Abstract
【解決手段】光電変換により光電流を発生する第一及び第二光センサ102、103と、第一及び第二光センサ102、103が発生する光電流の差分を流す抵抗素子106と、抵抗素子106に光電流が流れることで発生する電圧を検出する電圧検出回路107と、を備えた光検出回路を有し、光検出回路の出力信号により動作を制御される電子機器である。電子機器が操作されるたびに充電される蓄電手段114(容量)と、蓄電手段114と抵抗素子106の間に設けられた整流手段115(ダイオード)と、を有し、蓄電手段114に充電された電流を、整流手段115を介して抵抗素子106に流す。

前記電子機器が操作されるたびに充電される蓄電手段と、
前記蓄電手段と前記抵抗素子の間に設けられた整流手段と、を有し、
前記蓄電手段に充電された電流を、前記整流素子を介して前記抵抗素子に流すことを特徴とする電子機器。
図1は、本実施の形態の光検出回路を有する電子機器、例えばマウス装置の概略回路図である。本実施の形態のマウス装置は、光センサ102と光センサ103と、NMOSトランジスタ104とNMOSトランジスタ105と、抵抗素子106と、電圧検出回路107と、で構成される光検出回路と、ダイオード115と、容量114と、スイッチ113と、スイッチ112と、マウス回路108と、で構成される。
光センサ103に光が入射されると、光センサ103から光電流が出力される。この光電流はNMSOトランジスタ104を介して、NMOSトランジスタ105へミラーされる。NMOSトランジスタ105は、NMOSトランジスタ104の例えば2倍の駆動能力であり、NMOSトランジスタ104に流れた光センサ103からの光電流の2倍の電流がNMSOトランジスタ105に流れる。一方、光センサ102に光が入射されることで発生した光電流は、NMOSトランジスタ105と抵抗素子106とに流れる。このため、光センサ102と103に同じ強度の光が入射した場合、光センサ102で発生した光電流のほとんどは、NMOSトランジスタ105へ流れ、抵抗素子106へはほとんど流れない。従って、抵抗素子106には電圧が発生しない。
もちろん、光センサは、光で発電するタイプを用いており、その発生した発電電流を光電流として検出するので、光センサでの消費電力は無く、その分、低消費電力化できるのは言うまでも無い。

Claims (3)
- 光電変換により光電流を発生する第一及び第二光センサと、前記第一及び第二光センサが発生する光電流の差分を流す抵抗素子と、前記抵抗素子に前記光電流が流れることで発生する電圧を検出する電圧検出回路と、を備えた光検出回路を有し、前記光検出回路の出力信号により動作を制御される電子機器であって、
前記電子機器が操作されるたびに充電される蓄電手段と、
前記蓄電手段と前記抵抗素子の間に設けられた整流手段と、を有し、
前記蓄電手段に充電された電流を、前記整流手段を介して前記抵抗素子に流すことを特徴とする電子機器。 - 前記光センサは、光により発電するPNジャンクション構造であり、前記発電により発生した光電流を出力することを特徴とする請求項1記載の電子機器。
- 前記電子機器は、マウス装置であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の電子機器。
