Abstract
Description
燃料電池10の構成について、図面を参照しながら説明する。燃料電池10は、いわゆるSOFC(Solid Oxide Fuel Cell:固体酸化物型燃料電池)である。燃料電池10は、縦縞型、横縞型、平板型、燃料極支持型、或いは円筒型など様々な形態を取りうる。
空気極50の表面50Sは、第1領域S1と第2領域S2を有する。
第1領域S1における第二相の面積占有率の算出方法を説明する。
次に、燃料電池10の製造方法の一例について説明する。
本発明は以上のような実施形態に限定されるものではなく、本発明の範囲を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変形又は変更が可能である。
以下のようにして、サンプルNo.1〜No.9に係る燃料電池を作製した。
第二相材料を添加することなく主相材料(LSCF)をテルピネオール及びバインダーと混合した第二相用スラリーを用いて第2部分の成形体を作製した以外は、サンプルNo.1〜No.9と同じ工程にてサンプルNo.10を作製した。従って、サンプルNo.10の空気極表面のうち第2領域には第二相が含まれていない。
第二相材料を添加することなく主相材料(LSCF)をテルピネオール及びバインダーと混合した空気極用スラリーを用いて空気極を作製した以外は、サンプルNo.1〜No.9と同じ工程にてサンプルNo.11を作製した。従って、サンプルNo.11の空気極表面には、第1領域が設けられておらず、全面がサンプルNo.1〜No.10の第2領域と同じ状態になっている。
サンプルNo.1〜No.10の空気極の表面を精密機械研磨した後に、株式会社日立ハイテクノロジーズのIM4000によってイオンミリング加工処理を施した。
サンプルNo.1〜No.11について、燃料極側に窒素ガス、空気極側に空気を供給しながら750℃まで昇温し、750℃に達した時点で燃料極に水素ガスを供給しながら還元処理を3時間行った。

Claims (2)
- 燃料極と、
酸化剤ガスが供給される空気極と、
前記燃料極と前記空気極の間に配置される固体電解質層と、
前記空気極上に配置される集電部材と、
を備え、
前記空気極は、ペロブスカイト型酸化物を主成分として含有するとともに、S及びCrの少なくとも一方を含有する化合物を副成分として含有しており、
前記空気極のうち前記集電部材と対向する表面は、前記集電部材と電気的に接続される第1領域と、前記集電部材から離れた第2領域とを有し、
前記第1領域及び前記第2領域それぞれは、前記ペロブスカイト型酸化物によって構成される主相と、前記化合物によって構成される第二相とを含み、
前記第1領域における前記第二相の面積占有率は、前記第2領域における前記第二相の面積占有率より大きい、
燃料電池。 - 前記第1領域における前記第二相の面積占有率は、2.5%以上10%以下であり、
前記第2領域における前記第二相の面積占有率は、0.3%以上1.8%以下である、
請求項1に記載の燃料電池。
