Claims (14)
- タッチ圧力検出が可能なタッチ入力装置であって、
下部面に圧力検出のための圧力電極が形成されたディスプレイパネルと、
前記圧力電極と離隔して形成された基準電位層と、
を含み、
前記圧力電極と前記基準電位層との間の距離の変化による静電容量の変化量に基づいてタッチ圧力を検出する、タッチ入力装置。 - 前記圧力電極は、駆動電極及び受信電極を含み、
前記静電容量の変化量は、前記圧力電極と前記基準電位層との間の距離の変化による、前記駆動電極と前記受信電極との間の相互静電容量の変化量である、請求項1に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - 前記静電容量の変化量は、前記圧力電極と前記基準電位層との間の距離の変化による、前記圧力電極の自己静電容量の変化量である、請求項1または2に記載のタッチ入力装置。
- 前記ディスプレイパネルは、ガラスまたはプラスチックで構成された上部基板層及びガラスまたはプラスチックで構成された下部基板層を含み、
前記上部基板層と前記下部基板層との間に液晶層または有機物層が備えられ、
前記圧力電極は、前記下部基板層の下部面に形成される、請求項1ないし3のいずれか1項に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルは、
前記圧力電極が前記下部基板層に形成された後、前記液晶層または有機物層と、前記上部基板層が形成される、請求項4に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - 前記タッチ入力装置は、タッチ位置を検出するタッチセンサパネル、をさらに含み、
前記タッチセンサパネルは、前記ディスプレイパネルの上部に付着されるか、もしくは前記ディスプレイパネル内部に備えられる、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルは、LCDパネルであり、
前記タッチ入力装置は、前記ディスプレイパネルと前記基準電位層との間にバックライトユニットを備える、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - 前記ディスプレイパネルは、OLEDパネルである、請求項1ないし5のいずれか1項に記載のタッチ入力装置。
- 前記タッチ入力装置は、
前記ディスプレイパネルの上部に配置されるカバー層と、
前記ディスプレイパネルの下部に配置され、前記基準電位層が含まれる基板と、
を含み、
前記距離は、前記基板の縁部分にだけ配置された支持部材によってのみ保持され、
前記縁部分には、前記圧力電極が形成されず、
前記タッチ表面に圧力が印加されれば、前記カバー層及び前記ディスプレイパネルが撓んで前記距離が変わり得て、
前記距離は、前記圧力の大きさによって変わる、請求項1ないし8のいずれか1項に記載のタッチ入力装置。 - ガラスまたはプラスチックで構成された上部基板層及びガラスまたはプラスチックで構成された下部基板層、及び前記上部基板層と前記下部基板層との間に液晶層または有機物層を備えるディスプレイパネルに圧力電極を形成する方法であって、
前記圧力電極形成方法は、
前記下部基板層の下部面に圧力電極を形成する段階と、
前記形成された圧力電極上に絶縁層を形成する段階と、
前記圧力電極と前記絶縁層とが形成された前記下部基板層に保護層を形成した後に、前記下部基板層を反転させる段階と、
反転した前記下部基板層の上部面に液晶層または有機物層を形成する段階と、
前記液晶層または有機物層の上部に前記上部基板層を形成する段階と、
を含む、圧力電極形成方法。 - 前記圧力電極を形成する段階は、フォトリソグラフィ、エッチングレジストまたはエッチングペーストを用いた食刻工程のいずれか一つを用いて、前記圧力電極を形成する、請求項10に記載の圧力電極形成方法。
- 前記圧力電極は、所定距離離隔された基準電位層との距離変化による静電容量の変化量を検出するための電極である、請求項10または11に記載の圧力電極形成方法。
- 前記圧力電極は、駆動電極及び受信電極を含み、
前記基準電位層との距離変化による前記駆動電極と前記受信電極との間の相互静電容量の変化量を検出する、請求項12に記載の圧力電極形成方法。 - 前記圧力電極は、前記基準電位層との距離変化による自己静電容量の変化量を検出する、請求項12に記載の圧力電極形成方法。
