Abstract
【解決手段】表示領域が矩形ではない、異形表示領域を有する表示装置であって、前記異形表示領域に沿って走査線駆動回路が形成され、前記走査線駆動回路は、3相以上のクロックを供給するクロック配線及び電源を供給する電源配線を有するバス配線群WWと、トランジスタを5個以上含むシフトレジスタを構成する単位回路15によって構成され、前記バス配線WWと前記単位回路15は別領域に形成され、前記バス配線WWと前記単位回路15は交差しないことを特徴とする表示装置。

Claims (13)
- 表示領域と、走査線駆動回路とが形成された基板を有する表示装置であって、
前記走査線駆動回路は、クロックが供給されるクロック配線及び電源が供給される電源配線を有する配線群と、トランジスタを5個以上含むシフトレジスタを構成する複数の単位回路と、によって構成され、
前記複数の単位回路は、第1の領域に形成され、
前記配線群のうちの一部の配線は、前記第1の領域と離間して設けられていることを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記クロック配線は、前記第1の領域と、前記基板の端部と、の間に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の単位回路と前記配線群とは隣り合って配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記配線群は、第1の配線群と第2の配線群に分けられ、前記第1の配線群と前記第2の配線群との間に前記複数の単位回路が配置していることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記第1の領域と、前記表示領域との間にはコモン配線が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数の単位回路は、同一のレイアウトによって形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示領域には、前記複数の単位回路のそれぞれに接続された複数の走査線が設けられており、
前記複数の走査線は第1の方向に延在し、
前記複数の単位回路は、の第1の単位回路と前記第2の単位回路とを有しており、
前記第1の単位回路と前記第2の単位回路は、前記第1の方向にすれて設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。 - 前記複数の単位回路のそれぞれは、前記配線群と接続するための複数の接続配線を有していることを特徴とする請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記配線群は前記第1の領域と離間して設けられており、
前記配線群のうちの一つの配線は、前記第1の方向に延在する部分と、前記第1の方向とは異なる第2の方向に延在する部分とを有し、
前記複数の単位回路のうちの一つの単位回路と前記一つの配線とを接続する接続配線は、前記一つの配線のうちの前記第2の方向に延在する部分に接続され、
前記複数の単位回路のうち前記一つの単位回路とは異なる別の単位回路と、前記一つの配線とを接続する接続配線は、前記一つの配線のうちの前記第1の方向に延在する部分に接続されていること特徴とする請求項8に記載の表示装置。 - 前記複数の単位回路のうちの一つの単位回路から前記配線群までの距離と、前記複数の単位回路のうち前記一つの単位回路とは異なる別の単位回路から前記配線群までの距離とは異なっていること特徴とする請求項1乃至9の何れかに1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示装置は、表示領域が矩形ではない、異形表示領域を有することを特徴とする請求項1乃至10の何れかに1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記基板は、外形が矩形ではないことを特徴とする請求項1乃至11のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 前記表示装置は、液晶表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至12のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
