Description
Claims (5)
- ハンドピースを備える眼科手術用レーザービデオ内視鏡において、23ゲージのスリーブを通過することのできるプローブを提供する改善であり、
前記ハンドピースの先端に延びる中空で硬質なプローブを備え、
前記プローブは先端部および基部を有し、
前記プローブの前記先端部は、外径が25ミル以下、側壁の厚さが2ミル、長さが710ミルであり、
前記プローブの前記基部は、外径が31から35ミル、側壁の厚さが少なくとも5ミルであり、
前記プローブは、断面の第1の面を有するレーザー導波ファイバーと、本質的に連続する断面の第2面を有する映像部品と、照明ファイバー束とを収容し、前記第1と前記第2面とは重なっていない。 - 請求項1記載の改善において、前記映像部品は6000本のファイバーを有するファイバー光学束であることを特徴とするレーザービデオ内視鏡。
- 請求項1または2記載の改善において、前記硬質プローブは金属製であることを特徴とするレーザービデオ内視鏡。
- 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の改善において、
前記レーザー導波ファイバーは、その直径が100ミクロンであり、
前記映像部品は、その直径が14ミルであり、
前記照明ファイバー束は70本から210本のファイバーを有する
ことを特徴とするレーザービデオ内視鏡。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の内視鏡の改善において、
前記レーザーファイバーは532ナノメートルのレーザーエネルギーの伝送に適するものであり、
前記映像部品にはカメラが連結され、
前記映像部品と前記カメラとの間には、前記レーザーエネルギーの波長を遮断し、他の可視光は透過する遮断フィルターを備える
ことを特徴とするレーザービデオ内視鏡。
