に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱源は、前記排気再循環回路(20)である、請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱源は、前記排気再循環回路(20)以外の任意の排気熱源である、請求項3に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記排気再循環回路(20)は、排気再循環冷却器(37,38)を備え、前記ブリード空気経路(18)は、前記排気再循環冷却器(37,38)における前記排ガスとの熱交換のために、前記排気再循環冷却器(37,38)を通過するように構成される、請求項4に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ブリード空気経路(18)を通過するブリード空気の量を調節するために、前記ブリード空気経路(18)に調節弁(39)が位置する、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記排気再循環冷却器(37,38)の下流に位置する、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記内燃機関(10)へのエネルギを回収するように配置される、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記回収エネルギを機械エネルギに変換するように配置される、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記回収エネルギを電気エネルギに変換するように配置される、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、ギアトレイン(54)を介して前記内燃機関に動作可能に接続される、請求項1乃至11のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ギアトレイン(15)は、捩れ緩衝装置に動作可能に接続される、請求項12に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 第2の圧縮機(29)と相互作用する第3のタービン(30)を更に備え、前記第3のタービン(30)及び前記第2の圧縮機(29)は、前記第1のタービン(13)及び前記第1の圧縮機(12)よりも低い圧力で作動するように配置される、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記排ガスから機械エネルギを回収するためにギアトレイン(24)を有するターボコンパウンド・タービンを更に備え、前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記ターボコンパウンド・タービンのギアトレイン(54)に動作可能に接続される、請求項1乃至13のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記第2のタービン(15)は、前記ターボコンパウンド・タービンと共通のギアトレイン(54)に接続される、請求項14に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ブリード空気経路(18)におけるブリード空気、並びに、前記排気システム(24)における前記排ガスは、前記排気再循環冷却器(37,38)において互いに独立して維持される、請求項6乃至16のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ブリード空気経路(18)は、前記排気システム(24)に接続される任意の排気後処理システム(31)の下流において前記排気システム(24)に合流する、請求項1乃至17のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記ブリード空気経路(18)における前記ブリード空気、並びに、前記排気システム(24)における前記排ガスは、前記排気システム(24)に接続される前記任意の排気後処理システム(31)の下流において前記ブリード空気が前記排気システム(24)に流出するまで、互いに独立して維持される、請求項17に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記排気システム(24)に位置する廃熱回収熱交換器(51)と、前記排ガスからエネルギを回収するために廃熱回収タービン(50)を有する廃熱回収回路(51)と、を更に備える、請求項1乃至19のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱回収熱交換器(51)は、前記排気システム(24)に接続される前記任意の排気後処理システム(31)の下流に位置する、請求項20に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱回収タービン(50)は、前記回収エネルギを機械エネルギに変換するように配置される、請求項20又は21に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱回収タービン(50)は、前記回収エネルギを電気エネルギに変換するように配置される、請求項20又は21に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱回収タービン(50)は、ギアトレイン(54)を介して前記内燃機関(10)に動作可能に接続される、請求項22に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記廃熱回収タービン(50)は、前記第2のタービン(15)と同一の前記ギアトレイン(54)に動作可能に接続される、請求項22又は12に記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記調節弁(39)を制御するように配置されるエンジン制御ユニット(ECU)を更に備える、請求項1乃至25のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
- 前記エンジン制御ユニット(ECU)は、前記内燃機関(10)における必要空気量に基づいて前記調節弁(39)を制御するように配置される、請求項1乃至26のいずれかに記載の内燃機関システム(2)。
