Claims (1)
- 吸気バルブおよび排気バルブの底面と共に内燃機関の燃焼室の壁面の一部を構成し、尚且つ、前記吸気バルブおよび前記排気バルブを着座させるためのシートリングが取り付けられたシリンダヘッド本体の底面に、多孔質構造を有する遮熱膜を形成する形成ステップと、
前記シートリングのバルブ着座面を切削加工する切削加工ステップと、
を備えるシリンダヘッドの製造方法であって、
前記遮熱膜の形成後、尚且つ、前記バルブ着座面の切削加工前に、前記遮熱膜の膜厚を計測する計測ステップを更に備え、
前記切削加工ステップにおいて、前記燃焼室の容積がその設計値と等しくなるように前記膜厚に基づいて前記バルブ着座面の切削加工量を調節することを特徴とするシリンダヘッドの製造方法。
