Abstract
Description
一般的には、比重の差を用いて廃樹脂を分離するが、問題は水よりも低い比重のポリエチレン(PE)と、ポリプロピレン(PP)の場合、このような方式での分離が難しい。このように、正確に分離されていない異なる物性の樹脂を同時に使う場合、樹脂間の相溶性が劣り、十分な各樹脂重合体間の親和度(affinity)が劣るので、耐衝撃性などの物性が低下するという問題がある。
さらに、LDPEが添加されたゴム系樹脂を使うことによって、廃樹脂でのガラス長繊維の分散度を向上させて、ガラス長繊維による強度の強化効果を極大化させる。
さらに、前記組成物で含有されたゴム樹脂が、前記範囲未満に混合されれば、耐衝撃特性が低下し、超過であれば、樹脂の成形性と屈曲強度とが劣る。
図1及び図2で、廃樹脂は、別途のガラス長繊維を使わない場合、SFは、1mm以下のガラス短繊維を使った場合、LFは、10mm以上のガラス長繊維を使った場合、LF/Rは、10mm以上のガラス長繊維にゴム系樹脂を使った場合を示す。
図1及び図2を参照すれば、ガラス短繊維を使った場合、ガラス長繊維を使わない場合よりも屈曲強度が一部増加するが、衝撃強度が弱くなる現象を確認することができる。しかし、10mm以上のガラス長繊維を使う場合、屈曲強度はもとより、衝撃強度がいずれも顕著に増加することが分かる。
下記の表1は、本発明によって製造された実施例及び比較例の組成物で製造されたパレットを密閉された部屋に10時間置いた後、3人の実験者が官能的に判定した結果である。
図3及び図4を参照すれば、本発明にオレフィン系ゴム樹脂を使う場合、低い分解速度によって、ゴム樹脂の溶融された廃樹脂内での凝集可能性が低くなり、これにより、最終得られたパレットの表面にゴム樹脂が黒い色に析出されないことが分かる。
図5ないし図8を参照すれば、ゴム系樹脂のみ溶融状態の樹脂に添加された場合、ガラス長繊維が全体的に均一に分散されず(図5参照)、その結果、空洞(Void)が断面に形成されていることが分かる(図6参照)。しかし、LDPE含有ゴム系樹脂を溶融状態樹脂にペレット状に添加した場合、ガラス長繊維が均一に分散され(図7参照)、同時に、組成物内には、空洞が相対的に少なく形成されることが分かる(図8参照)。
図9を参照すれば、前述した混合樹脂、ガラス長繊維、選択的にLDPEが含有されたゴム系樹脂を混合して前述した組成物を製造する。この際、前記LDPEは、ペレット状のゴム系樹脂に含有された後、前記混合樹脂に混合され、LDPE使用によってガラス長繊維の分散度が大きく向上することは、前述した通りである。また、選択的にLDPEが含有されたゴム系樹脂がオレフィン系ゴム樹脂である場合、プラスチック製品の表面にゴム系樹脂が析出される問題と炭化現象による悪臭の発生問題とを抑制することができる。
前述したように、本発明は、異なる構造、物性の廃樹脂の間を所定長のガラス長繊維で連結して、単位樹脂間の親和力、相溶性を向上させ、また、ゴム系樹脂を使って、耐衝撃特性、屈曲特性を大きく向上させる。さらに、LDPEが添加されたゴム系樹脂を使うことによって、廃樹脂でのPE樹脂内で優れた相溶性を有し、小枝を有するLDPEが、ガラス長繊維を固定させて分散度を向上させる。その結果、ガラス長繊維による強度の強化効果を極大化させる。また、ペレット状にLDPEが添加されたゴム系樹脂を2種以上の廃樹脂に混合させて、成形させることによって、ゴム系樹脂がプラスチックの表面に移動して析出される問題を解決する。
Claims (8)
- 2種以上の樹脂及びガラス長繊維を含む組成物であって、
2種以上の単位樹脂からなる混合樹脂と、
長さ10mm以上であるガラス長繊維と、
ゴム系樹脂と、を含み、前記混合樹脂100重量部に対して前記ガラス長繊維は、3〜30重量部、前記ゴム系樹脂は、0.5〜25重量部であることを特徴とする2種以上の樹脂及びガラス長繊維を含む組成物。 - 前記組成物は、LDPE5〜35重量部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ゴム系樹脂は、オレフィン系樹脂であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記LDPEは、ペレット状の前記ゴム系樹脂に含有された後、前記組成物に混入されたことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の組成物。
- 前記混合樹脂は、廃ポリエチレン(PE)と廃ポリプロピレン(PP)とからなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項4のうち何れか一項に記載の2種以上の樹脂及びガラス長繊維を含む組成物。
- 請求項1ないし請求項4のうち何れか一項に記載の組成物を含むプラスチック製品。
- 請求項1ないし請求項4のうち何れか一項に記載の組成物を用いたプラスチック製品の製造方法であって、
請求項1ないし請求項4のうち何れか一項に記載の組成物を製造する段階と、
前記製造された組成物を溶融させる段階と、
前記溶融された組成物を成形させて、プラスチック製品を製造する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とするプラスチック製品の製造方法。 - 前記製造された組成物は、ペレット状のゴム系樹脂に含有されたLDPEが前記混合樹脂に混合されることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のプラスチック製品の製造方法。
